Boba and Omega swam and swam for what felt like hours to them.

"Are you sure we're going the right way?" Omega asked.

"Have you ever been to Pearlaqua before?" asked Estrella.

"Not for a while." Boba said. "But I know it well enough. Pearlaqua is one of the safest kingdoms on Mythiria. A lot of dark creatures don't like the water, and as long as the ocean doesn't get polluted, it's a perfectly safe and beautiful place to live."

Omega kept holding onto Estrella, still not quite getting the hang of mermaid swimming.

"How do you do this without-whoa!" Omega almost went the wrong way, having trouble with her tail when she tried to use it on her own. "Without getting mixed up?"

"It takes practice." Boba said, grabbing his sister's hands. "Dad had the same troubles when Gabby turned him into a merman to save him from drowning."

Boba reminded Omega how to move her body and position herself to swim steadily.

"It's all in the core." Boba said, showing Omega again.

Omega gave it another go and found herself slowly getting steadier.

"I-I think I'm getting it!" Omega cheered, only to flip herself forward. But Estrella caught her.

"I got you, Megs."

"Megs?" Omega was confused.

"It's a nickname." Estrella said. "Lots of people have them as terms of endearment or for shortening long names."

"It's true." Boba said. "Like Gabby is short for Gabriella, but I sometimes call her Butterfly, and she calls me Big Brother. And Lamenta's parents call her Little Lamb or Little Star."

Omega thought about the nickname Megs, and she actually kind of liked how it sounded.

"Don't tell my dad I told you, but Mom calls him Ani sometimes. His mom used to call him that too."

Omega giggled at how cute that nickname sounded for someone who was supposedly a fearless warrior.

"I actually like the nickname Megs." Omega said. "I've never had one before. Not that I liked, anyway. Most called me weird most of my life."

"Jerks." Boba said. "That's the nickname for them."

"Agreed." Estrella said.

The group soon came upon a beautiful coral reef.

"Whoa. What is that?" Omega said.

"That's a coral reef." Boba said. "And those are sea creatures."

Boba pointed out some of the different creatures they saw. Clownfish, seahorses, crabs, and sea turtles. Omega was fascinated by all of them. Despite living on an ocean planet her whole life, Omega never got to see any creatures of the sea. However, she had heard many stories about mermaids in some of the books she got to read, but she thought that was all they were. Stories.

Boba, on the other hand, was finally introduced to being in the water at his adoptive father's bachelor party on the beach, and since then he made a connection with it. Somehow, being close to the water gave him a sense of being at home. Perhaps it was because it reminded him of where he came from and thus how rewarding it was that he had grown so much since, and he knew that just because he had a new family now and called someone else 'Dad' did not mean he was betraying his family. If Jango Fett was as good a father as Boba believed, he would be proud of his son for moving on and learning to behave more independently.

"Mermaids are very real." Boba said. "They're very beautiful too. So are their cousins, the sirens. But you gotta watch out when sirens sing. They tend to hypnotize you too when they sing a certain way."

It wasn't long until the kids and alicorn-turned-seapony saw a beautiful city underneath the sea.

"There it is!" Boba exclaimed.

Omega and Estrella were astonished at how beautiful the kingdom was. Neither of them could believe their eyes when they saw all the merfolk and the fishes swimming all around. However, Pearlaqua was not the happy mermaid kingdom Boba remembered.

This time around, the merfolk seemed worried, and Boba was quick to notice a lot of merfolk he'd never seen before, as well as some other creatures he didn't recall seeing as sea creatures, all of them wearing the same blue pearl he'd given Omega and Estrella.

"I don't remember seeing a bunch of sea griffins, sea ponies, or... sea viventias?" Boba said, confused. "The last time I was here, I didn't see that many of all of those creatures."

Suddenly, Boba was approached by a young mermaid girl named Azaelea, one of Aqualia's sisters.

"Prince Boba!" exclaimed the young mermaid.

"Azaelea? What's going on?"

"Aqualia saw the message Prince Carmine sent, and we were just about to look for you." Azaelea explained. "What are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to your sister. It's very important. Life or death important."

Azaelea quickly guided Boba and his friends through the city and brought them to the castle.

Aqualia was with her sister Marina and their parents, looking over some books, hoping to find a possible solution to defeating Lady Morpha or at least getting everyone to safety.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Azaelea exclaimed. "Boba's here!"

Boba bowed to the king and queen, Omega mimicking his actions.

"Boba, we're glad to see you're alright." said Queen Saphira. "Who are your friends?"

"Queen Saphira, King Coralos, this is my long-lost twin sister Omega and our friend Estrella." Boba introduced. "I saw my Uncle Carmine's message. He said to look for Aqualia and that your family holds a map to a river of memory."

Aqualia knew exactly what Boba was talking about. After Gabby asked her about a river of memory a couple years back, she grew curious and asked her father about it. As it turned out, Queen Alani entrusted that map to the royal family of Pearlaqua just before Solaris fell. She told them to give that map to a future Solaran royal when a time came that another Doresho Gypsy threatened Enchantra. No one had ever looked at that map before, as it was strictly promised that only a member of the royal family be allowed to see it.

King Coralos brought Boba to a treasury where the crown jewels of Pearlaqua were kept. There, they found a beautiful chest that wasn't even locked.

"In this chest is where the map is kept." Coralos said. "Queen Alani enchanted it so only a member of Solaris' royal family could open it."

"Piece of cake." Boba said, and he tried to open the chest. But... it wouldn't open. "Huh. Must be stuck."

Boba tried harder to open the chest, but it wouldn't budge.

"Maybe the hinges are rusty." said Omega. She picked up the chest and started banging it on the shelf. "Try it now."

Boba tried one more time, but the chest just wouldn't open.

"What's the matter with this thing?" Boba asked. "I'm part of the family, so shouldn't it open?"

Coralos took a look at it and then checked a book of spells.

"I see the problem." said the merman king. "It appears Queen Alani didn't specify when she cast the spell that adopted members of the family would be able to open it."

Boba looked appalled. "But, I have my family's powers. Shouldn't it recognize those at least?"

"Despite magic being traced to specific kinds of creatures, it doesn't fool any method of tracing DNA." Coralos said. "I'm sorry."

"Well, this is terrific." Boba said sarcastically. "First people treat me differently because I'm adopted, every biological member of my family is trapped by a psycho butterfly lady, now I have to protect my family's magic, but I can't even access the one thing that'll help me save them because I'm adopted! AGH!"

Boba swam away in frustration.

Boba sat on a rock, crying. He didn't know what to do. Carmine was the only biological family member not under Morpha's spell, but Boba couldn't go to him without risking Morpha stealing his family's powers.

Boba felt all those bad memories coming right back to him. Being alone, having no real friends or a family. He may have just lost his family a second time. This was exactly what he was afraid of when he was in the orphanage. Normally, in a situation like this, someone in his family would comfort him with a big hug, kind words, singing him a song, tickling him to make him laugh away his sorrows, and give him a kiss.

But, here he was, alone on a rock... until he heard a voice.

"Boba? Are you okay?"

Boba looked to see Omega there, concern on her face.

"How can I be okay?" Boba said. "My family is trapped, I'm trapped in hiding, I'm the only family member who knows how to save the others, but I can't gain access to the one thing that'll help me do that because I'm adopted!"

"I thought you said being adopted wasn't that bad."

"I didn't tell you everything about it." Boba looked down. "Everyone loves my family, and everyone also knows I'm the only adopted child. They treat me differently. They treat me like I don't belong." He sighed. "Some have even said I shouldn't get a crown because I'm not a blood member of the family."

Omega couldn't believe what she'd heard. She'd faced a lot of bullies in her life before, but never ones that said she didn't deserve to call herself part of a family. It might've been in part because she never had a family, but still.

Boba: Have you ever felt like nobody was there?
Have you ever felt forgotten in the middle of nowhere?
Have you ever felt like you could disappear?
Like you could fall, and no one would hear?

Omega put a comforting hand on her brother's shoulder and got him to look at her.

Omega: Well, let that lonely feeling wash away
Maybe there's a reason to believe you'll be okay
'Cause when you don't feel strong enough to stand
You can reach, reach out your hand

And oh, someone will coming running
And I know, they'll take you home

"You're my brother." said Omega. "I've only known you for a little while, but I care about you. And I'll be here for you. That's what siblings do."

Omega: Even when the dark comes crashing through
When you need a friend to carry you
And when you're broken on the ground
You will be found
So let the sun come streaming in
'Cause you'll reach up and you'll rise again
Lift your head and look around
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
Boba: You will be found

Estrella soon came in and saw that Boba needed support. And so did Aqualia.

"Boba, I heard what happened." Aqualia said. "You shouldn't let this get you down."

"You're part of a familia." Estrella said.

"They're right, Boba." Omega said. "Whose love matters more to you? A bunch of strangers, or the family you've told me so much about who loves you and raised you?"

Boba looked at the japor snippet around his wrist, and he remembered what his adoptive father told him when he gifted it to him. This japor snippet will bring you good fortune, and serve as a reminder that no matter what, no matter how far apart we are, you're part of this family, and always will be.

Aqualia: There's a place where you don't have to feel unknown
(Estrella: In your family's hearts, you're always known)
And every time that you call out
You're a little less alone
Omega: If you only say the word
(Aqualia: You have a family of your own)
From across the silence your voice is heard

(Gabby's voice in Boba's mind: Family is forever, Big Brother)

Aqualia's family and some friends all had kind words about how Boba was part of a loving family. As it turned out, many families there had adopted children as well or were adopted themselves.
(The whole galaxy needs to hear this)
(A beautiful tribute, favorite!)
(I know someone who really needed to hear this today)
(You're showing your family how much you love them by doing what you're doing)
(I never met your family, but with all that's happening, seeing you help your family)
(It's so easy to feel alone, but Boba's friends are exactly right—we're not alone, none of us)
(We're not alone, none of us! None of us!)
(None of us are alone)

Everyone: Even when the dark comes crashing through
When you need a friend to carry you
When you're broken on the ground
You will be found
So let the sun come streaming in
'Cause you'll reach up and you'll rise again
If you only look around
You will be found (You will be found)
You will be found (You will be found)
You will be found

Out of the shadows
The morning is breaking
And all is new, all is new
It's filling up the empty
And suddenly I see that
All is new, all is new

You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone
You are not alone (You are not alone)
You are not alone (You are not alone)
You are not
You are not alone (You are not alone)

Boba & Omega: Even when the dark comes crashin' through
When you need someone to carry you
When you're broken on the ground
You will be found!
Everyone: So when the sun comes streaming in
'Cause you'll reach up and you'll rise again
If you only look around
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found
You will be found!

Boba & Omega: You will be found

Omega pulled Boba into a loving embrace, and Boba started to feel so much better.

"Thanks, Sis." Boba smiled.

Boba looked at the chest once more and gained a look of determination.

"We gotta find someone who can open this chest." Boba said.

"How?" Estrella asked.

"If Dad and Uncle Carmine didn't know each of them existed," Boba theorized. "I didn't know I had a sister, and my dad didn't know Qui-Gon was his father... there might be other members of the family we don't know about."

"You think it's possible?" Omega said.

"It's a bit of a longshot, and we're grasping at straws at this point... but we have to try." Boba said. "Our families, our friends, and the entirety of Enchantra and the Republic is depending on us to find whatever the map in this chest is guiding us to."

"But how are we gonna find out if another Solaran royal family member exists?" Omega asked.

Boba thought, and he had an idea of where to start looking.
