"You're gonna sink or swim
You're gonna learn the truth
Not matter what you do,
Your gonna learn the truth."
-Silent Comedy -bartholomew

Brie was being kept against her will. In a place she didn't wanted to be. Kidnapped? Basically. Was she scared? Of course. Hurting? Of course. Crying? Yes. Confused? She is human, so of course she will be. She is trying to piece everything together about her current situation, and what she did to end up where she is. Or what she could have done to prevent her current situation.

"It doesn't feel like I've been kidnapped," Brie started, though her eyes weren't on the person she was talking too. His, where on her, however. "I mean- yeah, I feel trapped. And I know I've been kidnapped but this isn't what kidnapping is supposed to be." She looked at him now.

"And what is it suppose to be," he knew what she alluring at. "Because too me, being kidnapped is being held against your wishes. Taken. Trapped and can't leave."

Brie looked at him. Her eyes then drifted down to her hands. She exhaled. "And I feel, taken and trapped but this isn't how it is supposed to be," her eyes squinted. "I've been thought that usually in kidnappings, people are tied up in dark basement, or chained. That they are locked in a tiny, dark, scary room. That guns are constantly pointed at their heads. In some cases, they get raped, constantly. Abused, misused and other horrible, horrid things," her eyes met his, "So why am I held in a big fancy room? One with a big fancy bathroom attached. One where, I have a mini fridge filled with stuff, and cupboards with snacks. And fancy clothes." What makes me better than the others to get better treatment than the other innocent kidnapped victims? Nothing. "Why, do I have medical stuff checking on me every two days? Why do I have a cleaner?" She smiled a bit at him, a sad one. "A friend in you? Why?" Her eyes glistering now. She didn't felt like she deserved better treatment from the girls and boys she learned about being kidnapped.

She was grateful. Truly. But yet she didn't felt like she deserve it.

He sighed. "I know it may seem like it, but I'm not your friend." He gave the facts. And her lips parted, embarrassment and hurt washing over her face. "I was apart of your kidnapping Brie. And you are a cool girl, but we aren't in any situation to be friends."

And that hurt her. She should have known that. And I guess she did, but at the same time she didn't. But she was sweet Brianna, so she smiled, a thankful one, "Well thanks for acting like one. I think I needed that the most. You may not be my friend, Dean, but even if it's for the worst later, you made me feel better. So for that, thank you."

How could I hate that? Dean thought. When he spoke earlier it wasn't meant to hurt her, it was meant to set the facts straight. This was business and he was her boss, well one for them, and he couldn't have the lines blurred for later cases.

"Ya know, I'm not a sentimental guy, or the guy with the best sayings. So remember this for as long as you live," his voice a bit, threatening. Brie nodded, a tad bit scared. "The reason you aren't in a shitty situation isn't because you got lucky. It is because this isn't that type of kidnapping," her eyes solely on him, as she listened intently. "You're luckier than a lot. But sooner or later, things will get a lot worst. And in some situations you'd think, they are luckier than you. We didn't take you so you could be Cinderella trapped in her tower or whatever." She wanted to correct him and tell him Rapunzel but Dean continued to talk. "Sooner or later you'd have to work. And if you are horrible, you'll be killed."

And maybe, I deserve it. It's my fault Mickie die. Brie thought, hanging her head, letting the tears roll. She was incapable of sobbing at this point. She was doing that every time she was alone or even with Dean in the room.

Dean snapped out of his dark state. Believe it or not, Dean thought the innocent girl to be quite undeserving of his friend's victimization. She was kind, innocent, sweet....pure. She was also a beauty.

"Look, I'd try to do my best to make sure you don't have to do anything to insane. But you have try as well," Dean lightened up the mood, or tried too, some more, "Deano, got your back angel face, once you do your end of the bargain," he flashed her a smile.

Brie just looked at him, and return a polite one, out of pure curtesy. She was anxious and fearful. She was trapped.

"You know what? Since I dampened your mood and I actually like you. I'll dismiss all the guards standing around your room. And let you roam the house freely. Now keep in mind cameras are in placed and guards will still be outside the compound, so don't try anything stupid, like trying to escape. It will hurt you and many others and you don't want that now do you?" Dean hated playing this role with her but he needed too, Brie was shocked, but nodded. She never really saw the house, only when she was being pulled in. "Good, now feel free. I got to go. Or Seth will groan like a baby if I'm late. Ever heard Seth groan like a baby? It's the worst." And with that he left, closing the door and shouting, "Nothing stupid Brianna!"

Clueless. Brie was clueless as to what just happened.

She heard what he told her but still opted to stay in the room. She didn't quite trust him and she didn't want to accidentally do something stupid. Plus she just wanted to cry.

*********
Roman reached home and saw the guards in place outside of his home, which wasn't new. He drove in and parked his Ferrari, leaving it once he did, papers in hand, mean look on his face. He sighed and walked up the front stairs to his house, nodding at the guards who seemed to be daring each other to talk.

Roman rolled his eyes at their obviousness, getting a bit on edge, mind instantly running to Brie, thinking she may have escaped or something. However impossible that seemed to him to do.

"What is it?" Roman took unitive to talk first. Knowing the two idiotic guards were needing to tell him something and he wasn't going to wait until he was half way in his home to know what.

One final winning glare between the two guards, the one on the opposite end, inhaled, and looked at his boss. "The guards for inside the house, along with the maids have been dismissed and all left hours ago," the guard by the name of Byron spoke.

Roman's grey eyes popped. "And who was the idiot to do s- it was Dean wasn't it?" He started off outraged but ended sounding almost done. Both guards nodded. Roman shook his head. Sometimes Dean can be such a dumbass!

"But don't worry sir, the cameras on her room are still on and being monitored. The most she did was peeked her head out and that was it. The Great Dean told us she knew of the guards release and was given free range to roam the house," he looked a bit confused and stunned, "but she just stayed in there."

Of course she did. Roman thought, more surprised that he wasn't surprised of Brie's action. The man unlocked his door and walked in, slamming it shut. He looked around for the girl but saw no one. Resting his papers down on the wall table. He stalked up the stairs, heading to her room. Pressing an ear against the door, he heard little noises and knew it was her. He exhaled air through his mouth and just walked to his room.

Roman didn't usually held his captives in his home. He wasn't stupid. The types of captives he had before were maniacs. But Brie was different. And he wanted her to be kept in top shape and the way to do so, was to have her held in his house. At least she wasn't in the basement but a nice room. However annoying he thought her to be, he knew the least he could have done was give her a nice room. And with Seth and Dean insisting he did so, the deal was done.

Roman was tired, so he took his clothes off and pulled on sweats over his briefs. Remaining shirtless, he laid on his bed. He knew Brie was free to roam but he doubted she would. So he didn't care much about it. Dean failed to annoy him. Because he didn't know the girl well.

*******

Brie felt it. She knew it was coming. She searched around the room, to see if there was anything in place she could use but nothing. It's been hours since Dean had left and the most Brie did was peak her head out and saw the guards weren't there.

But now, she thinks, she may need to wonder the house a bit. She knew she was in mansion. Like stated, she saw it. Just never got chance to explore or really take it in. Grunting and mentally praying for the best. Brie twisted the door knob, slowly. She exhaled when the door opened and still there wasn't a guard in sight.

Brie pouted a bit because they might have actually been useful now, thinking about it.

She left the room and began to look for other rooms, keeping on the top floor. She knocked on door to door and received no answer. Brie, being the mannerly (and sometimes idiotic) girl she was, decided not to enter. It was rude. Free range to roam or not.

She finally arrived at the fanciest door, Brie has even seen in her life. Black with what seemed to be real gold knobs and some other seemingly real gold decor on the door. She starred at it in awe. It was beautiful.

Hoping she gets an answer she brought her knuckles up, watching them a bit, reminding herself what she needed and why she was even doing this, she knocked and stopped, waiting for a reply. She got none, so she turned to head down the stairs to ask the guards the favor but the door opened and she turned back around.

Air being caught in lungs when she realized who it was, she was speechless and her mouth went dry. She didn't know what to expect nor what to do, how to feel. He just looked at with a raised brow and an annoyed face. Brie noticed he was shirtless and turned away, face flushed. She never meant to see him half naked. Roman was confused by her actions.

"Is it important child?" He asked, annoyance and roughness clear as day in his voice. Seeing it was him, Brie was slightly ashamed to ask, setting aside her obvious fear of the man.

"Uh, I-" she didn't know if she had cut herself off or he did, but either way, she had stop speaking and he was now speaking. "Look at me when you speak or I speak to you," he demanded like the brute he can be.

Brie's eyes widened and she panicked, what was she do now? Inhaling, she obeyed, turning around the to face him. Catch is, her hands are covering her closed eyes. She didn't want to invade his privacy.

What the hell is wrong with this chick? Seriously, what is Stephanie doing to the kids at her school? What went wrong with this one in particular? Questions flooded his mind looking at her, now slightly amused.

"I don't want to invade your privacy and its inappropriate," Brie explained her reasoning for her blocked eyes. She wasn't seeing a thing. But Roman was seeing her pink tinted cheeks and found it funny but cute.

Course, he thought. He wanted to have fun, she did interrupt him from his nap. "Well, it's only inappropriate if the person has a problem with it. I don't have a problem with you seeing me bareback. Do you?" He taunted. Expecting her hand to come down and her eyes to open and she said no.

"I do," Brie honestly told. The shirtless man in front of her was wrong on all levels. She thought that.

Roman rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well it's wrong to disobey people's rules in their house and I want you to move your hand from your eyes and open them," he ordered, "Your eyes," he threw in just to clear up what he meant. He wasn't quite sure if she understood him.

Brie knew he had a point and as much as she did have a point to argue, she dropped it. She did fear him, and Dean's warning made that fear grow even more, knowing he is the head of it all. So she listened. Plus she wanted his help urgently.

Eyes opened, so she put her all into only focusing on his face, no matter how curious she was to see his bare front. Roman smirked, knowing what she was doing but dropped it and his face hardened.

"What is it? Want a room tour? Because the answer is no." He cleared the record one time. Brie shock her head.

"No, I need something at the store please," she meekly told, trying to keep his gaze, whilst fumbling with the hem of her shirt.

Roman grew annoyed. He didn't see what she could have possibly needed. Her room had everything. He had like five guys put all the necessary stuff she may need in there, even a teddy. So it annoyed him thinking the girl still had the audacity to ask for some thing. Ungrateful and stupid he thought of her.

"What?!" He shouted no bothering to hide his annoyance. Brie flinched, her eyes shut. He was just too rough and loud. It frightened her. She was fragile. Brie swallowed and kept her eyes on the ground, she was no longer brave enough to look up at him, especially with the added shame of her question. Roman was about to shout at her to spit it out but she spoke up.

"My period is coming and it has no...."  She trailed off, trying to find the words best suited to explain to the stranger. A male stranger. A scary male stranger. A scary male stranger who kidnapped her, what she needed. "No feminine sanitary," she hoped she worded it well enough for him to understand.

And by God, he did understood and it floored it. He wasn't expecting that. That didn't even cross his mind. And that's why you don't make guys set a room for a girl, a girl, who gets her period. Noted. Roman swallowed, looking at her.

He noticed she said coming and not came. Maybe he has time. "When?" Brie looked at him a bit confused. He was ticked by her slowness, "Your, bloodbath... When is it coming?"

Bloodbath! Brie exclaimed in her head, getting he was referring to her period. She saw how he got almost embarrassed from asking but tried to maintain his front, she smiled a bit more to herself. "It can be here as soon as tonight. I'm getting these intense pains and -"

"That's enough, wait here, I'll go put on a shirt and we'd head out immediately," Roman declared, walking back into his room, not bothering to close the door. Brie got a peak inside and saw his huge fitted for a king bed. She stopped looking in and looked down at the marble floors, taking in the swirls of greys and blacks. She loved it.

[[A/N: so, here it is.

Dean was a bit rough in the chap and his words suited Seth more, but I needed Dean to be the one to say that. Their relationship will get much better. Promise.

And Brie and Roman finally confronted each other again. And Roman is still an ass but shit. Lol.

I wanted this chapter to be informative about where Brie is. About how she feels. Where is being held. The direction, she will have to take. Her borderline stupid choices. How she can be brave when she needs something.

About how respectful she still is.

We needed to cover that all, to more on to her growth.....and destruction.

Ps, I know the gif of the Dean doesn't match his mood this chapter but he looked cute as fuck. Plus I liked the song, I figured why not.]]
