“My girl's ready to take control
She just blows my mind.”
Quote and song by; Jet

"Come in!" Stephanie called out from inside her office sat on her chair, head down as she looked at documents on her laptop, eyes narrowing at them, taking it all in carefully.

She had heard the door open, holding up a finger as to say wait, way too engrossed in what she was reading to even look up for a while. She felt the presences come closer to her desk and she heard the chair moved a bit when they say down.

"Huh," Stephanie muttered to herself, shaking her head before brushing it off, closing the laptop. "Sorry about that, how may I hel-," Her words fell short when she looked up at saw exactly who the presences were. "Mr and Mrs Colace," She spoke. She was honestly in shock they were actually there at the moment.

Both their glares harsh on her. "We've come to sue you." Mr. Elmond Colace spoke, his wife, Bianca, nodding besides him with the same cold glare.

Stephanie let out a little laugh of shock and disbelief. "It has been three weeks since your daughter has gone missing. Three weeks I've been trying all how to contact you to no avail and this is the first thing you say to me?" Stephanie was seriously shocked. Truly.

Mrs. Colace rolled her green eyes with a scoff and a judging laugh. "And why would we contact you? We have spoken to the police." She spoke.

Stephanie just looked at her because she really can't be serious but she looked like she was. "Because your daughter attended here, because maybe you would need insight on what happened before she went missing. Because a teacher was killed in that incident. And just common courtesy to speak with me." Stephanie had valid points and she was sure there were more she could have said.

Mr. Elmond sneered, his brown eyes (which Brie inherited from him) focus on the teacher. "We know all that we need to know, thank you. And we are showing you common courtesy by coming to tell you about our lawsuit against you in person." He then proceeded to rest the file on her desk.

Stephanie gawked at him like he was insane. Stephanie then picked up the folder and read the reason as to why they were suing her. "For letting your daughter leave the compound without your permission." She looked at them both, seeing as they both nodded. "Your daughter was sick. What did you suppose I did -let her stay?" Both parents glared at her darkly, like they were testing her. "And I did try to call you guys, I even texted you guys but as per usual I got no response. Was I supposed to keep her here sick until you decide to show up three weeks laters?" Stephanie slammed the file down on her desk.

Bianca leaned forward a bit closer to Stephanie, her green calculated eyes meeting Stephanie's green firece ones. "We have the best lawyers money can buy, and we are certain we will bring you down."

Stephanie smiled a fake polite little one, leaning over her desk, closer to Mrs. Colace. "You can't bring me down without any thing." And that she was certain of.

"Don't be so certain we have nothing." Elmond spoke like he knew something and that honestly wrecked Stephanie's nerves but she didn't dare show it. She knows how these things go.

"How do you think Brie would feel about this? She wouldn't want this. We should put our energies together to find her and then after we do so when can settle this whole thing. But our priority should always be Brie first." Stephanie said, not seeing any kind of pain in their eyes.

Both parents just laughed to themselves, standing up in sync almost like they had planned it. "Brie is probably already dead, at least we can use her death for something. See you in court." And on that note both parents left like there daughter being dead was just a gateway for more money.

Stephanie was left to laugh at it all. She wasn't humoured by it, just purely shock at how cold and ironic the whole thing was. She knew she was cold and at most times heartless but even she cares an enormous amount about the lives of her children. It was funny to her how those two heartless monster made an angel with the biggest heart.

••••••

It had been a week since she got her period and Roman carried her out. It has been six days since she had woke up after dropping to sleep in Roman's car and waking up in 'her room' to find the things that Roman had brought for her at the variety store the night before. She was shocked when she saw a tub of ice cream amongst those things and lots of chocolate, along with pills and water and pads.

Now she was walking through a building, besides Seth and Dean who came to pick her up, though they were muttering that Roman could have dropped her off. She didn't see Roman after that night, -she never left her room to.

"So, I know you're curious about what kind of training you will be doing," Seth started, pushing open a glass door, walking some more, Brie right besides him, nodding. "Well, you will learn basic fighting skills for now and how to act like a regular person and fit into society -as sweet are you are, you really are clueless and you need to learn the latter very soon."

Brie pouted a bit, feeling like she was an alien who had to learn to fit in with humans. Her eyes then looked to Dean when he let out a little snicker. "You are so going to get sacred when you realize how society works. Tell your innocence goodbye." Dean spoke.

"Dean!" Seth snapped at him, seeing the look of absolute horror on Brie's face after he had spoke. Dean shrugged knowing all he had done was tell the truth. "You stop speaking." He continued before his attention fell back to Brie. "Look, things will be new and frankly it will turn your whole world upside down but I will tell Paige to go easy on you and ease you into it. But trust me it is for your own good and ours, okay?" Seth spoke. He knew what to say. They always send him to convince people into doing things, especially people like Brie.

Brie looked at his brown puppy eyes, exhaling, nodding. "Thank you." She shyly smiled at him.

Seth smiled and then sighed, looking back forwards. "She really doesn't deserve this, Roman is an ass for this one. This is really the only thing I whole heartedly can't seem to accept that he has done." Seth mostly ranted to himself, Brie did not know how to feel about those words.

"Usually I don't do this.... but I agree with you on this one." Dean agreed, really thinking Brie was like a little fish who they should release back into the ocean and not kill and cook her.

Brie felt a bit odd and uncomfortable not knowing what to say about the situation but she also felt like she should say something to ease their worry. "Thank you for caring but I'm sure this whole thing was for a reason." Brie then sadly but somewhat happily exhaled. "I rather I suffer than someone who doesn't deserve too."

Little did she know her words made things worse. It made their hearts sink more because all her words did was provw she did not deserve any of this. And she sure as hell did not deserve what was about to come her way.

Unbeknownst to her the two men exchanged sorrowful looks to each other before pulling it together.

"This is where you would come to train, every other day." Seth spoke, putting his card on a little black box, Brie watched in amazement as its light turned from red to green and the door clicked, Seth pushed it open, nudging her to walk forward.

"Pumpkin!" A pale woman with jet black hair, dressed in all black came rushing to Brie with an English accent. Brie froze not really knowing what was going or what she was going to say but that didn't matter because she became even more shocked when said woman hugged her.

Brie was still for a second before she remembered it may seem rude if she doesn't hug her back and do she did. What She did not expect was to feel the urge to cry because she missed this type of contact. It reminded her of her best friends, Alicia and Emma.

Brie tightened her hold and struggled not to cry, twisting the knife that was already in Seth's and Dean's heart at the sight.

Paige pouted, her eyes giving Seth a look of anger like she was angry at him. Paige began to rub her back whilst Brie cuddled into her, a total stranger she doesn't even know the name too. One she had just met literally seconds ago. But it felt good. Paige felt safe and she was the first female that seemed to have any power she had seen since being taken.

"You're Brie." Paige pulled away but she kept holding her by her shoulders, eyes boring into Brie's who nodded. "I'm Paige." Paige introduced watching the smile start to come across Brie's face. She wondered how the girl can still genuinely smile after everything. Pretty sure if she had been in Brie's position she would have been clawing at everyone she sees. "I had a whole day's worth of plans to train you but for today we will just talk. I want to get to know you, alright pumpkin?" Paige asked with sincere care.

Brie liked her. She knows she shouldn't but she felt desperate to have female friends again. She felt like Paige cared. She doesn't quite get why she is speaking to her like a child when she looks about a year or two older but she doesn't complain, it actually feels nice. Feels nice to have someone show you care without it being in an angry way like Seth and Dean does.

Brie was about to answer but Seth had began to speak. "Roman say to not waste any time. To train her immediately." Seth told her the instructions that were given, though he too doesn't like it.

"Roman can shut his ass up." Paige started taking her hands off of Brie, looking at Seth. "She is way too sweet for all of this to begin with and since we are already keeping her here against our better judgments the least I can do is make sure she is okay." Paige argued back without a single trace of fear for any of them and Brie truly admired her for it.

Seth shut his eyes tightly, exhaling. "As sad as it is, you can't be her friend Paige -at least not yet." Brie felt broken at those words. It was starting to seem like no one is this whole 'thing' can be her friend and she guesses that is normal but she hates it.

Paige's eyes gained more fire. "Maybe not. But I can still care about her mental health. I can still want her to be as okay as she can be. Like you said it is sad she is even in this place, that she is going to be apart of this world so the least I can do is try to make it a little less sad. Brie deserves that much and way more." She walked even closer to Seth, eyes looking at him coldly. "Go ask Roman what is the punishment for caring about Brie and then tell him he will need to apply it because that is exactly what I plan on doing."

Brie definitely liked this girl. And if she was going to be the one who trains her, she is glad for it. Because in the short of amount of time since she met the woman she already wanted to be as strong as her.

Seth glared at her before sighing in defeated. "Paige wins again!" Dean declared causing everyone to remember that he was even there. Brie smiled at the over exaggerated way he had said it. Seth glared at him and Paige cast him a cheeky wink.

"What would you guys even talk about?" Dean then went on to ask. He knows enough about the two of them to know that finding something in common to talk about would be hard.

Brie felt a tad defeated because she knows she doesn't have much things to say. She feels like nothing she says would excite someone like Paige. "Puppies," Paige replied back, blinking at Dean with a fake sweet smile. Brie did like puppies.

Just then someone turned on the huge t.v. in the room, jumping everyone else in it a bit. The stereo was loud. Brie looked to the t.v. seeing a blonde news lady, but that is not what caught her eyes. What had caught her eyes were the words.

'Brianna Garica Colace has been found!'

Seth's eyes had went wide because this was not how she was supposed to find out. Dean had looked honestly amused. And Paige had looked shocked.

"Our reporters and cameras were waiting outside when she had left the station today and this is what we got." The blonde news reporter told.

Brie was frozen in place because that was her name, she had been missing but she was certain she wasn't found and she was certain she wasn't at the police station.

Brie paled when the tv showed a clip of a girl leaving the stations, with police guiding her as plenty of reporters started pointing mics and cameras in her face, asking a million different questions.

"How do you feel about being free?" One reporter asked causing the girl to stop and look at him.

"I am thankful. It feels like I've been blessed." She had replied with a soft smile.

Brie had honestly thought she was going mad. Not only did the girl look just like her, she sounded the exact same. Brie did not even know Seth had leave her side until the t.v. shut off which resulted in her head quickly turning to see who had done so, finding Seth with the remote giving her a freaked out look.

And if she had thought she had felt the most fear in her life when she met Roman and found out she was kidnapped, she was wrong. Because she truly feels fear now. Fear knowing that someone else is out there pretending to be her. That that someone can ruin her good name. That she can die and the whole world would think she fine. That people will stop looking for her. That her parents will embrace another as their own. That if she manages to escapes no one will believe she is who she is.

Fear of Roman now truly seeing how much power he really had. She just knew he was behind it. Seth all but told her that. She feared Roman before but now her fear for him ran deeper than physical but now mental. How did he get someone who looks like her and sound like her? Was that me? Did they drug me?

She only had one question left to ask?

"Why was I on tv?"

||AN; I think the song describes Paige's character in this book and maybe even Stephanie as well. It was time for Brie to make girl friends.

Ps: What the hell was Brie doing on tv??||
