Once the group traveling towards to the Land of Dawn were all inside the cabin with a new member, Winslow commanded Harvey to begin another flight. The dragon let out a humph noise before beginning to flap his wings, levitating himself off the ground and creating a momentum before soaring into the crystal sky.
Angela watched in awe through the window. She has never seen such a massive beast before.
Right explosion her, she heard a soft chuckle of someone. "Isn't this dragon so big? It's incredible!" Claire exclaimed, her eyes staring straight towards to the ground as they were getting higher and higher. "Yes, it is indeed an amazing experience." Angela commented. Her eyes were staring at the ground as well, watching as the houses, people, and rivers become smaller and smaller.
"So um, where did you come from?" The little girl with cat ears curiously asked the android, turning her head to look at her.
The female android lifted her head up. Her pair of amber orbs that was gazing on the green scenery below were now looking up at the clear sky of the day. "I was in a lovely forest where a hidden laboratory is built. There, I spent all my days with my father." She answered calmly, even though her heart was starting to ache. "What's a...father?" Claire question's startled the female android who was peacefully gazing at the sky.
Angela looked at the little girl besides her with pitiful eyes. "A father is...Well, who takes care of you as a parent." She tried to create a brief definition, but Claire who stood before her tiled her head, confusion and curiosity inside her blue orbs. "Parent?" The little girl questioned again, startling the mechanical angel once more.
This poor, poor girl! Did her own family abandon her? Angela thought a negative thought which cast a frown upon her face. "A parent is your mother or father. A mother is the female parent while the father is the male parent. They both will take care and be responsible for their children." She answered the little girl's question again, finally making her understand her words.
"Ah! I get it now, thank you," Claire smiled brightly. "If you have a parent, does that mean I have one too?" She questioned once more.
Angela was dumbstruck for a moment and slightly began to panic. She didn't want to cause mental harm to the little girl who looks incredibly innocent and fragile. "Uh..." The female android opened her mouth, but as Claire saw that no words were coming out, she repeated Angela's action. "Uh?"
The mechanical angel took a deep breath, thinking for a small moment before finally answering the girl's question. "Of course you do, you just...haven't found them yet! Like me, I've lost my father, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere, perhaps looking for me too." She positively spoke, which felt bad and good at the same time for her chest.
However, that made little Claire smile and hug her, so that ended well and assured Angela that the little girl would not be asking more of that topic in the meantime.
A couple of days went by like the wind. Angela and Claire were playing cards, board games, and engaged in multiple conversations to take away time. In the other hand, Lancelot and Odette would spend some time together, the other half of the time being taken by Winslow for he needed to teach Odette magic spells and such, which did not go well with Odette's expectations of being with Lancelot for a whole day.
Their rather peaceful time was soon destroyed by the roar of the Ladon Draconica, Harvey. He indicated the old mage and the others to look up ahead outside the safe cabin.
"Why did it roar?" Claire asked curiously with a hint of fear. "We must be entering another realm," Winslow answered, walking towards to the door that will lead him out of the cabin. "Odette, Lancelot, take care of the children first. I'll go see where we're heading." Winslow said to the two young adults before walking out of the cabin, the door closing shut behind him once he got outside.
The legendary mage used magic to fly towards to the mount's head. His eyes widened upon seeing a gray, endless-like wall before him.
The gray wall is indeed a time barrier, a magical and peculiar thing that divides vast realms from one other. Because of the time barrier, domains do not share the same time.
No one knows how the time barrier was made, but it was similar to the teleportation sphere.
This foggy realm that Winslow's group is about to enter is very unfamiliar and unknown to the old mage. Moreover, he has almost been around the world and realms because of the Great War experience!
Perhaps, Harvey took them to a shortcut? The old mage could only hope as he fled back inside the cabin.
"What is it?" His student asked, a worried expression on her face. "A foggy realm which I do not know, but I'm assuming that Harvey is taking us to a shorter path to reach our destination." Winslow answered.
When Angela and Claire looked out of the window, they could only see the grey fog that surrounded them.
Time slowly slipped by, and the fog only continued. Harvey was starting to get annoyed by the mist. He could not take it any longer and so, decided to let out a cry and complaint to Winslow that he was getting tired.
The legendary mage sighed. He wanted to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea, but that dragon suddenly ruined the moment for him. "Fine, you can rest for a while, if you can land to a flat surface that is." He said to Harvey through telepathy. The acceptance of the Ladon Draconica's whining made the mystical beast elated.
Harvey began to decrease his speed as he carefully lowered himself down and down in hopes that there is ground.
When no earth or land came, the dragon began to look depressed but carried on. He also started to take notice that just below him was an ocean because of the splashing waves.
Only when he saw that there a massive building in front of him, he roared in happiness, causing everyone inside the cabin to collapse because of the earth-shaking sound.
The building before the Ladon Draconica looked like a castle, but at the same time not. The building was also in ruins and was almost covered in moss. It gave off a melancholy and creepy vibe, but when he saw that there is an extensive garden that was flat, he could not be any happier!
The dragon fled towards to the garden, quickly landing safely on the grassy earth without mistake. He curled up and closed his eyes, indicating that he has fallen fast asleep.
Winslow grunted at the now sleeping dragon. He went outside of the cabin and observed his surroundings. Seeing that there was no presence of danger in the premises, he signaled the others that it was safe to go out.
Fog surrounded them, but the ruined castle-like building could be seen in their view of vision. It was gigantic, more gigantic than the dragon behind them that was as big as a small mountain.
"A structure in the middle of nowhere...?" Lancelot commented, baffled by this strange realm. "If there's a structure, beings must have been here before," Odette spoke, highly intrigued and eager to go inside the building.
When the group of young adults and children were about to walk forward to the building, Winslow immediately stopped them from continuing their tracks. "We do not know what lies ahead of us. Dangerous and dark creatures are most likely lurking in this thick fog and might endanger you all." He spoke worryingly.
"We will never know once we get there, sir Winslow." Angela spoke. Her gaze directly at the ruined structure in front of her. "Mhm, I agree!" Odette exclaimed. She grabbed Lancelot's arm and pulled him towards to the structure like a little child pulling its mother to a toy store.
Winslow could only sigh, starting to have headaches form inside his head. He decided to walk ahead of the group just in case a monster pops out in front of their view.
Luckily, during their long walk towards the entrance of the building, they have not encountered a single living being that could pose a threat. This is extremely good for the whole group and caused the old mage to be reassured for a small moment.
"Such a big, big door!" Claire exclaimed, her eyes showing signs of awe-struck as her jaw hanged from her mouth. "Indeed, and it is a door that only magic can open," Winslow stated, very curious as well.
Who are the people who resided in this foggy realm? They may never know.
The old mage using his staff, struck the ground with it, creating a gush of wind. Magic flowed out of his staff and then towards to the magical door.
The symbol at the center of the door glowed a golden light. It creaked then opened bit by bit until they saw the contents of what is inside the structure.
They immediately saw countless shelves and books! However, some books were destroyed, and shelves were on the ground broken. The floors and walls had massive cracks, while the ceiling revealed to have holes in it, showing the picture-less sky.
Once the group all entered together, the large door behind them shut itself. Luckily, it was not night time, but they don't know if it is morning or afternoon either.
"A library?" Winslow questioned, completely confound at the moment. "It looks like it," Odette commented, her eyes roaming around the room to observe this peculiar place.
Even though everything was in ruins, some of the books look readable, and some parts of the structure were reachable. They decided to explore for a while when suddenly, a bright light emerged from the floor in front of their eyes.
The blinding light created a book, and that book levitated into the air. It was peculiar enough until that mysterious book began to transform.
A pair of legs, arms were formed, as well as a chest and head. Long, shimmering and golden hair flowed gracefully down to the being's feet. Orbs of mystical blue opened with orange lips' corners smiling upwards.
In mere seconds, a literal golden woman levitated in front of them. With a bright smile now revealed, she exclaimed a sentence in a welcoming tone. "Welcome, weary travelers!"
"Who..Who are you..?" Odette asked the mystical being before her. The unknown identity giggled and hovered around the group, observing them before stopping to answer the princess' answer. "My name is Aexirl, the Embodiment of Knowledge." The mystical being introduced herself, opening her arms to allow the magic inside her to flow away and give life to the full library.
Dusty or destroyed books renewed itself. Broken shelves, stairs, and pillars were rebuilt along with the cracked floors and walls. The windows that were full of dust mites were cleaned away and revealed itself to be a stained window that showed pictures of warriors, goddesses and gods, histories, and unknown identities.
The massive library that looked like it was abandoned since the beginning of time was quickly bought to life by this mystical being.
"Hm, I've lived my whole life in studying countless spells, magical histories, and powerful identities. However, I have never heard of nor seen the Embodiment of Knowledge in one of my many collections of Ylden Hystroias." Winslow stated, looking around at his surroundings with an astonished expression all over his face.
Aexirl chuckled at the mortals before her who are unfamiliar towards her existence. "Ah, that is because I exist in everywhere!" She replied, flying towards to the large chandelier made out of crystals that hang above her heads.
When she got close to the chandelier, she touched its icy surface. Her hand slipped through, but it didn't pass the other end.
Only after feeling that she had grabbed something, Aexirl pulled her hand out along with the item that she had seized inside the chandelier. If one looked closely, they could identify that it was a large book with a golden crescent on the center, appearing to be a lock.
Aexirl descended down, her silver robes fluttering as she did. "I consider you all to have been favored by the Goddess of Fortune to be able to find this ancient library." She smiled faintly, holding the aircraft book that she got from the chandelier tightly.
"May I ask why?" Odette questioned. Curiosity could be seen sparkling inside her eyes. The mystical being let out a soft chuckle out of her orange painted lips. "Well, no one has ever found this priceless domain ever since the Great War," Aexirl answered, raising one of her hands towards her own chin. "Hm, most likely a couple hundred years ago? Not all realms shares the same time though, so it may be confusing." She added before a smile swept across her golden face. "Now, I will grant you group of mortals an answer that that only exists in the past. For the future, you haven't deemed yourselves worthy of knowing a part of it." She stated, leaving a chilling tone at the end of her sentence.
The small group thought for a moment, but nothing important came across their minds. "Got anything?" Claire asked Angela who was standing besides her. The little android shook her head, though she wanted to know where her father could be. But that would be rather selfish and so, she refused to speak up. "How about you?" Angela asked Claire the same question, but shook her head as her answer. "Not at all!" Claire added. But even if she wanted to ask to know about her forgotten past, she was somewhat afraid of knowing and wanted another member to ask instead since she didn't feel worthy.
When the Embodiment of Knowledge saw that the group is too afraid and re-thinking, her heart silently giggled; he break their silent moment, she decided to speak once again. "You all can explore this ancient library while you are thinking for an answer. However, I must warn you all to not flip the pages of any glowing books." With that, the golden colored woman glowed brightly before disappearing without a single trace.
"Mhm, we all indeed should explore for the meantime. Perhaps we can find our individual answers inside one of the acceptable books." Winslow spoke up. Everyone nodded his or her heads as an agreement and went on their separate ways, besides Lancelot and Odette that is.
They walked up to the set of marble spiral stairs that reached the highest floor which even if they did lift their heads, they could not see the end of the staircase. So, the two firmly decided that they would go to the second floor.
Both saw tall wooden shelves after shelves, all of course full of books. "This library is more massive than the Fable's Graenda Lyferiery." Odette commented, her eyes awestruck towards the fact that this building is so massive. Compare a large castle as the size of a town to this library; the ancient library would without a doubt win since it is twice as large. However, it seemingly looked as if it is endless.
"Indeed, m'lady. Fortunately for everyone, no one will get lost since signs are showing what every shelf is." Lancelot replied, his eyes observing the large structure's interiors, especially a large female statue built at the middle of the spiral staircase. Her crystal carved head reaching until the fifth floor.
The Swan Princess noticed that Lancelot was looking at the tall statue, she also examined as well and felt even more amazed towards this building. She thought it was just a colossal pillar, but now that she has a bit of perspective; she too also saw that it is a maiden.
"Who could that be? The founder of this intriguing place?" Odette questioned, her eyes trying to decipher the statue's details, but the structure was too big, and she could only identify that the female statue is wearing a long, silk-like dress.
"M'lady, I think that large, horizontal tablet has words carved into it," Lancelot mentioned, pointing at a marble block built nearby the glass fences at the edges of the floor. When the Swan Princess turned her head towards the marble block, curiosity instantly struck her. "Let us go towards it!" She exclaimed with eagerness, quickly grabbing her knight's hand and pulled him towards to the piece of block.
There are indeed words carved into it, but most of the words were in a peculiar language. So, they could only read some of the parts of the sentences. "Lady Lunox, the Twilight Goddess. Falling into an everlasting sleep to end the battle between Chaos and Order. However, even in eternal sleep, her destiny pulls her to the forgotten Twilight Orbs." Odette read the words that she could understand; the rest were unknown and indecipherable to her and her precious knight.
"How interesting, m'lady. Is she the one who perhaps extinguished the fire of the Great War?" Lancelot questioned, amazement could be seen in his sapphire eyes. "Most likely not. The beings like your parents would not be titled as Legends if she was the one who ended the bloodshed." Odette answered.
She lifted her head, her orbs gazing at the female statue's face; sadly she could not tell how she exactly looked like from below.
"You are absolutely right, m'lady. Shall we go look at these ancient books?" Her knight suggested. The Swan Princess lowered her head and turned it to look at fellow beloved knight that stood beside her. "Mhm, yes. Let's go." She accepted his suggestion with a lovely smile.
The two began walking towards the wooden shelves and away from the towering statue. They lifted their heads time to time so they can look at the signs which indicated what contents lie within the books standing straight inside the shelves.
However, one sign caught the princess' eyes, and that was the subject called the Elven History. In all of her years inside a beautiful cage that is her castle, she has always wanted to see an elf in real life. She could only hear stories of them and how they excelled in healing others.
Moreover, she now has these ancient books to answer some question of hers.
Odette walked to the first shelf of Elven History books. Her slender fingers gently touched one of the the hard book covers. This particular book that she touched is made out of dark amber wood with golden edges and curved lines. When she grabbed it out, the book revealed a symbol of the moon made out of aquamarine, and around the symbol are words carved besides it, most likely the title.
The appearance of this particular book instantly captivated the princess into opening it, but the gemstone emitted a luminescence glow of pure blue. She immediately thought of what that golden woman had told her.
It would not hurt to open the book, would it? Perhaps if she accidentally dropped the book, it will open itself? No! Odette quickly declined all of those silly ideas. What was she thinking?
The Swan Princess could only sigh, looking at the book with downcast eyes before placing it back to where it came.
Unfortunately, she hurried her action in placing back the book, and that made it fall towards the marble floors.
It opened, and before she could know it, her surroundings turned into pure white.
Odette's eyes widened in confusion and regrets. She could not believe that she was so clumsy as to failing to place a book back. She was a princess for crying out loud! Moreover, a daughter of the Swans. If they find out that she made such a humiliating mistake, Odette would never come out of her room for months.
"Hello?" She called out, but it only echoed in this oblivion-like place. The princess began to panic, but she did allow herself to lose her calm composure.
She straightened her back and took a few deep breaths before walking ahead, her heels' clicking on the empty floor below. She decided to wait for someone to reply to her call, but no one answered.
The silence was too eerie, slowly taking apart her calm mind. She was about to break down until her surroundings began to construct itself into a scene.
Where she was standing transformed into a balcony of a castle, and in front of a castle lies a large kingdom that stretched into the horizons full of grassy meadows, fields, and houses.
Then suddenly, poof! A figure of a man wearing a silky, long gown-like outfit with a bit of armor popped out beside her. The sudden appearance made the unfortunate little princess yelp out of surprise.
She also took a few steps back out of fear as she did not know what was going on or what may happen.
"Long ago, there was a young Elven prince. His heart was like gold and his mind is as wiser as a mystical owl." A female voice spoke in a narrated manner. It almost sounds like the golden woman, Odette thought firmly, her eyes still locked at the male figure in front of her.
Curiously, she decided to move closer to it and even said hello, but the person did not return the greet. So, she decided to face him and poke him to see if he is there.
When the Swan Princess had the Elven prince in front of her view, she saw that he is very handsome and gave off a charming and mysterious vibe! However, she very much preferred Lancelot more than this stranger.
Odette reached her hand towards to his shoulder, slowing extending her index finger to poke his skin, but when she almost made contact, her finger slipped pass through and only left some sort of mist. This moment caused the princess to leap away due to surprise.
"His name is Elion, the son of the Elven King, Vyriegn," The female voice added. Elion, clearly the prince of the Elven Kingdom, stood in arrogance and pride as he looked at the kingdom before him.
Without warning, the scenery disappeared into the fog, and that fog transformed into a forest as well as a large building.
Odette silently watched as everything changed. It was like a story, only you were inside it and completely invisible to the characters and plot. "Their kingdom's borders were about to be destroyed by the Abyss, so Elion decided to search for the group called the Order of Light."
Elion on top of a horse appeared out of the fog, he leaped down and walked towards the entrance of the building.
"When he was about to knock, the wooden door suddenly opened up, revealing a woman with purplish skin and blue hair. It was in fact, a Dark Elf." The narrator spoke.
Odette continued to spectate, looking at the two elves who leaped away from each other, holding their weapons tightly as they were about to initiate a fight. However, another person came out, her hair scarlet and her eyes pretty blue. She immediately took notice of the Elven Prince and bowed, making the Dark Elf bow with her as well.
The Dark Elf could only grunt as she was told to go back inside the building. The scarlet-haired woman said to Elion that the Dark Elf is one of her allies and won't hurt anyone from the Light.
The Elven Prince decided to trust her words, going inside the building with her.
"The young prince asked the Order of Light's leader, Leon, to accept his request of helping them fight in the battlefield. Moreover, of course, the humble leader agreed to the selfless prince's offer." The narrator continued, the scenery turning into fog once again.
This time, the scenery turned into a training ground, the female Dark Elf from before was interestingly training with the Elven Prince. "The two became partners by the leader's words. Leon said that it was to build trust and to understand that not all of your race's enemy race are your enemies." The narrator spoke, causing the two elves to engage in a duel.
They seemed to be dancing without stepping on each other's foot. They were swift, fast, accurate with each of their attacks.
"Not too long, the match ended with Katrina, the female Dark Elf, winning the duel. Both of the elves did a handshake before going to the healer together. Slowly forming a bond called friendship." The narrator sweetly spoke.
The Swan Princess looked at the two elves, feeling like this was heading straight towards romance. She did not mind though; she was beginning to like the story.
The scenery changed like a slip. The skies darkened and large, tall trees were formed. Multiple Abyss soldiers appeared, and that is when Odette quietly gasped. They looked immensely intimidating! "The two elves were assigned to assassinate a group of scouts. Their first mission together as a pair." The narrator spoke briefly.
Elion climbed on top of a tree's branch while Katrina stayed low on the ground. The Elven Prince silently pulled out his bow, an arrow appearing on his hand.
He aimed his weapon towards the farthest guard and fired. It shot directly at the poor soul's head, silently ending his life. Elion did this many times until all of the guards who were patrolling were dead.
He signaled Katrina to dive into the tents to kill the scout's group leader. Moreover, so the female Dark Elf did.
Footsteps as light as feathers ran towards to the tent entrance. Katrina dived inside and kicked the nearest soldier to her on the head, immediately swinging her leg to the left to knock out the other near soldier to the ground.
Raising her blades, Katrina slashed the group leader without a second to lose, decapitating his torso in halves before leaving the tent.
Odette thankfully didn't see the scene as she was looking at Elion, not daring enough to see of what happened inside the tent.
Again, the scenery changed. The sky was lit up by the sun, and the environment was lovelier and azure. The two elves showed up again, but the Dark Elf's stomach was rather large. The unexpected scene caused Odette to gasp in shock before letting out an aw as well as forming a warm smile.
"After the war ended, the new couple was receiving a baby from the Gods. The Elven Prince that was going to become King has never been so happy in his entire life. They were also going to name their child, Estes. Moreover, so, the new family lived a happy ending." The narrator's voice as warm and lovely like the sun gave warmth to Odette's chest.
However, a thought lingered inside her mind. Wasn't the Prince of the Elven Kingdom in her current era shares the same name? Perhaps, this is Prince Estes' parents?
When the princess thought that everything would end and that she will most likely be sent back to the library, the narrator strangely continued. "Or so, that should have been their ending..." A melancholy voice echoed, leaving a cold sensation to Odette.
The scenery changed once more; the sky is now filled with stormy clouds and lightning struck the land.
The princess found herself inside a house and saw that Katrina was peacefully sleeping on her bed. Elion should be with her, but it was another person instead. A darkly hooded being that couldn't hide their female figure.
She pulled out her bow, which made Odette instinctively come forward to try and stop her, but just like earlier, her hands slipped through and so, there was nothing that she could do...
"No, don't hurt her! She is harmless!" Odette yelled at the female figure, but no matter how much she spoke, the hooded woman was not able to hear her pleading words.
Once the hooded woman fired her bow, the arrow struck at the womb of the woman. Katrina let out a gasp, her eyes widening from the sudden explosion of pain. She looked down, her womb...her child and herself had been struck by an arrow.
"You..." A husky voice spoke, full of sorrow, regrets, and wrath. Elion had just arrived home from the council of Elves. Moreover, what scene welcomed him, was the dead body of his wife and child.
He quickly launched himself towards the hooded woman with a thundering roar. A dagger by his hands, he tried to stab the woman, but she grabbed both of his hands to prevent the blade from reaching her neck.
The woman was struggling in this situation, so she decided to escape it by kicking him away and throwing her hood at him. However, the Elven Prince dodged, and what truth revealed to him was startling.
The hooded woman was Ju-long's fiancé, Mia.
"You...traitor!" Elion spoke loudly, about to attack Mia again until she quickly jumped out of the window, leaving the shattered glass on the floor.
"The poor Elven Prince did not decide to chase her away. He walked over to the body of his wife and child and quickly pulled out the arrow, healing her wound with all of his power. However, sadly, his wife and child could not make it." The narrator depressingly spoke.
Odette was crying inside her heart. She was helpless and couldn't do anything, but she truly wished that could have she prevented the death of Katrina and her child.
Once again, the scene changed. This time, it was inside a large and beautiful castle of the Elves.
"Elion carried his wife's body to the sacred place of the whole Elven realm. The boundary of which the Moonlight Elves and their Moon Deities were split. He carefully laid down Katrina's body on the marble floor before kneeling on his knees, raising his head to look at the Moon God and Goddess before him." The narrator spoke, while Odette continued to listen carefully while being amazing at her surroundings.
Sapphire and pure white flowers surrounded them. The leaves and grass gave off a vibrant, green color and the floor was sparkling like the bright, crystal waters flowing out of the sky that didn't show any clear ends.
"Please, my heavenly Gods, bring back my wife and child. They did not deserve any injustice!" Elion pleaded in a desperate and melancholic tone.
"The Moon God rejected his request without a word and left, while the Moon Goddess walked closer to him with a pitiful look." The narrator spoke again. "Prince Elion of the Moonlight Elves. I am afraid we cannot resurrect back your beloved ones," The Moon Goddess spoke in a soft and silky condition, but that did not persuade the grieving prince to get them to resurrect back his beloved ones. "Please, I will do anything! Even if it is just one day..." He cried, but the Goddess before him shook her head with a frown on her mystical face. "I am sorry, but you have to move on." She said before disappearing into the light.
Their unwillingness to help his wife and child caused a spark inside his heart, an endless wrath that couldn't be detained or settled, not until he gets back his loved ones to life.
So, out of desperation, he decided to use one of the darkest spells sang by the ancients.
"The Ancient Spell of Resurrection was forbidden by everyone to use, especially the Moonlight Race. However, Elion did not care about anything anymore; he only cared about getting them back." The narrator added, a hint of disappointment in her voice.
The Swan Princess quietly watched as Elion closed his eyes and took a deep breath. She listened to a song that she could not understand but felt fear from it. However, she did not want to look away and continued to spectate. "The Elven Prince's hair turned dark like the emptiest night. The darkness of the spell devoured his pure heart, and soul and so, he was not the one as he was anymore. As he waited there in silence, waiting for weeks, days, months...His loved ones never returned to him." The narrator sadly spoke before everything blacked out for Odette.
"Will the same thing happen to him?"
Meanwhile, in another realm. Hilda sighed in regrets as she watched the young, female Smilodon and her brother disappear from her sight. "She did not believe your words?" Lapu-Lapu questioned. Well, he has to agree that it was a bit too far. Honestly, it is incredibly uncomfortable and sort of rude to say that their sibling will probably die to a stranger who just saved you. However, Lapu-Lapu cannot tell that to a woman now, can he?
The warrior woman sighed, standing up to her feet. "I foresaw a vision that her brother will be in great danger if she does not make the right choices. At war against the Abyss." She replied, a frown overtaking her face.
The chieftain patted his friend's back, trying to comfort her. "Some people cannot handle the future and the truth. However, I am sure that woman and her brother will survive together," He assured. "Now, shall we leave this magical place?" He asked to see if Hilda was ready to leave or not.
She nodded as expected, appreciating this comfort from her new ally. "Of course, let us go to another place to hunt for food." She answered.
The chief and the warrior continued their journey. They luckily found fruits on their way out of the forest. The fruits were delicious and juicy, decreasing their hunger for the meantime.
The two walked across logs, climbed a steep hill and went finishing on a river. Lapu-Lapu taught Hilda how to create spears. He grabbed two, longs sticks, one for himself and the other for his ally. He pulled out a short blade from his bag and began to shape the edges of the rods until they were sharp.
"Hilda, let us have a small competition," Lapu-Lapu suggested, perking up the ears of the female warrior and sparking up her curiosity. "Fishing competition?" Hilda guessed.
The chieftain nodded to tell her that she was correct. "Yes, whoever has fewer fishes caught shall fry all of the fishes and allow the winner to eat most of the cooked fishes." He announced the prize, which Hilda found fair and gave no objections.
The two went inside the rushing waters of the river, looking rather hungrily at the fishes. "Ready..." Lapu-Lapu was beginning to countdown.
The woman warrior held her spear tightly, looking at the fishes swimming nearby them. "Go!" The chief yelled, and with that, their little competition began.
Hilda quickly caught as many fishes as she can. Using both of her stick's edges and then plucking out both of the fishes to stab another pair.
The chieftain did the same tactic; there was also a look of amusement on his face. This little fellow was actually doing her best in winning this competition!
Unfortunately, their momentum was cut off by the disruptive sound of the bush moving.
The two out of instinct leaped out of the river and held their spears in a defensive posture.
A tall and sturdy man came out of the trees, waving awkwardly at the two. "Forgive me; I did not mean to disturb. I was on my way back to my realm until I heard the loud splashing of waters." He spoke calmly.
A golden helmet with black material stood on his head. He wore a black-tinted steel armor on his chest with a golden collar that has a ruby on the middle. There is also this standing out golden octogram on the middle of his torso armor.
The mysterious man wore a pair of black harem pants and sandal for the lower part of his body as he carried massive-sized twin gauntlets made out of gold. It was sculpted into some sort of face with gems, which made it eye-catching.
"No worries," Lapu-Lapu reassured as he lowered his spear. Hilda did the same, as to not look like a threat. "Are you two traveling or are from here?" The mysterious man asked. "We are travelers, searching for food in the meantime," Hilda answered briefly.
"Ah, I see. Well, if you two are ever in need of gold, you can trade in the Pandava Clan." He informed. "Ah, where is it exactly?" Lapu-Lapu asked a bit intrigued.
The tall man pointed at the other side of the river. "It is just up ahead if you walk straight. I can guide you travelers there if you would like to trade now." He said, indicating to them that because of their little competition, they have gathered quite a lot of fishes inside the baskets that they made earlier.
"Of course, it is getting late anyway. I hope that we are not troubling you too much." Hilda stated with a faint smile, walking over to the baskets to carry a few of them.
The mysterious man let out a laugh, walking over to the two. "There is no trouble. It is one of my duty to help people." He replied.
"I am Lapu-Lapu and this Hilda. May we ask for your name?" Lapu-Lapu politely asked with a hint of interest. "My name is Gatot Kaca; it is nice meeting you both."
In the darkest realm, the King from the outside world let out a low laugh. "Such a miserable and welcoming place..." He muttered, his voice echoing throughout the lone throne room.
"This dull world needs a bit of a show!" He exclaimed, striking the ground with his strong staff.
Above the Dark realm, multiple large aircraft hovering on the sky appeared before the Land of Dawn. The lower part of the aircraft opened up and set out planes to fly out to attack the enemy from above.
Moreover, if you look closely, a galactic alien monstrosity also fell off from the opening of the aircraft.
Their mouths were large with a set of pointed teeth, and their amber red orbs looked demonic. Their backs formed spikes, and their claws looked like it can shred a being into pieces.
That is not all; a large orbiting orb was levitating among the intimidating aircraft.
Without warning, that orb amassed a large amount of magical power until it blasted a part of the Land of Dawn.
This shook every realms present and caused a disruption to nearby worlds, warning them all that a powerful being has decided to show up and create a catalyst for all of them to suffer.
With a laugh, Zhask, the King of the Kastiyans heard the destructive explosion from above. Indicating that a good show is preparing about to begin. "Run, little ants, but know that you cannot hide."
