YN POV

YN: Well, so much for sneaking- oof.

I was punch to the face by a short guy name Stonefell while I'm in a cell. My weapons were taken when I got captured. You're probably wondering how I got captured, let's look back to the beginning, shall we?

3 hours earlier, 3rd POV

After they see their fake selves hanged by the sun tree, they went looking for Keeper Yennen. She led them to one of the old resistance hideout.

Scanlan: Hey, I'm a huge fan of taverns, but this place kind of looks like shit.

Yennen: Looks can be deceiving.

She then opens the a secret door. Once they enter, they made it to the basement.

Scanlan: No, its, uh...its shitty on the inside, too.

YN: Would you want to stay outside with those zombie giants?

Scanlan: On second thought, this is nice.

Yennen: An old resistance hideout. We can speak freely here.

Grog notice there's barrels of ale and he quickly grab a mug before getting ale.

Grog: (Smiles.) Yes!- wait.

Grog opens it but nothing came out.

Grog: (Groan.) Wait.

Grog breaks it open but nothing and does the same to the other barrels and still nothing.

Grog: No. Oh, gods, no. (Yells.) WHAT IS THIS HELL!?

Yennen: Thanks to the Briarwoods, all our resources are dwindling. Including ale.

Grog: (Enrage.) I will fucking murder EVERYONE!!

Grog throws a empty barrel at the wall out of his rage.

YN: Easy Grog, once we kill the Briarwoods, we'll go get drunk later. And if that's not enough, you can kill Vax after the Briarwoods.

Vax: Hey!

Grog: Fuck yeah!

Yennen begins to explain that they needed the resistance help if they all want to win. But the resistance isn't strong enough unless they rescue the leader who's been captured. Claiming that he's set to be hanged tomorrow and the resistance leader is name Archibald Desnay which made Percy surprise.

Percy: Archie? But how?

YN: Friend of yours?

Percy: We...(Smiles.) We grew up together.

Percy explains that his father worked in the kitchen. He and Percy are best friends and raise hell all over the castle. Meanwhile Keyleth approach to a root of the Sun Tree, trying to speak to it until YN interrupted.

YN: So um, trying to speak to the tree?

Keyleth: Yeah, but for some reason, I can't hear it. As if its light is too weak.

YN: Huh.

YN looks at the tree but he sees its still alive.

YN: It looks alive. Must've been forever since the sun was blocked ever since.

Keyleth: Oh...

YN: Hey, don't worry, I'm sure there's a way.

Keyleth: You sure?

YN: Definitely. There was an old man from my world when I was a kid, he once said "The light lives in all places, in all things. You can block it even try to trap it. But in the end, the light always find its way."

Keyleth: Huh, that's...actually nice. For the dark wolf.

YN: It just needs a little help.

Back with Percy and Yennen conversation.

Yennen: You can't take the Briarwoods alone. Free Archie and the resistance to will follow.

Percy: You're playing on my emotions. (Smiles.) And I can't say I blame you.

Vex: (Smirk.) We'd be starting an uprising.

Vax: (Smirk.) This town could use some hope.

Percy: (Smirk.) Its certainly not the worst idea we've had.

Keyleth was about to shine a light towards the tree root but was interrupted by Grog by grabbing her.

Grog: Yeah! For the ale!

Scanlan: (Grin.) "Scanlan to Revolutionary" has a nice ring to it. Oh! I could get a beret!

YN: We could use all the help we can get.

Percy: We'd need a lot of luck.

Yennen: What you need is faith.

Percy: At the moment, our holy person is...elsewhere.

YN: We'll have to do this on our own then.

Short time skip

They gather the remaining of the resistance and Vex got a map to show everyone.

Vex: Yennen's sources tells us Archie is, um...Grog, give me that.

Vex snatch a bottle top from Grog before he eats it and she place it to one of the cells.

Vex: is being held here.

Keyleth: Okay, so here's my idea how to bust Archie out.

Keyleth: I'll speak to the local animals.

Keyleth: They'll fetch the jailer's keys and free our friends.

Scanlan: Eh, not so fast, fair maiden. This is a job for Scanlan the Revolutionary. My pitch: I infiltrate the prison with all these potions I found.

Scanlan: I don't know what they do yet, but let's assume they make me a...(mimics dramatic music.) One-man army.

Grog: (Chuckles.) You think too much. All we gotta do is.

Grog: Kill everyone and leave.

Vax: Uh, what about Archie?

Grog: Right.

Grog: Yeah, we kill him too.

Three of them smiles, hoping that one of their plan will work. While the rest just look at them with disappointed look.

Vax: Those were bad ideas and you should all feel bad.

YN: Not surprising Grog just wants to murder everyone.

Percy: (Smirk.) I don't know. Scanlan's solo mission sounds interesting. His failure would be spectacular.

Vex: Okay, no elaborate plans. Get in, get out. Strike like a well-thrown dagger.

Vax: I can get being that.

Vex: But if we're going to get Archie out of that prison, we need to know exactly where they're holding him.

Percy: (Grin.) I may have something that can assist.

YN: What if we can attack from the inside?

Vex: What?

YN: We can attack them from the inside, at least weaken the guards while reinforcement arrive.

Vax: Oh yeah, how do you supposed we do that.

YN said nothing but grab his knife and stab it on the map next to Archie location.

YN: I'll let them capture me. Then I'll free Archie.

Percy: Are you mad!? That place could be heavily defended.

YN: I've escaped a lot of prisons before, this won't be nothing.

Vax: What the hell did you do for that?

YN: Killing people who tried to back stabbed me in the middle of the town. Look, my point is, I can help Archie while you make your way inside.

Scanlan: How you gonna do that while stuck in a cell?

YN: Let's just say I'll ask the guards nicely.

Grog: Oh, that's not a bad idea.

Percy: (Scoff.) Really?

YN: Just trust me on this one as I trust you guys.

Vex: ....Fine. But you better not die, or else I'll sell your swords.

YN nods and he hands his equipments to them. But he was then stop by Keyleth.

Keyleth: Hey, just be careful. Okay?

YN: ...(Smirk.) Dont worry, The Dark Wolf's fangs and claws are enough.

She couldn't help but chuckles at his joke as he leaves.

Present, YN POV

And that's how I turn myself in. Right now I'm being interrogated by this shorty here.

Stonefell: Tell me, where's the rest of your group? Vox Machina.

YN: (Smirk.) Why, so ya can have sex with the machines? No offense, but you look to young and ugly for that.

I chuckle until he punched me right to the guts before punching me to the face.

Stonefell: So ya think you can act like a hero and make a joke in a story, huh? Well ya nothing in any story.

YN: Better to be nothing than being the Briarwoods lap dog. (Smirk.) If they ever care about their lap dog.

Stonefell got inpatient and start beating me up with a wood.

Stonefell: So much for being a dark dog, tell me where I can find Vox Machina!?

YN: You? Heh, for all I know, ya ain't gonna do anything rather than sending some bunch of lot doing your dirty work. Especially that ya smell like pig shit.

Stonefell had enough and he starts beating me up, soon he got tired from it.

Stonefell: Heh, you're lucky that Vedmire ain't here. But once he is, you're gonna wish you're already broken.

Stonefell then leaves the cell. Fortunately I can heal little faster than ordinary humans. Once he's gone completely, I look around and see a dwarf guy who looks to be beaten up and his left ear was torn off.

YN: Psst, hey!

I made clicking noises as I got his attention.

YN: (Whispers.) Are you Archibald Desnay?

Archie: Who's askin?

YN: (Whispers.) You're looking at him.

Archie: (Chuckles.) Yeah, I am.

YN: I'm here to get you out. My friends are on their way. You know one of them, Percy De Rolo.

Archie: (Surprise.) Percy?

YN: (Nods.) First we gotta get out of these cells.

Archie: The guard has the keys to our cells.

YN: (Smirk.) Leave that to me.

Soon the guard walks while holding the keys.

YN: Hey, buddy.

Guards: What do you want.

YN: Hand me the keys.

I use Axii spell on him and he didn't say anything as he hands me the keys before I knock him out with a punch. I approach Archie cell and open it as he gets out.

Archie: Huh, not bad.

YN: Come on, our friends should be on their way as we speak.

3rd POV

Meanwhile with Vox machina. Vex, keyleth, and Grog made their way through the front door while the rest heads towards the back door.

Grog: Hope the back door team doesn't get there first.

To back door team.

Back with the front door team, they manage to take down couple of guards along with freeing the prisoners as they made their way towards the stairs.

Vex: Upstairs.

Vex watch their back while the rest make their way up to the stairs. Soon she spotted someone and gets ready to shoot an arrow until it reveal to be the back door team.

Vax: (Sigh of relief.) Thank the gods. Wait, what's this crowd?

Vex: (Smirk.) Picked it up along the way. (Sniff sniff.) Why are you covered in piss?

Vax: Picked it up along the way.

Once they made it up stairs, they look around to find Archie and YN until they end up finding 5 of the guards.

Guards: Intruder!

They all get ready to fight but suddenly a ball roll towards the guards from behind, they spotted it and it immediately explode into a smoke. Vox Machina and the prisoners back away from the smoke. once it disappeared, it revealed that 4 of them died while the last one was being held by YN until he killed him with his hidden blade, making everyone surprised.

YN: Sheesh, what kept you guys?

Keyleth: YN, you're all right!

YN: Yeah, I also brought our friend here.

Archie was leaning by the wall due to his injuries. Percy was glad to see him alive while Grog hands YN back his weapons.

Vex: All right. We're getting out of here together.

Suddenly they hear someone laughing and they spotted Stonefell with a hammer and the guards. One of them was holding Scanlan with a blade to his neck.

Stonefell: (Evil smirk.) I'll give you this, girly. You'll at least die together. Throw down your arms, return to your cells, and maybe I'll let you live.

They didn't do anything until Stonefell order the guard to kill the gnome.

Scanlan: No, no, no, I'm too handsome to die!

Suddenly another Scanlan appear next to the guard with a smirk as they were all surprise including Vox Machina.

Scanlan: What's a guy gotta do to get some action around here?

Keyleth: (Surprised.) Scanlan?

The guard let the Scanlan go and swing at the other one, but it turns out to be a fake one as the real Scanlan runs away from them. YN couldn't help but laugh.

YN: (Laugh.) You guys got bamboozled, look at you!

Stonefell: (To the guards.) Don't just stand there! Get him!

YN wasted no time but to use magic to push them all off guard before the blue hair elf ran towards one of them and kills them.

Elf: For Whitestone!

They all charge at each other and attack. Stonefell use one of the guards as a meat shield to block the arrows. Percy carries Archie while Vax defends them.

Vax: (To Percy.) Go on. Get him out of here.

Percy nods before finding a way from the fight. YN was in the fight and notice that the guards was focusing on him.

YN: ....Fuck.

YN: Not impressed.

YN leaves and joins back to his friends.

(Stop at 4:24)

Once they already dealt with the rest of the guards, everyone made their way out of the prison while its burning.

YN: The hell held you guys back!?

Vax: You should tell that to Percy.

Percy: It doesn't matter right now-

YN: No, it does and you know it. We barely made it out alive. So what the hell happened.

Percy: (Sigh.) ...My sister is alive.

YN was surprise for a second, he thought he was a last of his family member, but then shakes it off.

YN: Let's just get out of here. But we're far from this discussion.

They run off to the hideout while Percy looks back with a smile of relief.

Percy: I have a sister.
