We start where Dohla activated a distress beacon with her magic to draw the dragon to them.

Allura: You've sentenced us to death!

Dohla: Not us. You. The dragons have sworn to spare my people, and after I turn you over, they've promised me the power you stole.

Kima: Traitor!

Dohla starts throwing fire magic at Allura.

Kima: Allie!

Distracted, Kima got hit by ice magic from Dohla.

Dohla: (Scoffs.) Blinded by love again.

YN: You two find a way to shut off the beacon. I'll deal with Dohla!

YN drinks his elixer and attacks Dohla by firing a crossbow at her. Dohla burns it with her magic before YN charges at her while Vex and Percy runs towards the beacon.

Percy: How do we shut this thing off!?

They try to look for a way to shut it off while the other three are facing Dohla. YN went for a swing with his sword until Dohla teleported away. He quickly looks around until Dohla appear behind him and wrap her tail around YN neck when he was caught off guard. Allura and Kima try to help but Dohla focus her magic against them. YN tries to hold Dohla tail to keep her from choking him to death while she's distracted by Kima and Allura.

YN: 'Dammit, YN. Use your wolf instinct!'

Out of instinct, YN bit her tail and she yells. Forcing her to release the witcher before Dohla punches him to the face.

YN: You punch me in the face!

Dohla: You bit my tail!

YN: You punch me in the face!

Dohla: You bit my fucking tail!

YN: Yeah, well I didn't use my magic first!- (Curious.) Does that mean I win?

Dohla: ....Yes. (Smile.) Yes, you win.

YN: (Gasp excitedly.) What do I win?

Dohla: (Smile.) A pet dragon.

YN: But I already have my own pet-

Suddenly Vorugal landed behind her.

YN: Oh shit, I forgot about that guy.

Dohla: I hope he kills you first, so your friends can watch you die.

Allura: You bitch!

Vorugal was about to blast magic until YN uses Aard to push the snow and blind the enemies.

YN: Run!

They party run off before Dohla sees them through the cloud snow.

Dohla: That way. The ones you want are that way!

Vorugal sees them and runs after them while the party jump out of the bridge to the next floating island. They continue to run while trying to evade Vorugal attacks.

Vorugal: Don't worry, I won't bite. I swallow my prey whole.

Vorugal then destroys the other bridge to trap them on a floating island.

Vex: Allura, can you form one of those shields beneath us?

Allura: (Confused.) Wha- I'm not sure how that would- (Realize.) Oh.

Allura created a huge shield construct and everyone hop on before jumping off the island.

Percy: Oh, my word!

Once they landed to the ground, the shield slide down like a snowboard as they yell except for YN who's having fun.

YN: Now this is totally better than teleportation!

Percy: I don't know if you've noticed, but he's right behind us!

YN: Hold on to something, I got an idea!

YN got to the back and uses Aard to accelerate the speed of sliding down to get a fair distance from Vorugal while Allura's steering near the edge.

Percy: We're edging!

Kima: Nice steering, babe.

Allura then sees Dohla by the cliff.

Allura: Damn it!

Dohla: You can't run from this.

Dohla uses her magic to tear down the cliff and cause an avalanche that's going right towards them.

Allura: Avalanche!

YN: I got this!

The witcher uses Quen to shield them from the avalanche, but Vorugal cuts them off and they fell off while Kima fell from the cliff.

Allura: (Shock.) Kima!

YN: Oh shit. Thank god that wasn't me.

Dohla: Oh. (Chuckles.) You're next.

YN: Me? What the hell did I do to you?

Dohla: Remember my tail?

YN: Can't you take a joke?

Dohla: .....

YN: 😁.....

0.01 seconds later...

YN: Fuck you, you lizard biiiiitch!

Dohla blasted the witcher off the cliff as he flip Dohla off before joining Kima. Soon Vorugal faces the remaining party as Dohla teleported next to the dragon.

Dohla: Come on, you overgrown idiot! You should've finished them by now. What are you waiting for?

Vorugal eyes glares at her after she yelled at him and Dohla continues to yell.

Dohla: I want to see blood!

Vorugal: Do you?

Dohla then realize Vorugal is behind her and Allura tried to save her until it was too late. Vorugal kills Dohla with a chomp before dealing with the party. Vex pull out her vestige and takes aim before firing a fire arrow to blind Vorugal for the moment. Vorugal then sees the party running at the cave and blasted them with ice magic. Though it didn't killed them, it sealed them inside.

Vorugal: Good. I'll go find your friends.

Vorugal leaves to go find the others wheil inside the cave, Percy checks on the others. Starting with Allura who's the closest.

Percy: Are you all right?

Allura: I'm fine. Check on Vex. I'll look for a way out of here.

Percy checks on Vex.

Percy: Vex?

Vex gets gets back up and feeling a little dizzy.

Percy: Oh, thank goodness we're together.

Percy hugs her for the moment until Vex separated them before speaking.

Vex: Percy...about earlier...

Percy: (Hold her hand.) We both know there's something between us.

Vex: Maybe, but I'm not ready to say what you want to hear. Relationships are...dangerous. Look what happened today. Everyone I've ever loved, it...it always ends badly. Its like I'm a bad omen.

Percy: I'm willing to take that chance.

He tries to comfort Vex, but she still have some doubt's.

Vex: Look, I care about you, which is why we can't be more than just a fling. Is that all right?

Percy: (Nods and hugs her.) As you like.

Allura: (Worried.) There's no way out. And YN and Kima, they're...

Vex: (Comfort her.) She's alive. They both are, Allura. You hear me? Right now our friends are trying to find the vestige in the worst place imaginable. But I know they'll be okay. Because I know their hearts. You know Kima's heart, too. We're getting out of this cave, damn it. Not because its easy, but because we must, for the ones we love. No matter what, we have to believe its going to be all right.

Allura: And if it isn't?

Vex: Then nothing matters.

Meanwhile outside of the cave, Kima survived from the fall and she struggles to get back up before catching her breath until she spotted Vorugal coming close.

Kima: Oh, shit.

She runs off to find a place to hide until she was grabbed and pulled to the tree before her mouth was covered by hand and she notice its the witcher who gesture her to be silent. He looks through the breeze winds and see Vorugal is looking for them.

YN: It won't be long before he finds us.

Kima: Any ideas?

YN: He definitely has our scents, my elixirs are frozen, and we'll freeze to death if we stayed in one spot....give me a piece of your armor.

Kima: (Confused.) What?

YN: A piece of your armor has your scent. If he does have our scents, then I'll bait him away and you regroup with the others.

Kima: But what about you?

YN: Nothing else matters as long as you and Allura get the gateway back open for the rest of our friends to return. Besides, that lizard and I got some scores to settle.

Kima was hesitant until she took off a piece of her armor from her shoulder plate before handing it to the witcher.

Kima: Good luck.

YN nods before they split up. Soon YN notice vorugal is getting close and he tossed the shoulder plate away to draw the dragon attention away before he notice it.

Vorugal: I know you're out there. Its only a matter of time.

Vorugal sniffs the air to find the witchers scent.

Vorugal: Keep hiding, rats. I'll find you.

YN hides under the tree from Vorugal as the dragon gently breathes where the area gets colder. Luckily for the witcher, he's able to resist the cold as well as using fire magic in which he uses it to melt the elixer and successfully melts it before drinking it. He takes a deep breath to calm his nerves from the cold as his skins turns pale. Allowing the elixer to process to enhancing his skills until he's eyes turn into black.

YN: (Mutters.) The hunt begins...

Meanwhile Vorugal continues to search for the witcher until his patience begins to grow thin.

Vorugal: Enough of hiding, rats. Show yourself and face me!

Vorugal blasted ice everywhere in the forest until YN runs towards the ice spike and uses it for support by jumping from it and grabs on Vorugal right side of his face. Vorugal starts shaking his head to get YN off of his face. Fortunately YN grips is strong enough to hold old like a cat.

YN uses Igni and blasted fire right at Vorugal eye. The dragons roars from the pain of the burns in his right face and shakes aggressively until YN hands slipped and he falls by the tree where its lower half is in the ice ground. But that didn't stop the witcher as he gets back up and summoned his vestige spear before Vorugal sees him.

Vorugal: (Growls.) You little rat. I'll freeze you to death!

The dragon charges at the witcher who stood his ground. Yet the witcher is still calm as Vorugal gets closer until YN tap his spear to the ground. Revealing that there were few of the spears in the icy ground and it all exploded to open a lake that was frozen. For you see, this was planned at the moment he and Kima split up and trap the dragon. And now Vorugal fell in the trap as he tries to climb out of the lake, but he was too heavy to climb out as he sinks down into the lake.

Afterwards, YN leans his back against the tree before Vex arrive with her broomstick.

Vex: Are you all right?

YN: I'll be fine once I head to a hot bathtub when we leave. What of the others?

Vex: On their way to reopen the gateway. They should be opening it by now. What about Vorugal?

YN: Having trouble with swimming.

Vex: Then let's go before he gets better.

The witcher nods and hop on the broomstick to fly back with the others. Soon they arrive just in time for the others to get there as Allura and Kima tries to open it by starting with their magic.

Kima: Not my forte, but I'll give it a shot.

As they're trying to open it, YNs medallion started to vibrate while Vex head starts to ring.

Vex: (Gasp.) He's found us

YN: God dammit! Didn't expect to be that short.

Allura: We need more time!

Percy: We'll keep them outside.

Vorugal tries to enter the cave but only his head fit through.

Percy: Or not.

Meanwhile in hell, the other group of Vox Machina successfully got the vestige given to Pike, but have a huge demon coming after them. Vax, Scanlan, and Grog tries to keep it distracted while pike protects Keyleth who's trying to open it from their side.

Pike: Kiki, anything?

Keyleth: It won't budge!

Pike saw the demon preparing to use hellfire and she steps up and uses her shield to protect everyone.

Pike: (Realize.) Fire! Maybe I can absorb it!

The shield breaks and Pike uses her vestige for the first time and absorbs the demons hellfire.

Grog: Pike? Pike! Get out of there!

Pike: The plate. I think its working! Oh shit!

Pike absorbs too much and it release to blast from her armor which knocks all of them back including the demon.

Fortunately Grog catches her.

Grog: Oh, shit. Your head.

Pike: What about it?

Pike realize her hair is completely burned off and her eyes widen.

Pike: Oh, what the fuck!?

Soon Keyleth successfully opens the gateway.

Keyleth: Guys, look. The portal!

Grog: Uh oh.

They saw the demon climbing back up and growls.

Pike: Oh shit, oh shit, I don't want to die bald!

Vax: Move your asses! Come on, come on!

They run through the gateway as the demon follows. At the other side, they see them coming back.

Allura: Yes. Its them! Oh...

Allura sees a huge demon right behind them.

Keyleth: Help, help, help, help!

YN: What the fuck is that!?

Scanlan: Big boy! Big, big boy! Big, big boy chase us!

The demon blasted a red beam as it went through the gateway. Just in time for the dragon to get inside completely before both giant monsters clash. Once the dusts of cloud is gone, they all see the dragon and the demon are facing each other.

Vex: What is that thing!?

Grog: Hey, you think they're gonna fight or fuck?

Both monster roar at each other.

YN: Let them fight...

The two monsters clash and fight each other.

Soon the demon rips off Vorugals tongue out. Forcing the dragon to throw the demon to the wall as few rocks falls from the ceiling.

Vex: Throwing a demon at a dragon? Hell of a plan.

Vax: That is what we're known for.

Pike push the rock out and everyone saw her bald head.

Percy: (Surprise.) Pike! Your hair is-

Pike: (Glares.) Cram it, de Rolo! Having a day!

Kima: Holy shit!

They monsters continue to fight as the demons horn pierce through Vorugals neck skin. Causing him to slam the demon to the wall as the ceiling is about to collapse.

Allura: Everyone to me, now!

Everyone got close to her as YN uses Quen to protect everyone from the falling debris before Allura teleported them out of the cave. Once they're teleported out of the cave, they run to cover while Grog, Scanlan, and YN excitedly watch the fight.

Grog: This show is amazing!

Scanlan: Hell yeah, it is! Okay, five gold on the fire guy.

YN: Ten for the dragon!

Grog: Oh, the one-two combo!

Scanlan: Uh, come on. Get him, get him.

Grog: Oh-hoho! Bringing the pain!

YN: Come on, rip its limbs off dammit!

Vorugal rips off the demons left arm off in the fight.

Scanlan: (Excited.) Did you see that!?

YN: Hell yeah!

Suddenly an spike ice fell and almost landed to them.

Grog: Whoa!

YN: Okay, maybe we should watch it from a safe distance.

Grog: Back there with the others?

Scanlan: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, a little distance sounds good.

The three joins with the rest of the party as the monsters are still fighting while the fight is wrecking the whole area.

Vax: Clear the fucking way!

As the monsters fall off the cliff, Vorugal freezes the demon insides as there's ice inside the demon's mouth before they crash to the ground. The demon tries to move but its body is complete frozen inside.

Vorugal: You lose...

The dragon crush the demons head and roars in victory while everyone watches from the cliff.

Scanlan: Is it over?

Grog: Maybe he's too tired to fight?

Vorugal sees the party and roars at them. Ready to fight the party.

Keyleth: Why do you guys have to jinx us like that!?

Scanlan: Yeah, you're right. Sorry, sorry.

Keyleth: Uh...what do we do? R-run? Attack?

YN: I say we take it down.

Kima: I got an idea. Wait here.

Allura: What? Kima, no. Whatever you're thinking, you can't.

Kima: (Comforts.) You know me. And you trust me.

Allura nods and let's Kima go down there after she snatched Scanlan vestige sword.

Scanlan: Hey, that's mine!

Kima ignores him as she slide down straight towards the dragon on her own.

Vex: Where the belligerent fսck is she going?

Allura: Don't worry. That is Lady Kima of Vord. Slayer of beasts, survivor of Emberhold, and the woman I love. She's got this.

Kima faces Vorugal and she easily evades the ice breath until she threw the sword right to Vorugals open wound at his neck before she uses her hammer to jam in deeper in the wound. The dragon roars in pain and throws Kima away.

Kima: Okay. Now some help.

The dragon faces her until the rest of the party joins the fight.

Allura: You heard her!

Keyleth: We got you, Kima!

Vex: Pour it on!

The give everything they got against the dragon.

That is until Vorugal is about to take off.

Scanlan: He's taking off!

YN: Hold him down! I'm going for the wings!

Grog grabs its tail to keep the dragon to the ground.

Grog: (Laughs.) Looky what I caught.

Vorugal: I will not be contained!

Vorugal frees himself until YN manage to get on its back and jam the spear in its wings. The beast roars and starts rocking for YN to slip off and fall to the ground before he was pinned down by the dragon. YN tries to free himself until he notice Vorugal is about to freeze the witcher. Fortunately Keyleth uses her vines to keep the dragons mouth closed. Giving YN the opportunity to summoned another spear and tap it to the ground for the one on the wing exploded as the dragon release him. Vorugal rips the vines off and roars.

Percy: How is this thing still alive!?

Vax: Oh, I don't know. It is a dragon.

The dragon starts blasting ice breath as Vex, YN, and Keyleth jumps to cover.

YN: That open wound on his neck is his weak spot to punch through the heart. But my vestige can't go deeper to its heart.

Vex: (To YN.) But can you try to open dragons wound wider for a clear shot?

YN: As long as you have a plan to kill it.

Vex: (To Keyleth.) Can you cast a spell on a moving target?

Keyleth: Uh, what?

YN runs and looks for an opening shot.

YN: Vax, get it to look up!

Vax nods before summoned his wings to fly up above Vorugal who sees him and start blasting ice breath at him. This gave the witcher the opening as he throws the IronBreaker to the neck wound. With that, he open the wound wider with the spear explode where it gave Vex and Keyleth an opening.

Vex: Ready?

Keyleth: No, but do it anyway!

Vex fired as Keyleth uses her magic on the arrow as it hits directly to wound. Giving the vines to run deeper inside and grabs hold on the dragons heart and grips tightly.

Slowly killing the dragon as he fall on his back while the plants slowly turning into a tree. Defeating the dragon before Kima approaches Vorugal where he sees her.

Kima: Hey... Careful what you chase. You might just catch it.

With that, she smash the dragons eye with her hammer.

Allura: (Chuckles.) Once again, just charging in, regardless of the danger.

Kima: But that's... okay, right?

Allura: It's what I fell in love with.

Kima: Come here, tight-ass.

Kima kiss while Percy and Vex are watching from a distance until Percy speaks.

Percy: I know, we're not together.

Vex: But that doesn't mean we have to stay apart.

She lean her head against Percy shoulder before Percy notice the dragon scales on the ground.

Percy: Dragon scales...

YN: (To Keyleth.) Hey, thanks for the save. I um...would've end up freezing to death.

Keyleth: Its okay. It could've been worse- oh my god, your arm!

YN sees his left shoulder is dislocated.

YN: It happened when Vorugal pinned me down.

Keyleth: Oh um, okay. You should ask Pike for a little help with that.

YN: Hold on, let me just...

YN grabs and pops his arm back as he wince in pain while it shocked Keyleth.

YN: See? All good.

Keyleth holds YN arm to see its fine and realize that she's holding his hands. YN comforts her by hold her hand with his.

Now that they slain the 3rd dragon. All that's left is Thordak. One can only hope theres enough time before the dragon eggs hatches. Otherwise there will more dragons and the world will be at more chaos by fire.
