Fire

I frowned. I have no idea when this fight would be over, but I'm getting bored every second. But I really wonder about her power. Well she's not using her own, she's using the one that she copied and stole. 

I look around, only to see Lune and the others fighting with their Ancient animals. That must be frustrating. Ancient animals are like their best bud, they trained together and they become their companion in life. 

I turn my gaze to Devina, she looks so entertained watching them dodging attacks and never attempting to fight back. They can't hurt them, and even if they wanted to, they can't because their powers are restricted. They can't do anything about it.

"K-ken.." I saw Sena lying on the floor with blood stains on her dress and minor bruises on her arms and leg. 

"What have you done to my dragon?" Lune asked through gritted teeth. He looks furious like he could literally set her on fire. 

"Kylla!" Before she falls on the floor, Onyx caught her on his arms and carried her.

They were all looking at me hopelessly, like I'm the only one who could help them. I rolled my eyes. I just wanted them to learn how to be humble. No matter how strong you are, you should never boast. They should never let their guard down because of the thought that they are already strong.

"Playtime's over, Devina." I've noticed her creating a magic circle for a portal to leave here soon, but in just a snap of my fingers, her magic circle vanished and she panicked.

It took her a few seconds to realize that the necklace she's wearing is no longer in her possession. The necklace where she hides their gems were gone, now she had no choice but to use her own power.

"H-how..." I shrugged. 

She look dumbfounded for a moment, but then her facial expressions changed. She raised her right hand and pointed at me, I immediately went flying in the air. I tried to lift myself up but I can't. 

Gravitational Manipulator, huh.

"Playtime is over Devina." She was startled so I grabbed the chance to come in front of her in just a blink of an eye. I snatched her necklace where she hides the gems and throw it on the ground which caused the gems to glow and return to their respective owners.

I look at her with a smug look on my face. Now she really must've use her real power because she don't have those gems anymore. She pointed me using her fingers and I automatically went flying in the air.

"Bring me down" I  said flatly. She motioned her hands and tried to push me against the wall. I stared at her, and she suddenly floated in the air. 

I took a red box in my pocket. It was was given by my mom. She used to say once I opened it in front of an evil entity, it will be forced to get swallowed inside and locked up for eternity as long you want. 

I opened it in front of her and on cue, she was being sucked inside. She was screaming, cursing me nonstop. Into my irritation, I forcefully threw the box on the floor which caused a minor explosion.

"That Bitch!" Sena exclaimed through gritted teeth.

"Is she dead?" Onyx came closer to see the result of the explosion.

"Why do you like her?" Kylla scoffed.

"Why would I like her? Besides, I like you!" And then they went through their yapping monikers. 

They probably like each other, but one just needs to do the first move and confess sincerely. If not, they would just end up being denial about it. Poor hopeless romantic souls. 

"Gosh! Fire! I'm so glad to see you again!" I closed my eyes when I heard her shrieking in delight. She was jumping in one place while pouting. She sure looks cute with that pouting face, but her voice was irritating. 

"Will you shut it?" I asked as I look at them one by one. That's when I noticed they were not able to make an eye contact with me. 

"Fire...S-sorry about what I said earlier." Kendrick apologized. I nod my head in response.

"H-hindi kasi talaga namin alam. We were too naive!" Even Sena admitted her mistake and smiled at me apologetically. 

Then they started apologizing to me. My stare landed on the only person who was just standing still looking at me as if he wanted to say something but none escapes from his mouth.

Xai Lune Alcantara, the biggest fool in town.

"I'm..." I raised an eyebrow and stepped a foot forward to approach him.

"I'm s-sorry..." I smirked mentally when I saw him lightly bowing his head offering me his sincerest apology. 

Instead of answering him, I walked passed him and went in the corner to give Jaszy and Josh a small tap on their heads. They were smiling at me from ear to ear as if they were so proud of what they did.

"Just to be clear, we aren't traitors. Sadyang nalaman lang namin ito nang mas maaga. Ate Linne, chocolates ko ha?" Josh have this dreamy eyes talking about the chocolates I owe him for keeping their silence.

I look around only to see everyone was still frozen. I nearly forgot about them. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, everything came back to normal.

"Let's go I'm tired." I said and picked up the book I saw in the floor.

Where did this came from? 

I look at the cover of the book. It was designed with old pearls and ancient runes. My forehead knotted. As far as I know we are far from the library. I silently opened it  read it as I walk.

"The chosen is cold, mysterious, clever, merciless, and powerful. The unpredictable and catalyst of light that can foresee the past and future. However, there is one thing she cannot foresee nor predict..." I guess there's always a weakness for everyone. 

"That is, her heart towards his."
