Past of A Ghost?
Y/N stood up, sweating everywhere, as he let out another cry and rushed right back into the maze for the 5th time. Everyone watched him amazed, scared, and impressed.
"The most I've ever done is 3. This kid is crazy." Alucard commented.
"He really doesn't have any powers?" Yuri asked.
Locke watched you with interest as you rushed through the course in record time. You threw your knives at the turrents after infusing them with the electricity from your glove causing them to go boom.
"He does know he can just avoid them right?" Jason asked.
You got shot by one and fell back causing everyone to worry before you shot back up and yelled at the top of your lungs before continuing on with more force.
"How does he keep doing that?" Lacy asked.
Locke watched you with an emotion no one could read. One no one had ever seen from him. Fear.

As the sun poured through the blinds and shined in the room that belonged to Y/N L/N, a new day, a new morning had began. This morning doesn't begin with super powered villains robbing a bank or the SHCU hunting down wannabe heroes. No. This adventure began in bed where two tired, emotionally and physically beaten teens slept.
As Y/N opened his eyes he saw the company he had. He smiled as the rays of sunshine shined down upon her face. The face of his friend, partner, and supporter. His smile grew a little wider when he remembered that he can add one more title on that list. Lover.
Rose wasn't awake and honestly Y/N couldn't blame her. Hell, he would be asleep to if his mental clock didn't wake him up. Her curls were in a mess and some even covered her face. Her lipstick was still on from the night before and the bruises only showed on her arm. Y/N was thankful. He was still wearing his jeans and tank top while she wore a pair of his sweats and one of his shirts.
Y/N was going to get up to stretch but seeing as Rose had turned his arm into her personal pillow, he stayed. He didn't complain. He didn't argue. He just laid there and enjoyed the fact that even though he was Ghost, the vigilante, he could still have moments like these. He brushed some locks of hair from her face and she stirred. She opened her eyes and stared at Y/N who stared right back at her. Her blue eyes met his grey ones and she smiled.
“Morning.” She said.
“Morning. How do you feel?” He asked.
She didn't answer right away. She instead fixed herself so that she was closer to him.
“I'm fine. Just really tired. What about you? You got it worse than I did and that's just from what I saw.” She asked with concerned in her voice.
“I mean I'm sore. I'm more concerned about the bruises though.” He admitted.
He turned his head to show her where Bandit had got him with his pistol. She gasped and quickly, gently, placed her hand on the bruise. He closed his eyes as he winced in pain. She began to retract her hand but he placed his over hers.
“It's fine. Really. I'm kinda use to it by now.” He assured.
She nodded and removed her hand.
“You do have more experience with Crypts and Accidentals than I do. I have no idea how you do this as much as you do.” She said.
Y/N shrugged.
“It's a gift I guess. I just ignore the pain until I'm done with the fight. No idea how but I'm just able to.” He explained.
“That explains why you were able to get thrown through a wall and still fight.”
Y/N smiled as Rose looked up to him and quickly gave him a kiss before she sat up and stretched.
“You need a shower and some food.” She commented.
“Aye aye captain.” He complied.
Rose sat on his bed crossed legged as Y/N got some fresh clothes and headed off to the shower. When he was dressed and refreshed he returned to Rose who had cleaned the makeup off her face. Her freckles were now visible and so was the small scar on her cheek. She was brushing her hair when he walked in. The two of them sat in silence as she finished her hair and he fixed the bandage on his wrist.
The two of them finally headed out of the room and went downstairs where Sanders was sitting on the couch talking to someone. When they reached the bottom they found it was none other than May Berle. By her was Matt who smiled at the two.
“Ms. Berle. What are you doing here?” Y/N asked.
The two adults turned their attention to the young couple.
“Good morning L/N. Your caretaker called me over after your fight with Bandit. I see you two managed to handle him.” She explained.
Rose looked down slightly embarrassed.
“Actually I didn't. Y/N had to come save me. He's the one who took down Bandit, alone.” She admitted.
May looked at the two and nodded in understanding.
“Well regardless you managed to take down a Crypt who was planning on leveling New Marrow. A powerful one at that. You stopped another New York incident from happening. You should be proud.” She said.
Y/N smiled a bit and took a seat next to his guardian. Rose sat next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder.
“Yeah, I just want to sleep for a few days. I don't know if you've ever been pistol whipped through a wall during your careers but I'm really sore.” Y/N joked.
Sanders let out a chuckle and placed his hand on the boy's lap.
“I'm proud of you son. Despite you not having powers and doing something that has never been done before, you managed to stop a villain.” He said almost tearing up.
Y/N gently slapped a hand on the old man's shoulder before turning to face Rose. Happiness. He felt happiness.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"
The Crypts watched as the boy ran back into the course yet again. Jason was almost impressed while Locke simply observed. Everyone else, however, was watching with great concern.
"If he keeps pushing himself like that he'll break." Yuri spoke aloud.
Y/N made it mid way through the course before seopping to his knees once the turrents landed three shots on him. He rolled behind cover and let out another cry before throwing two knives at the damn things. He stepped out of cover only to be hit in the knee.

As Taurus began to rise from the debris Ralph knew that his plan didn’t work. Cassandra pulled out her knives and Ford took up his fighting stance.
Amanda and Elizabeth began to come up with a new plan before they heard a clash. Glass fell on the floor as did a man dressed in a black cloak. Everyone looked to him but before anyone could say anything Taurus charged straight towards him. The man didn’t flinch but instead lifted his arms. When Taurus was close enough the man grabbed his horns and flung him away into a stack of crates. Everyone watched in amazement as the man ripped off the cloak to reveal his costume. A black jacket with grey sleeves, jeans, combat boots, and padded gloves. He turned to the group and they all gasped when they saw the iconic mask covering the lower half of his face.
“What the hell is this? I leave for a year and my name is just up for grabs? Who are you guys?” Ghost asked.
Before he could get his answer Taurus got back up.
“Nice try! You must not know me! I’m Taurus the strongest of the….”
Ghost quickly stopped him by raising a finger.
“You’re right. I have no idea who you are and frankly, I don’t care. All I knew is that you are running amok through my city. You also rudely interrupted my conversation.” He said.
Taurus was dumbfounded before his confused face turned into an angry one. He yelled and got ready to charge again. Ghost didn’t move. He began to charge. Ghost didn’t move. The team watched the events unfold and their eyes grew wide and Ghost finally punched his gloves together which caused a mess of electricity to spark. Taurus got close and in one movement, Ghost gave him a left hook followed by a right. Taurus stumbled back and Ghost jumped up. He delivered one last blow which set off a mini explosion that had finally finished off the large man. Taurus fell back and Ghost turned off his shockers.
“Wow. They just don’t make bad guys like they used to. Shame.” Ghost said shaking his head.
He turned back to the team but didn’t get a chance to say anything before he heard police sirens.
“Well looks like the cavalry has arrived. Scatter and meet me at the water tower by Washington and Lincoln.” He commanded.
Everyone scattered as Ghost stayed behind. He pulled out a sticky note and wrote a quick letter before placing the note of Taurus’s face. He then vanished. About 15 minutes later he was at the water tower waiting for the others. The city has changed but not enough to confuse him. He closed his eyes and let the cool air hit him. After a year away helping the Warriors in Norway and saving his friends, he was glad to be home. He heard someone land on the roof and opened his eyes to see one of the people looking at him. Soon everyone else joined and they were all looking up at him.
“So, are you really him? Are you really Ghost?” One of the younger ones said.
“Yep. That’s me. So you guys know who I am. Who are you?” Ghost asked.
The tallest one stepped forward and introduced himself.
“Well since you disappeared I kinda took the Ghost name. Sorry.” He apologised.
Ghost nodded and sighed.
“Yeah i’m not calling you Ghost. We’ll work that out later though.” Ghost decided.
Another one stepped forward. Ghost noticed some grey hair hanging out of her hood. She looked too young to have any grey hair.
“I’m Banshee. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She said.
“The pleasure is mine. Is that a wig?” Ghost asked.
Banshee nodded.
“So my real hair doesn’t poke out and give me away.” She explained.
The next one was much more bubbly and lively.
“I’m Spectre! I have so many questions for you!” She introduced.
Ghost laugh a little.
“I’ll try to answer them later.” He promised.
Ghost turned to the last two and immediately knew that one was a boy and the other was a girl. The girl stepped forward.
“I’m Entity.” She said shyly.
The boy looked at Ghost like he was some kid in trouble.
“I’m Wrath.” He said.
Ghost looked over the group and nodded.
“So you guys are the ones who’ve been looking over my city. Nice to meet you all.” He said with a bow.
He jumped down from the tower and landed in front of them all.
“Well I guess since you are all so worthy of watching over my home i figure you guys are ok with tell me who you really are?” He questioned.
Everyone was taken back at the comment and looked at each other. They knew each other’s identities but no one else did. Ghost noticed their hesitation and sighed.
“Well then, let me start this off.” He said.
He pulled back his hood and pulled down his mask. Everyone watched as he smiled at the group.
“My name is Y/N L/N. I’ve been Ghost since I was 14 so for about 5 years. I’m a student at Johnson’s Law school and i’m trying to an attorney. It’s nice to meet you all.”

Y/N shot up as the course was shut down. He raised a hand to his head in confusion.
"The hell was that? Where did that even...."
"Ok we're calling it kid. Seriously, you can't get the memo? You got knocked on your ass countless times." Jason said as he walked towards him.
Y/N looked up at the older boy who was standing over him with his hands on his hips.
"You lasted longer than most on your first try. Not bad. But, you need some more rest. We'll pick this back up tomorrow." He decided.
Y/N just sat there before picking himself up. Jason began talking again as he led the boy out of the room but Y/N couldn't hear him. Just how bad did he hit his head to imagine something like that?
