<The Next Day... • ???'s POV • Malie City Docks>

"Aaaaaah...." I yawned, as got off of the ship. I stretched, looking around at this new island. "So this is Malie city, eh?" I grinned. "Yeah it is. It's a very common place for sightseeing. Maybe we'll meet another chosen if we look around." Solgaleo informed. "You just wanna see her again, don'tcha?" I sighed, smiling at my legend. "...I honestly have no idea why... Instinct, maybe?" He asked, as I laughed. "Dude, chill. I have a good feeling about this city." I said, as I began to walk up the stairs, leaving the docks.

<Azuki's POV>

Lunala and I explored the city, but we couldn't see any other chosen. "Have we checked everywhere?" I asked, as Lunala hummed. "No, we still have the gardens to explore." She replied, as I grinned. "Onwards!" I pointed at the entrance to Malie City's famous gardens.

When I had approached the gate, Lunala froze, and pulled me away. We were taking cover behind one of the Garden's walls. "Shh..." She shushed me, as I gave her a confused look.

"What?" I asked, as she cleared her throat. "There's definitely a chosen pair in there... But..." She looked down. "Let's avoid these two, okay..?" She said, her voice getting quieter until it was just a faint whisper.

"Why? You're the one who told us to team up!" I stated. "..." She sighed. "Look, it's a legendary that I absolutely cannot see at the moment due to... certain complications..." She said, looking away.

"Cmon." I grabbed her hand, and started to pull her out of cover. "Let me go!" She grumbled, As I stopped pulling. "Avoiding it isn't going to get you anywhere!" I shouted, as her eyes widened. "I know. I just... I can't muster up the courage to be near him, let alone speak to him." She closed her eyes.

"Really? You're a legendary Pokemon that's lacks courage... Come on!" I said, as she finally stopped resisting. We walked inside. "I love this place!" I smiled, taking a deep breath of fresh air.

"Is that him?" I asked Lunala, pointing to a blonde haired, slightly tanned man who looked about my age, and a taller armored man next to him. Lunala nodded quickly. "Cmon, maybe they'll see us and walk over!" I whispered, as me and Lunala sat down on a bench, facing the crystal clear water.

"Azuki, I apologize for what's about to happen." Lunala groaned, as the two spotted us. "Heeeey!" The non armored man waved, as he and his legendary ran over to us. Lunala hunched over, trying to hide behind me. "Uh... H-hey!" I waved.

The legendary Pokemon looked at me with a confused stare, making me nervous. "Luna." He spoke. Lunala looked up with a jolt. "G-greetings, S-Solgaleo.... What b-brings you to this pretty garden on this fine day?" She stuttered.

"We were looking for other Chosen pairs..." Solgaleo said, turning his back to her.

He's uneasy too?!

"We were too. Right, Lunala?" I asked, tapping her shoulder. She stopped hiding, and nodded. "I'm Azuki. It's a pleasure to meet you, Solgaleo and... What's your name?" I asked, as the other guy laughed. "I'm Aaron." He grinned. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." I smiled.

"Hey, Azuki?" Aaron asked, pulling me away from Lunala. "Let's give them a minute." He said, as I nodded.

<Lunala's POV>

"........." We both awkwardly said nothing to each other for about a minute. Then Solgaleo finally decided to speak up. "So.... How are you?" He grinned nervously. "...good enough..." I mumbled.

"Look, this is really getting old. We need to put our past behind us." He said, sitting down next to me on the bench. "You do realize that we are in fact forbidden to be together. Sir Necrozma told us himself." I grumbled.

"Who cares what that guy says! We're legendary Pokemon! We can do whatever we want!" He laughed, as I sighed. "You know that I am not one to break rules, even if my life is on the line." I muttered quietly.

"Arceus makes the rules. Necrozma doesn't." Solgaleo said, patting my shoulder. "...." I stayed silent, still avoiding eye contact. "I'll have Arceus kick his ass, no big deal." He chuckled.

His carefree and optimistic attitude has always secretly pleased me. But after Necrozma tore us away from each other, we've never been the same.

"We both love each other. There's no changing that." Solgaleo said, putting his arm around me. "You're stating the obvious." I finally looked at him. He had a kind smile on his face. He really hasn't changed much since I last saw him.

"Cmooooon." He shook me. "If we get in trouble, it's your fault." I smiled, hugging him.

<Azuki's POV>

Aaron and I had been watching Solgaleo and Lunala from a distance, and they finally we're together again. "YES!" We both whispered, giving each other a high five. "Solgaleo is usually pretty optimistic, but I've never seen him this happy before." Aaron laughed.

"Lunala is usually... Well... Very formal and doesn't usually show emotion." I laughed. I looked back over at Lunala and Solgaleo, and gasped. "What?" Aaron asked.

"...!" I covered my mouth and pointed at the two legendary Pokemon. "Ooooooh YEEEAH!" Aaron cheered. They had most definitely made up.

"They just... Kissed!" I spoke, trying desperately not to squeal.

A small beeping noise sounded. The two started looking around all of a sudden, looking on edge. "You hear that?" I asked, as Aaron nodded, looking around. "Do you have a watch by any chance?" He asked, as I shook my head no. "I don't think it's a watch..." I said.

Aaron growled slightly. "WATCH OUT!" He shouted, tackling me into the water. A loud explosion sounded, as chunks of dirt and rock began to fall into the water. Aaron pulled me up to the surface.

If Aaron hadn't shoved us into the water, we would've been blown to pieces. A large hole took the place of the ground we had been standing on.
