Lolita's eyes widened after seeing three large bombs flying towards to her direction. Those bombs came out of the large floating ship that is now flying fast towards to the City of Scholars. Ready to destroy the city's walls. "Lolita!" Bruno suddenly screamed her name as he quickly ran towards to her as fast as he possibly can. Allowing himself to stop and rest once he got close to the steel elf. "Call Johnson to come pick you up. We don't have much time! Evacuate as many beings as you can!" Bruno instructed. Saying his words between heavy breaths. "What about you? The bombs are gonna hit the wall soon, you can't stay here!" Lolita grabbed one of his arms tightly. She didn't look like she was gonna let go of him. If Bruno wasn't going to leave with her. Then she's not going to leave him behind no matter what.

Her eyes turned towards to the three bombs. One of them getting immediately shot down. Lolita watched a swiftly flying figure fly towards to the two remaining bombs. Quickly using their swords to make the bombs explode in mid-air. She quickly identified them as Fanny. Who else could do such a thing like that? Fanny is the only well-known being that can fly by only using her ropes as if it were her own wings. Sure, she has requested custom mechanical wings from Saber and he gladly accepted it and made her a pair. But Fanny still uses her ropes because she felt more comfortable with it.
Lolita lifted one of her hands and pointed at the flying assassin for Bruno to notice. "Look! Fanny is helping us!" She sounded almost way too happy. Fanny was being an ally to them-she was helping them even though she is a traitor. She was oddly quickly changing, getting out of her cage and breaking those strings that once held her down.

Bruno turned himself to face the direction where Lolita was pointing at. His eyes slightly widening from the surprising sight that it was Fanny who is really the one that destroyed those three bombs before they could hit the walls. All though he didn't see her do it. He believed in Lolita.
They both watched as she leaped up and landed on the ship. Her face grim and looked like someone pissed her off. "Is she gonna fight all of those beings on that ship?!" The steel elf asked Bruno in an anxious voice. He is quite certain that Fanny can kick a bunch of asses any day since he saw her intensely train once with Saber.

Speaking of that damned assassin. A figure flew towards to the ship at a fast speed. Bruno scoffed in silence. Already identifying who they are. "You should go and evacuate the citizens with Johnson. I'll catch up to you guys later." He told Lolita who gradually let go of his arm. She suddenly jumped without notice to reach his cheek. Pressing her lips gently against his brown skin to give him a small kiss. This made Bruno's eyes wide. His cheeks slightly turning red. "Hey! Don't look at me like that. You could never know if I'll ever do that again." The steel elf grumbled rather cutely. She couldn't help but blush as well, hers obviously pinkish.
Bruno allowed himself to smile, his hand cupping one of her small, pinkish cheeks. His fingers gently grazing her soft skin. "We'll both stay alive and get everyone in this city to safety. Don't think that we'll never meet again." He softly spoke. Feeling Lolita's cheeks grow warm by his touch.

The steel elf smiled awkwardly before taking a few steps backward. "W-Well! I have to go protect the citizens! Be safe!" She bid her goodbye and ran off inside the elevator. Lolita pressed the ground floor button and watched as the elevators' doors slid closed until she could no longer see Bruno smiling at her. The elevator gradually went down. Opening its doors once it arrived at the ground floor. Lolita walked outside and saw a large, male figure talking to a group of guards. He turned his head to look at the steel elf. A smile forming on their face. "Hello, Lolita!" Johnson greeted her. Saying good bye to the guards before walking over to the young elf tank. "Hi, Johnson. We have to quickly evacuate as much citizens as we can." Lolita quickly greeted back. Not wanting to waste a single minute. "Woah, they're gonna take down this huge wall?" An unfamiliar, male voice spoke.

Lolita turned herself towards the direction where the voice came from. Her eyes slightly widening upon seeing a large panda smiling at her. "I've heard they have large bombs ready to hit us. I can drop you off to the safe center nearest to the Protectors' Headquarters, Akai. I'm sure Nana is there already with her friend." Johnson answered the panda whose name is Akai. "Thanks, pal!" The panda smiled cheerfully. Patting the large transformer on the back. "You're welcome, now. Let's go!" Johnson quickly allowed himself to transform into a car. Opening the doors to allow Lolita and Akai to get inside. The steel elf went inside first, Akai following her afterward. He closed the door shut after going inside. Johnson started to move after the panda had closed his doors. Driving fast towards to their destination. "You're the famous Lolita, right? They say you're the strongest tank in this realm! Gosh, I'm so lucky to be sitting right besides you!" Akai let out a golly laugh out of his chubby body. In Lolita's eyes, he somehow resembled that fictional guy that brings gifts to children in Christmas Day. She let herself smile, pulling out her phone out of her shorts' pockets. "Oh, I'm not that powerful. They're just exaggerating because I possess the almighty Noumenon Energy Core." Lolita replied. Quickly sending a lot-or a pile of texts to Bruno through a chat app.

Johnson is driving us to a safe center.
A large panda guy is sitting besides me.

Akai looked over curiously, wondering what this small piece of glass is and what the steel elf is doing with it. So he decided to ask her. "What is that thing? Magic?" Lolita almost choked herself. She's been encountering beings with no knowledge of a smart phone! It was quite triggering her nerves. It was like talking to someone about your favorite ships but they don't even know what a ship is. "It's not magic. It's what we call smart phones and cell phones. But we just call it phones for short. We use it to communicate people easily. Also, you can take pictures, watch videos, and play games in it." She explained briefly to the panda who just looked awestruck at her phone. Suddenly it vibrated, making him jump back a little. "It can move?!" He gasped in shock. "Nah, my boyfr-I mean! My friend just replied back to my texts" Lolita laughed awkwardly. Clicking on her notification quickly to check out Bruno's reply.

Lolita, please. I'm still alive.

Lolita sighed in relief and then grumbled after seeing Bruno's text about him begging her to stop spamming his notifications. But once she saw his last reply, her cheeks slightly turned red. She couldn't help herself but to reply back to him.

You too! The person that makes my heart scream goal!

She has to admit to herself silently that the reply is cringe-worthy. But she couldn't think of any unique nicknames or something sweet to call him. Ugh, way to go Lolita. Maybe I should just have called him Baby? No, baby is too weird, he's a grown man. What about Babe? It's just the same with baby. Sweetheart or darling? Both are too common. Lolita was deeply and seriously thinking of what nickname she should give to Bruno that she didn't realize that they have arrived in their destination. "Yo, Lolita. You look serious. Something the matter?" Johnson asked. Waiting for the steel elf to slip outside so he can transform back to his humanoid form. Meanwhile Akai was already outside, his stomach grumbling for it was craving for food. He must've missed dinner. Lolita quickly placed her phone inside one of her shorts' pockets and slid out. Allowing Johnson to quickly revert back to his human form. "Sorry, I was deeply thinking about something. Anyway, let's go inside the safe center." Lolita said, walking towards to the entranced the safe center. It's automatic doors slid open once she got close. Allowing her to enter. Johnson and Akai quietly followed behind her.

There were a lot of people inside. It was nearly crowded. Everyone almost looked terrified. Some were crying, whispering to themselves or talking to another being about what disaster may happen. "Wow, finding Nana is almost like finding a needle in the ocean." Akai mumbled to himself. His eyes widening from the sight of how many people there were inside the safe center.

But once they finally noticed the steel elf. A breeze of relief brushed over to them. "We're evacuating the city. Guards and protectors please maintain and support the people as we exit the city. Everyone should stay calm." Lolita instructed. All of the guards and protectors in this safe center obeying her instructions. They all lead the citizens and other beings form other realms out of the safe center and towards to an emergency exit of the City of Scholars.

Akai looked around at the beings as he called out Nana's name continuously. He hasn't gotten a reply yet. Worrisome thoughts and anxiety began to fill him. If Nana wasn't in this safe center. Then she could be lost somewhere or in another safe center. He sincerely and deeply hopes that she's all right with her friend by her side.

In the process of getting the citizens towards to the emergency exit of the City of Scholars. Beings from other safe centers were going through the exit. There were a lot of them. Most of their faces in despair or in grief. To leave their only home so suddenly was heartbreaking. Lolita could feel all of their pain and sorrows. She began to recall her home suddenly going into war and got destroyed. By her own kind. It was confusing and felt like betrayal. She was the only survivor in her village and she has no clear evidence that her own kind did destroy her home. But she saw it so clearly. Still remembering how everything fell apart. Flames emerged on the ground and buildings collapsed until they were nothing but segments. Soldiers well armed and armored marched in her village and destroyed everything. Because they did not get what they wanted.

Lolita was young back then. Did not understand why her own kind would kill their own blood. Her mother luckily carried her away when their men were attacking the enemy. She unfortunately got got shot on the stomach. But a mother's will and love was stronger than steel. She still continued to run and carried her daughter until they were far away. Lolita's mother allowed herself to place her down and collapse on the grassy field. Looking at her daughter, glad that she is away from the bloody battle.
   The steel elf watched as her mother smiled at her as her bullet wound continued to pour blood out. She weakly reached for her daughter's cheeks and cupped it lovingly. Then whisperingly spoke. "Mother will always love you." Lolita could never forget those last words of her mother. She remembered hugging her tightly. Crying her hearts out for she didn't want her mother to leave her.

A sudden sound of an explosion of a bomb disturbed Lolita while she was recalling her past. Beings immediately screamed and quickly ran through the exit without hesitation. Some of the guards and protectors helped them evacuate fast. The others going towards to the spot where the bomb had destroyed the wall. Lolita follow them. It was exactly the spot where Bruno was at.

Her heart raced anxiously. She was sweating so hard. Flashing images of Bruno laying dead on the ground continuously haunting her. Lolita couldn't believe it. He must be alive, he got to be! He promised that they would go on a date. She ran as fast as she can. Her heart stopping for a moment.

She dropped down to her tired knees after running so fast. Tears quickly forming on the corner of her eyes. It fell down like hot streams. She couldn't believe it. Bruno was laying on the ground. His eyes closed shut as blood poured out of his injured head. "N-No...Bruno..." She spoke in a raspy voice. Crawling towards to him. Lolita wrapped her arms around him and pulled him closer to her chest. She allowed his blood to flow down to her clothes, she didn't mind it.

"Here I thought I would be having a bad time in finding you, steel elf. I'm sorry your boyfriend died. Saber requested me to kill you both." A sharp and deep voice of a man spoke.
Lolita gradually turned her head towards to the direction where the voice came from. Fires began to blaze in her eyes as she watched the male figure's identity slowly get revealed as the smoke began to disappear.

She gently and carefully placed Bruno down and stood up to her feet. Clenching both of her iron fisted hands. "You fucking dared to kill him..." She lost her gentleness. Lost her mercy and thoughts that even the baddest person can be good. "I'm sorry, are you sad? I can end that sadness if you want." Bane let out a sinister laugh. Glancing at Lolita as if she was a mere weakling trying to look brave. He looked in her eyes and saw pure hatred and wrath. She wasn't going to forgive him.

"The only thing that's ending..." Lolita stopped her sentence. Instantly dashing towards to Bane to punch his face as hard as she can. Causing him to get knocked off and fall towards to the ground. "Is you!" She said loudly in anger. Her heart feeling like it was about to explode into fragments. She panted heavily, looking at the pirate captain who groaned in agony. Lolita slowly walked over to him. Her eyes becoming murderous. "I'll end your life, slowly."
