Crisis on Naboo
It was the day of the Festival of Light, and everyone was so excited. But the Jedi all had to focus on their mission to protect the chancellor and his bride-to-be.
While they waited for it to be time to head to the festival, Gabby, Boba, and Lamenta went for a pony ride in the hall. Lamenta rode on Peppermints's back, racing with Boba and Remix and Gabby and Carousella.
"We're gonna win this time!" Boba bragged.
"I don't think so, Boba." Gabby said, snapping the reins. "Go, Carousella! Faster!"
"Come on, Peppermint!" Lamenta exclaimed.
Carousella ran faster as she turned a corner, and they took a shortcut to a briefing hall, where members of the Jedi Council and Anakin were finalizing their plans for the Festival of Light.
"Incoming!" Carousella exclaimed, prompting many Jedi to get out of the way, but Master Fisto lost his balance and backed into another master, knocking both of them down.
Carousella and Remix came in all excited about their running, and the kids were excited too, debating over who won the race.
"Alright, kids, knock it off!" Anakin shouted to get the kids to stop shouting and jumping.
"Hi, Dad/Daddy." Boba and Gabby said.
"What did I tell you kids about horse racing indoors?" Anakin said firmly, crossing his arms.
"To be careful?" Gabby answered in the form of a question.
Sometimes, it still surprised the Council to see Anakin Skywalker, the same Jedi who was reckless in battle and defied orders all the time, acting like a mature, responsible parent to his children. But it turned out getting rid of the rules that forbid Jedi from having families might have been the smartest and best decision the Council ever made.
"As I was saying, before we were so crazily interrupted," said Mace. "We will know the Chancellor's every move from the time we land on Naboo."
"What security measures are in place?" Master Plo asked.
Mace hit a button to display a hologram as he explained that the Royal Guard of Naboo would have armed sentries at all entry points on the palace, and the stage would be sealed off by a ray shield for the duration of the event. And, they had Queen Griselda on alert as well, being a dragon and all.
"I saw to it that similar precautions have been taken for Count Crescendo to perform." Caroline said.
"I see nothing here to worry about," said Anakin.
"With complacency comes vulnerability." Yoda said. "Yes... it is what we do not see that concerns me. A long time to plan his attack, Count Dooku has."
"Will you guys relax?" Boba said. "You got a former bounty hunter here to help you figure out every precaution, and you have a secret weapon, just in case." He motioned to Gabby.
"Yes. We thought we'd have an advantage with Obi-Wan on the inside," said Mace. "but we've had no communications from him in days."
"Uncle Obi-Wan is one of the strongest people I know. He'll come through." Gabby said. "I know he will."
"Obi-Wan will do his part," said Anakin. "Let's make sure we do ours."
"Like Count Crescendo says," said Lamenta. "The show must go on. And, the show goes on only when everyone plays the right part."
Others looked at Lamenta, who blushed.
"When you grow up around a pop star, you learn a lot about behind the scenes of each show."
Count Crescendo looked at his new outfit in the mirror. In light of the Festival of Light, he dressed in a royal blue outfit with patterns of stars in the galaxy, and he now had his hair long and violet blue.
"You look great, Count." Caroline said, walking over and wrapping her arms around him.
Crescendo put a hand on Caroline's and smiled.
"You and Lamenta are the only things that keep me strong throughout every stressful night before my biggest performances."
"Our little girl has finally managed to make some friends here." Caroline said. "Perhaps here would be a good place to take a break?"
Crescendo smiled and put a hand on Caroline's cheek.
"It seems like a nice place. I know we agreed that once we found a great place, I'd take a break so we could spend a few months together as a family before going on tour again." Crescendo said. "Lamenta is the most important thing we have right now. She's sweeter than any song I could imagine, and you're the most perfect music of my life... my wife."
And the pop star and his manager kissed.
Soon, the Jedi sent in the craft as they escorted the chancellor and his wife to Naboo.
They met with Queen Neeyutnee, Padme, Bail Organa, and Gabby and Lamenta, who arrived on Carousella.
Gabby was all dressed up in a blue ball gown for the event and wore a tiara of sparkling diamonds. As the princess of Naboo, she would also be presiding over the Festival, and then announcing Count Crescendo as the performance was ready to begin.
"Greetings, Your Majesties." said Palpatine.
"Welcome home, Chancellor." Padme bowed. "I'm thankful to the Jedi for bringing you here safely."
"As am I," said Silvaria, planting a kiss on her husband-to-be's cheek.
"Allow me to personally introduce to you my fiancé, Silvia Varro." the chancellor introduce.
"It's a pleasure, Senator Skywalker." And then she looked at the two little girls. "And I am happy to finally personally meet your dear Princess Gabriella."
Silvaria knelt down to the two girls, but Lamenta gasped.
"Lamenta? What's wrong?" Gabby asked.
Just then, people were screaming with excitement as another craft arrived, and out came Count Crescendo, ready for the festival.
"Please stand aside, folks. Count Crescendo is not doing autographs right now." said Caroline. "You'll have to wait."
People were already taking pictures with their phones as Crescendo and his entourage entered the scene.
"It is good to be back," said the Chancellor before looking at Gabby. "I'm impressed, Princess. You managed to book the biggest star in the galaxy."
"Only the best for such a special occasion," shrugged Gabby, trying to sound as polite as possible."
That was also when Lamenta ran off, and Count Crescendo took her into his arms.
"Although, I think the amount of security that has accompanied me is overkill." Palpatine said.
"With all due respect, Chancellor." Mace said. "Where you and your bride's safety are concerned, there is no such thing as overkill."
"And without precautions, there is such a thing as getting killed." Carousella said.
"So you keep insisting, Master Jedi." Silvaria said, beating Palpatine to it. "But I grow tired of the discussion. Come, Dear."
Silvaria urged Palpatine by the arm, and the couple walked away.
"What do they even see in each other?" Carousella wondered, scratching her head with her hoof.
"Some adults are just plain strange," said Gabby.
As the chancellor and others left, Padme and her husband kissed as she welcomed him and Ahsoka to the festival
"I've never seen the Festival of Light." Ahsoka said. "Sounds like a big event."
"They're expecting a large crowd," said Anakin.
"No surprise there," said Gabby. "With the festival being a big day and Count Crescendo performing, it'll be insane!"
"And, it'll also be difficult for Dooku to attack during the ceremony. But... Carousella, you stay by Gabby's side the whole time she gives her speech, okay?"
"No worries, Anakin." Carousella said. "Gabby talked to Count Crescendo, and he agreed to make an exception and let me be part of the show so I could stay very close by to ensure Gabby's safety during the performance too."
"The palace is left as the best opportunity for an ambush."
"Are you that certain an attack is imminent?" Padme asked.
"I'm afraid so." Anakin said. "Which is why I'm making Ahsoka your personal bodyguard."
"At your service, my lady." Ahsoka said.
"If there's trouble, Ahsoka and Carousella will get you, the queen, the kids, and the rest of your staff to safety."
"My dad also made sure extra precautions were taken for Count Crescendo and his entourage, and everyone else." Carousella added. "Even if Dooku doesn't get the Chancellor, he might go for the children of any of the royal families as a backup plan."
"What about you, Ani?" Padme pointed out.
"Hopefully, I'll be where I always am." Anakin said.
"He means saving the day," laughed Ahsoka.
"Of course he does," said Padme.
"Five, six, seven, eight!" Crescendo chanted as he and his dancers were doing some last-minute warmups before the big show.
Lamenta came in to see him.
"Count Crescendo." Lamenta called.
But, Crescendo didn't hear her over the music, so Lamenta said his name a little louder, but he still didn't hear.
Frustrated, Lamenta tried one last thing.
"DADDY!"
That caught Crescendo's attention.
"I have to tell you something. It's an emergency."
"Take five, everyone." Crescendo said.
Crescendo walked over to his daughter and asked her what was wrong.
"It's about the chancellor's fiancé. She's not who everyone thinks she is." Lamenta said.
When Lamenta explained how she recognized "Silvia" as a wanted criminal named Silvaria Navarro, Crescendo knew that everyone would be in danger.
According to Silvaria's records, she was a sorceress of powerful dark magic and was infamous for using fear as her weapon, and controlling horrible shadow monsters called pesadilas, black blob-like creatures of black smoke or watery goop with glowing red eyes that could enter people's dreams, turning them into nightmares, or shapeshift into whatever a particular person feared most.
Crescendo then came up with a plan, but he had to consult the kids about the show.
The Festival soon began with the Chancellor arriving with the queen, senator, and princess of Naboo.
Everyone cheered as the stage was set and the monarchy arrived to take their seats.
Anakin ordered the ray shield to be activated.
The chancellor was then motioned to begin his procession.
"It is an honor to be here for this momentous occasion." the Chancellor began. "The pride that I feel for this planet cannot be put into words. 847 years ago, Naboo joined the Republic. And tonight, we celebrate that union."
The crowd cheered, and the chancellor went on for a while before letting Gabby speak.
"Thank you, Chancellor." Gabby said with a smile. "People of Naboo, friends and family from all across the galaxy. Tonight truly is a celebration of light. Light that shines bright on the beauty of our worlds, our homes, and most of all the people who make the Republic a home for everyone. It's not always easy, but a wise friend once told me that societies, communities, and families are like a song. It takes all kinds of people, the notes, with different personalities and ideas, the melody, as well as teamwork, keeping the beat, in order for it to be a song that brightens one's day. Speaking of music, I am very happy to introduce a very special guest...hit it Remix!"
Remix turned a table and mixed a beat, and colorful lights flashed as the dancers came out, as well as Boba, Roya, Fantasia, and Carousella, who each performed their own dance as the music played. (Super Bass by Nicki Minaj)

Crescendo got crowd members excited as he danced and sang, and tossed his hair around, constantly switching from one style to another.
Girl, you got my heartbeat runnin' away
Beatin' like a drum and it's comin' your way
Can't you hear that
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?

Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
He got that super bass
Boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass
Yeah, that's that super bass
Crescendo tossed his hair back as the crowd cheered.
"Thank you, everyone." Crescendo said into the mic, altering his voice. "It's an honor to be here among so many important people in the Republic, especially you, Princess Gabriella."
Gabby could hardly contain her squeals of excitement.
"It's an honor to be this close to you as well, Chancellor. A little birdie told me you got yourself a bride. Who might the lucky lady be?"
"That would be Silvia, the lovely lady beside Senator Skywalker."
"Well, well, well... it's pretty amazing, isn't it when two come together. That special someone meant to be by your side, who will always love you, and be the one you can always rely on. It's wonderful, am I right?"
People clapped.
"Well, I'm sorry to say... Silvia is not who you all think she is." people gasped. "Or should I say... Silvaria Navarro?"
Silvaria looked appalled as Crescendo knew who she really was, and she looked like she was reaching for something, only to find it not there.
"Looking for this?" Lamenta said, appearing by Crescendo's side with an amulet in her hand. A red and black amulet that Silvaria was known to carry pesadilas in and control them.
Others were freaked when they saw Lamenta just appear.
"Give me that back, Crescendo." Silvaria demanded, stepping onstage.
"Not gonna happen." said Crescendo. And his dancers all changed into what looked like red and gold police uniforms, and they all had weapons of some kind. "My entourage has been on your trail since you escaped from prison. It's time for you to go back to jail."
The kids also had weapons on them too, and activated their magic.
Flashback to about an hour before the show...
"Kids, this is very important." Crescendo said. "The chancellor's bride-to-be is not who everyone thinks she is."
One of Crescendo's dancers showed they had a badge that indicated them as an agent for the Enchantra High Commission. And, they showed a mugshot of Silvaria.
"Her name is Silvaria Navarro." said the agent. "She is a very dangerous witch of dark power who was previously sentenced to life in prison for attempting to overthrow the kingdom of Nochestrella almost twenty years ago using pesadilas, a severely dangerous creature of dark magic that creates an illusion of one's worst fears."
"How do we stop her?" Gabby asked. "Shouldn't you arrest her already?"
"If we pop out at the wrong moment, she could escape all over again. Or worse, harm your families."
"Then what can be done?" Carousella asked.
"We go through with the concert as a ruse to lure her into a false sense of security." Crescendo said. He pulled out a book and showed the kids a picture of the amulet Silvaria carried. "Silvaria carries around this amulet. The Night Stone. It's what allows her to control the pesadilas."
"While in prison, Silvaria powers were weakened. But once she left the walls of the facility, they started to return to their normal strength. By our calculations, she'll only have gained enough strength for one massive attack by now." said the agent. "Which is why we must ensure she can't release her pesadilas on the Festival tonight."
Crescendo then began to explain the plan. Gabby would introduce Crescendo's performance after her speech. Then, Crescendo would keep everyone distracted while Lamenta swiped Silvaria's amulet.
"But how will she get it without Silvaria seeing her?" Fantasia pointed out.
"She won't even see me coming. No one will." Lamenta said, and she vanished, to the others' shock. Then she reappeared. "I'm an Enchanted too. I can turn invisible. And, I can see the truth in everyone, which is how I found out about Silvaria."
"Once Lamenta takes the amulet," said Crescendo. "My entourage will get her into custody. But there is a chance she might use other means to attack, as in magic. Those of you without magic will be equipped with one of these."
Crescendo held up a special gauntlet like the one the agents all had and put it on Boba's left forearm. He explained to him that all he had to do was aim and tap it, and it would unleash a stunt energy that only affected Enchanteds of dark power.
"Capturing Silvaria is crucial to the safety of our worlds. Enchanted and non-Enchanted. Can I count on all of you to help?"
"You can count on me." Gabby said, stepping up.
"And me." Roya said.
"And me." said the other kids.
Present...
"If that's how you want to play it." Silvaria sighed.
Silvaria circled her hands around, making a ball of red magical energy appear, and was about to cast a powerful spell, only for a blast of gold magic to strike first. Silvaria tried again, and this time she was Force-pushed to the ground by none other than... Count Crescendo?
That was when another attack started. The shield generator was taken out, taking the ray shield with it. And bounty hunters started to attack, which Silvaria took as her chance to attack, and she began to transform.
Silvaria transformed into a very powerful-looking sorceress in black and red and rode on a dark cloud that sounded of thunder.
"You think you have what it takes to defeat me?" said the sorceress. "Come and fight me."
"With pleasure." Carousella said. "Attack formation!"
Carousella and Fantasia both spread their wings and flew towards Silvaria, horns at the ready to blast magic, and Silvaria shot spell after spell. So did the ponies. Gabby grew a tall beanstalk to get herself at a better angle to cast spells, hoping to trap Silvaria, but she kept fighting back until she managed to throw the girls down, and then started to go after Lamenta, who ran for her young life.
Meanwhile, the Jedi were fighting off the bounty hunters, who were making a switch to take the Chancellor.
One of them tried to take Anakin down, but he crossed his arms in front of his face, forming a green energy shield that prevented the octopus/squid-like bounty hunter from even touching him, to both their shock.
"Whoa... I never knew I could do that." Anakin gasped.
Lamenta ran as fast as her little legs could carry her, and she jumped down onto some lavender-colored stargazer-like flowers, carrying the amulet in her hands. But Silvaria came after her.
Lamenta tried to get away by running into the forest, but Silvaria popped up in front of her.
"Isn't it a little dangerous for a little girl such as yourself to wander off at night?" Silvaria smirked.
Lamenta backed up, trying to get away from Silvaria, but everywhere she turned, Silvaria reappeared.
"Now, give me my amulet." Silvaria demanded.
"Leave. The girl. Alone!" a familiar voice said angrily.
Silvaria turned around to see it was none other than Count Crescendo, the wind blowing through his hair as he stood fearlessly before her.
"Oh, what's the pop star going to do? Sing to me?"
"Yes."
Crescendo took a big breath while Lamenta got down and covered her ears. And the pop star vocalized very loudly, creating soundwaves that were strong enough to throw Silvaria off balance and make her fall off of her cloud as she covered her ears. And while Silvaria was trying to recover her hearing, Crescendo held her in a Force-choke.
"It's over, Silvaria. You're going back to prison where you belong."
"That's... what you... think!"
Silvaria managed to use a little bit of her magic to cast a spell that made the amulet float right into her hands, and she raised it up to make pesadilas appear all around, and they flew back to the festival. But, Crescendo then placed Silvaria into some binders and managed to get her to his entourage to be taken into custody.
Lamenta and her father quickly rushed back to the festival, where the pesadilas were attacking everyone by turning into their worst fears. And just as they were arriving back, Bane and Eval were getting away with the Chancellor.
Gabby and her friends started to attack as many pesadilas as they could by igniting spells of light, which Crescendo explained killed pesadilas. But the bounty hunters were getting away.
"So long, Jedi." said Bane.
Obi-Wan told Mace that he was going after the Chancellor, and he took off in a speeder.
Naturally, Peppermint followed him.
The two remaining bounty hunters arrived at the rendezvous point.
"What did I tell ya?" said Eval. "My plan worked perfectly.
"It wasn't your plan." Bane huffed. "It was my execution of your plan." He pointed his blaster at the Chancellor and told him impatiently to get up.
As the Chancellor picked himself up, Eval questioned Bane how he dared to disrespect him.
"Pipe down." said Bane, who noticed their employer was absent. "Where is Dooku? I thought you said he'd meet us here."
"That was the plan." said Eval.
That was when Obi-Wan, still disguised as Hardeen, arrived in his speeder. And when Peppermint arrived, he came up with a plan. He tied a rope around her muzzle to make it look like he'd captured her.
"Hardeen, you're not supposed to be here yet." said Bane. "And why do you have that horse?"
"This horse belonged to the Jedi I killed." said Obi-Wan.
Peppermint snorted and whinnied angrily as she pretended to struggle to keep up the act.
"I didn't want to be double-crossed and left behind again." said Hardeen. "And this unicorn will fetch me extra compensation."
"Capturing the horse was a waste of time, then." Bane said. "I think we've all been double-crossed. Dooku's a no-show."
"What do you mean? What do we do with the chancellor now?" Eval asked. "And what of the horse?"
"We'll ransom both of them ourselves. If Dooku won't pay us, somebody else will."
"I'm afraid the chancellor and the unicorn are coming with me." said Obi-Wan, letting Peppermint go and taking out a blaster.
The bounty hunters tried to attack Obi-Wan, but Peppermint jumped in and kicked Bane to the ground, but then he tried to blast Obi-Wan from the air on his rocket boots. Obi-Wan jumped up and grabbed Bane by his boots and pulled him back down to the ground, throwing him into Eval and knocking both of them down, giving the disguised Jedi time to grab his weapon.
Mace and Anakin soon arrived on their speeder and had Moralo Eval on his knees.
"Take him and Bane into custody," said Mace. "and make sure the chancellor is returned safely to the palace." He then approached Obi-Wan and praised him for doing a good job... using his real name.
"Kenobi!" said Bane. "I should have known. Something smelled wrong about you from the start."
Peppermint kicked Bane in the stomach with one hoof.
"And I've disliked you from the start." said the unicorn.
"Yes, spending so much time with you was no reward either." said Obi-Wan.
"Reward?! I'll give you a reward, when I plug you full of-Augh!"
Peppermint kicked Bane again.
"Does this guy ever shut up?"
Bane was taken away.
"Such a pleasant fellow." said Obi-Wan sarcastically. "I hope this was all worth it."
"We saved the chancellor." said Mace. "That's the important thing."
That was also when Peppermint started to lick Obi-Wan like crazy.
"I missed you too, Peppermint." Obi-Wan chuckled as he received all the love from his horse.
When the fight was over, everyone was, naturally traumatized by the experience. It took a while for everyone to settle down. But, Gabby managed to find someone among those rescued, and brought her to meet a certain undercover Jedi.
Obi-Wan, still disguised, held hands with Satine as he told her everything.
"I didn't want to keep secrets from you, but it was the only way to make the mission a success." Obi-Wan said. "I understand completely if you're angry, but I love you and I just need you to-"
Satine didn't let him finish and kissed him right on the lips. Obi-Wan was initially shocked, but he slowly began to kiss back, and that was when something magical happened. Gold and orange sparkles surrounded the disguised Jedi as he started to float up in the air, then he started spinning, and in a light flash, he was transformed back into Obi-Wan Kenobi, like a beast turning back into a handsome prince.
Satine was so happy to see Obi-Wan's real face again, and the two engaged in another session of some much desired kissing.
As everyone finally settled down, the Jedi were approached by the leaders of Naboo as well as Senator Organa.
"Once again, you have all distinguished yourselves in the eyes of the Republic," said Padme. "and the people of Naboo are in your debt."
"It's all part of the job, my lady." said Padme.
Crescendo's entourage had Silvaria in custody and put her into a carriage sent by the Enchantra High Commission. The pop star looked exhausted after all that happened, and Caroline looked so relieved when she had Lamenta in her arms again.
"I'm not sure I agree with your idea to send the rest of the security detail back to Coruscant." Mace said as everyone began to depart.
"Now that the threats have all passed," said the chancellor. "I think Anakin is all the security I need."
"We're all very sorry your fiancé turned out to be a fugitive."
"It was probably for the best."
Anakin was very glad to see his best friend looking like his old self again. And sounding like his old self once Caroline used the Heimlich maneuver to get the vocal emulator out of his throat.
"Glad to see you look like yourself again." said Anakin.
"Being a criminal is not easy work." said Obi-Wan.
"I wish you didn't have to be secretive about this in the first place. If Gabby hadn't discovered the truth and told me... I don't know how I would've reacted to all this. Too bad the council didn't trust me."
"Anakin, it was my decision to keep the truth from you at first. Your daughter convinced me I was wrong. I knew if you were convinced I was dead, Dooku would believe it as well. But then I realized you were hurt."
"Your decision." Anakin sounded disappointed.
"Look, I know I did some questionable things, but I was doing what I had to do. I hope you can understand that."
"You lied to me." Anakin said, briars growing by his feet. "How many other lies have I been told by the council?"
Anakin noticed the briars getting bigger as he got more tense.
"Clear skies... clear skies..." Anakin breathed, and the briars went away. This time, he spoke more calmly. "How do you know that you even have the whole truth?"
Obi-Wan looked down. He could see why Anakin was still a little upset, and he clearly needed time to cool down.
Later, Obi-Wan was looking over a map of the palace and was soon approached by Mace. They were both relieved that everyone was okay, but Mace got the sense that the younger Jedi had something on his mind.
"Yes. Something Anakin said has me worried." said Obi-Wan. "Do we know the whole truth? I think I'll stay. I need to check one last thing. And one other thing... I noticed that when Silvaria attacked... Count Crescendo used the Force."
"I noticed it as well." Mace said.
"Does that mean Count Crescendo is a former Jedi?" Peppermint asked.
"It's a possibility. But his Force signature felt new, yet familiar. We'll need to question him before he and his crew leave for their next show."
"So... I guess since the festival is over, you're gonna be traveling again?" Gabby said sadly to Lamenta.
"I guess so." Lamenta said, equally sad. "I really wish we could stay though. For the first time ever, I actually made a group of friends who love me for me. I don't wanna leave."
"Well, we won't have to, Sweetie." said Crescendo, kneeling down to Lamenta. "We wanted to wait until later to surprise you, but... we're taking a break."
"What?" Lamenta was surprised.
"Your mother and I have been talking about it for a while now. We both think it's time we took some time off from traveling and stayed somewhere we can just be a family, and you can have a more active social life and just be a kid."
A huge smile suddenly appeared on Lamenta's face, and she hugged the pop star happily.
Gabby was also very happy to hear that her new friend could stay.
"But wait, where are you gonna live?" Gabby asked.
"We're still figuring that out." said Crescendo. "But we'll find a good place to stay."
Meanwhile, Anakin was walking with the Chancellor inside the palace of Naboo.
"We will leave as soon as Queen Neeyutnee's banquet is over." said the Chancellor. "I also want to say goodbye to your wife and children. She had been a very gracious host."
"Hmm. Padme and the kids didn't mention a banquet to me." said Anakin.
"Perhaps she meant it as a surprise." the chancellor chuckled. "I must say, the lengths the Jedi will go to is nothing short of incredible. I assume the brilliant plan to disguise Obi-Wan Kenobi was yours."
"No... it wasn't, sir. I was in the dark as much as you were."
"Really? Interesting?"
"I was under the impression the Jedi always worked as a team."
Anakin and the Chancellor entered the banquet hall, but found Dooku in there.
"Welcome." said the Sith Lord.
The door closed behind the chancellor and Jedi, and two droids came out with electro-staffs.
"My gracious, it's a trap!" said Palpatine.
"Chancellor, stay back!" Anakin pushed the Chancellor away, and one droid smacked him with an electro-staff.
"You should have quit while you were still alive, Dooku."
"Fighting off the entire Jedi security force would" have been difficult, but now that they are gone..." Dooku stood up and took out his lightsaber. "defeating you alone will be an easy task."
Anakin quickly remembered something Gabby always did to handle droids, and he made two giant venus flytraps swallow the two droids, to Dooku's shock. He got out his lightsaber and started to fight Dooku while another droid took the Chancellor. And each time Dooku threw a chair or silverware at him, another plant grew to protect Anakin. But, he didn't always get the plant he intended, as he still had a lot to learn about his power.
Luckily, someone ran into the hallway on his unicorn to assist Anakin.
Anakin had Dooku on his back on a staircase until Dooku hit him with Sith lightning and threw him across the hall.
That was when Obi-Wan and Peppermint arrived.
"Are you alright?" They asked at the same time.
"Come on!" said Anakin, rushing to save the chancellor.
Dooku was taking the chancellor onto a ship, when Anakin jumped up onto the ramp and used his lightsaber again, this time with Obi-Wan joining in.
Obi-Wan managed to get the chancellor off the ship, but Dooku got away, and called Anakin an unworthy adversary, and that his new flower power looked ridiculous on him.
Anakin growled, and more briars grew by his feet.
"Chancellor!" Padme exclaimed, arriving at the scene. "Are you alright?"
"Yes." said Palpatine as Anakin helped him up. "Thanks again to the heroics of the Jedi. That's the second time today."
"We specialize in heroics, Chancellor." said Obi-Wan. Peppermint neighed in agreement.
"As long as I live," said Anakin. "no harm will ever come to you, Your Excellency."
"Hmm, well, here's to your long and prosperous life, Anakin." the chancellor said, placing a hand on Anakin's shoulder. "One shudders to think where the galaxy would be without the Jedi."
And, chances were the Jedi were about to get another new member.
