3rd POV

The ceiling of the cave collapse to where the Sphinx and Vox Machina are in. Luckily Kamaljori saved them from the collapse.

YN: Everbody okay!?

Vex: Yes, but we got bigger problems right now!

The dragon known as Umbrasyl was at the top and saw Vox Machina with the vestiges.

Umbrasyl: Yes. The woman was right. You have my thanks, gnome, for finding me a vestige.

YN: The woman? What the hell is he talking about?

Before he could figure out, Umbrasyl was about to attack Scanlan but the Sphinx stops him. They were both fighting while Scanlan regroups with the rest.

Scanlan: Come on, we can jump in. With Kam on our side, we can actually beat this fucker.

YN: (Draw his sword.) Not much of a choice right now.

Vex: Split up. Hit him where the Sphinx has drawn blood.

They all nod and split in to small groups. Umbrasyl knock Kamaljori to the wall before he gets back up.

Umbrasyl: Aren't you supposed to be extinct?

Kamaljori: Not yet, defiler. Roar!

He charges towards the dragon and they both use their tails as their weapons to hit each other. Vox Machina joins the fight to help the Sphinx with Vex using her flying broomstick.

Vex: (Smirk.) I've got the hang of this now. Oi! Up here!

Vex shoot enchanted arrows at the dragons head. Umbrasyl was about to spit acid but Scanlan stops him by his purple construct hand closing Umbrasyl mouth.

Scanlan: Hey, get off him!

Umbrasyl sees him and break free before using his wings to cause a powerful wind impact. It knock Scanlan back but luckily Vex catches him. Umbrasyl took this opportunity to get them but Kamaljori grabs his tail before pulling him away from his friends.

YN: We have to go for the neck, just like before! (Drink elixir.)

Vax: Got it.

Percy: Right behind you!

Percy shoot Umbrasyl while Vax uses his speed and throw some knives at him from above as YN uses his crossbow to shoot him. But Umbrasyl hide was tough that it didn't even leave a scratch. Umbrasyl throws Vax at Percy while YN uses Aard to knock Umbrasyl down before landing on his head.

    YN tries to stab him with his sword but the dragon shakes him off as YN tries to hold on, but he didn't lasted long and he was thrown at the wall. Before Umbrasyl could attack, Kamaljori got the upper hand and hits him before blasting a beam at Umbrasyl to the wall. The dragon then breathes acid to the ground, causing a massive could of dust for his cover.

Percy: Does anyone have eyes on him?

YN: I do! He's going after Scanlan and Vex!

Pike: Let's go Kiki!

Pike who is riding on Keyleth tiger form, ran up and jump for pike to knock Umbrasyl to stop him from going after Scanlan and Vex. As Umbrasyl was hit, he uses his tail to knock Vax broomstick, causing them to crash. Pike and Keyleth are still on the dragon as he tries to get them of by crashing by the pillars and successfully get them off. Just when Umbrasyl crash, Grog got his sword out and prepares to swing it at the dragon.

Grog: Give me that jugular!

Grog attacks with a powerful swing and manage to draw the dragons blood as the sword sucks the blood.

Craven edge: (Satisfied.) More! More!

Umbrasyl is wounded and Kamaljori pins him down with his shield and uses all his strength to crush the dragon.

Umbrasyl: ENOUGH!

Umbrasyl retaliates and breaths a massive acid at the Sphinx. Luckily the shield protected him until the acid destroyed it and knock him back. He then sees Scanlan who was knocked out while holding the vestiges.

Umbrasyl: (Evil smirk.) Now my prize.

He grabs Scanlan with his mouth before he fly away. The only thing that's protecting him from burning or torn to pieces is the rocks from the crash.

Kamaljori POV

I open my eyes after being knock at the wall and I see the dragon getting away with my friend and the vestige. I could not let him take the friend away who knew about my pain and love. I immediately spread my wings and take off. Once I was out I blasted my beam with my eyes to hit the dragons mouth, causing him to drop my friend and the vestige. I do by best to keep him away from my friends, but he manage to retaliate and grab me before biting my neck as I yell in pain.

    I blasted my beam at him one last time to get him off of me, but I notice my friend is falling as well as the vestige.

Kamaljori: No!

Without hesitation, I fly straight down to catch him and use my wings to shield us before we crash.

3rd POV

Once they landed back to the cave, Vox machina immediately run towards them to see if they're alive.

Pike: Oh, shit!

YN: Shorty!

Pike: No, no, no, no! Scanlan!

Scanlan is alive but he notice his friends blood are dripping out of him.

Scanlan: (Gasp.) Kammi, no!

Kamaljori: Thank you...for showing me...Osysa once more....

His glowing eyed begins to fade as we as his life. Scanlan hugs him, mourning his friends lost. It was then cut short by Umbrasyl laughing and he retrieves the vestige as it grows big.

Umbrasyl: (Laughs.) The vestige is mine. Nothing can stop the Chroma Conclave, least of allol of you.

YN: We need to go, right now!

Vox Machina runs except for Grog who got his sword, ready to kill Umbrasyl with all his anger.

Craven edge: I hunger....

Grog&CE: For blood!

Meanwhile with the rest of the group, they ran towards the entrance but it was then sealed by the rock collapsing.

Percy: Bloody wonderful. Anyone see another way out?

Keyleth: I'll try to make us one.

YN: How long will it take?

Keyleth: As soon as possible.

Keyleth tries to make a travel magic as fast as she can. The only thing that's keeping Umbrasyl away is Grog, giving everything he got against the dragon on his own. But he keeps getting knock back to the wall and Pike notice he's still fighting and tries to stop him.

Pike: Grog, come on!

Grog ignores her as he charges at Umbrasyl again.

Umbrasyl: (Evil smirk.) Come, meat.

Umbrasyl strike him with his tail, but Grog lifts the tail before grabbing the sword and wounding the dragon.

YN: I don't think Grog can hold him forever.

Percy: Step it up, Keyleth.

Grog keeps attacking Umbrasyl while Keyleth is finally done.

Keyleth: Everybody get close!

Keyleth activate it with her magic while Grog is still fighting the dragon.

Pike: Buddies!

Pike runs to get Grog who's grabbing on Umbrasyl while their flying. Grog stabs him to the kneck multiple times. Umbrasyl yells in pain and crashes before knocking Grog away with his tail. Grog retaliates once more but pike tries to stop him.

Pike: Grog we need to go!

Grog&CE: Yesss...

Pike: Grog!

Grog&CE: More.

Grog shoves Pike away before he goes back to fight Umbrasyl again. But Pike still tries to stop him.

Pike: What are you doing? We gotta leave!

Grog&CR: More!

Grog charges at him but Pike stands in his way.

Pike: GROG, STOP!

Blinded by the craven edge, Grog stabs Pike at her stomach. Everybody saw and became shock. Grog then realize he stabbed Pike by mistake and became terrified.

Grog: (Shock.) Uh...what...

Pike groans from pain as she's losing her strength. Grog became more terrified as he sees flash back of his dream where he murder all of his friends. He immediately pulls the sword away from her as he hold on to her with his arm while his other arm is shaking.

Grog: (Terrified.) Pike? N-no...Pike?

Scanlan: Come on, big guy. Move!

Grog grabs Scanlan before running back to the others as Umbrasyl charges at them.

Percy: Keyleth, spell!

Keyleth: I need a little more time!

YN: It now or never, Keyleth!

Once Umbrasyl was close, Keyleth casted her spell but the crash by Umbrasyl splitter them separately.

(YN next to Vex.)

Grog, Scanlan, and Pike got separated during the travel spell while the rest travels to the location. Keyleth does her best with the spell until they finally arrive somewhere unknown. Vax, Vex, YN, Keyleth, and Percy fell and YN quickly caught Keyleth before she collapse from exhaustion.

YN: Everybody all right!?

Vex: What happened to Pike? Where is she?

Keyleth: I...I don't know.

They all get up before Vax speaks up.

Vax: And where's Grog? And Scanlan?

Percy: Where are we?

They all saw the view to a place unknown.

(YN next to Vax.)

YN: Wherever we are.......we're definitely not anywhere in Tal'dorei.

Announcement

So I heard that there's a 2nd campaign that takes place after Vox Machina. In case you guys are wondering: Yes, I may write the second campaign with a witcher oc. Only this time it'll be a different witcher oc. I'm not sure if it'll be animated like Vox Machina, but you have my word. I will make a story of it. Until then, enjoy this story.
