A Good Friend In A Time Of Need

You watched as the helicopter flew from the building. You reacted as fast as you could and, without thinking, jumped off the roof and launched one of the small lines from your wrist. You managed to pull yourself, mid air, to the bottom of the helicopter. You held onto the bars below and began to analyse what you could do.

"Ok maybe this was a bad idea." You said to yourself.

Currently you were in the process of taking down a high member of the Family. A human and drug traffic asshole who was now dealing with weapons.

You wished you had your goggles but then remembered that they were shattered during your last fight with Atlas.

"Great. Another thing I just remembered to do when I get home."

You began to swing yourself and manage to jump high enough to grab one of the doors to the helicopter. You swung it open and were greeted by three men with guns pointing straight at you.

"Oh. Hey guys. Is there a Dan Dowell on-board?" You asked.

The men opened fire and you quickly let go of the door and caught on to the bar once again.

"So much for humor." You mumbled.

You reached for the other bar and grabbed on. You swung yourself into the helicopter and landed in a empty seat next to one of the shooters. You looked around and came up with ten possibilities before the men had noticed you. You looked at them and waved.

"S'up?" You asked.

The man next to you tried to throw an elbow but you quickly caught it and threw his arm back at him causing the man to hit himself. You were doing this simply because you didn't want to go home. This could have waited for another week. The man in front of you aimed his gun but you kicked it up causing it to shoot into the roof. You then grabbed the man next to you and threw him onto the man in front of you. You still didn't want to talk to Sanders after what had happened that morning. The two fall onto the floor and you turned to the third man who had fired a round that landed on the wall next to you.

You just didn't want to face Emily. You lunged forward and grabbed the gun before throwing it out the open door. You then cracked the man across the head successfully knocking him out. You really felt the tension after you blew up that morning. You looked into the cockpit and sure enough, there was Dan Dowell in the passenger seat.

"So this is what first class looks like. Neat." You joked.

Dan turned towards you and pointed his own gun, a golden one at that, straight at you.

"How much money do you get from drug trafficking?!" You asked.

Dan opened fire at you who ducked down. You threw a punch at Dan who managed to push it away so the punch landed on the pilot which had knocked him out. What were you gonna do? You had to go home eventually. The helicopter suddenly began to fall.

"You wouldn't happen to know how to fly one of these do you?!" You asked.

As the began to get closer to the ground you noticed that the place they were going to land was crowded with people looking around for the festival. This is a perfect visual metaphor of the situation you found yourself in. No not the helicopter falling to a bunch of people. The yelling at your guardian when he meant good intentions.

"This can't be good." You commented.

You braced yourself for impact and hoped for something good to happen. It looked as if luck was on your side after all. The impact came but it wasn't as hard as you had expected. You opened one eye and noticed that you didn't hit the ground. You eased up and looked around to see the people below looking at the helicopter and you. No. Not you. They were looking at the one who had stopped the copper from hitting the ground. As you began to fly back up you knew that someone was now holding the craft. The person tossed the helicopter onto a nearby roof and you got out. You looked around before you heard someone land behind him. You turned to be greeted with green flames and a smile.

"Looks like I came back at a good time huh?" His savior asked.

Standing there was none other than King. You smiled wide as you didn't see the green flaming hero but a angel sent from heaven itself to save you. You got on your knees and began to bow wildly.

"I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!" You began to cheer.

King laughed at the remark and turned to the helicopter where Dan was crawling out from. You stood up and joined King as Dan got to his feet and looked at the two of you.

"Great. First Ghost shows up and now King? Can my day get any worse?" He asked himself.

"You bet it can!" King said.

In a blink of an eye King had grabbed Dan, flown up, and slammed him back down which knocked him out. King turned to you.

"You want to turn him in or me?" He asked.

"I mean you did save my butt and knocked him out. I say you earned the right." You offered.

"Cool. I'll turn him and the other bozos in then i'll meet you at your place. That cool?" King asked.

"Yeah man. I'll let Shepard know. See you in a bit."

With that you hopped down from the roof and began your journey home. Guess things won't be so bad.

"Talk about timing. I could use someone to talk to about this whole CCU and Emily crap. Matt is helpful but I need another mask to talk to."

As you reached your home you crawled I your window and changed. You did have company coming.

Elsewhere!

Lisa looked over the school's records to find someone who best matched those of Ghost. Body type, strength, speed, intelligence. It had seemed that she was wrong before on her suspicions of Y/N Jones and Matt Kirby seeing as the two of them couldn't possibly be him. Y/N was too much of a idiot and honestly his P.E. records didn't come anywhere close to Ghost's profile. Matt was, well, he just can't be.

Suddenly she found a student who had matched the most to Ghost. The only thing was, she was a girl named Carrie Whitehart.
