Omega tried not to fall as she walked across the balance beam to see if gymnastics was her talent. But when she slipped and landed on a pillow... it turned out she needed practice.

"Okay, so gymnastics didn't exactly come naturally." Boba said, helping his sister up. "But that's okay. Maybe you're good at something else."

"I still wanna learn to cheerlead, though. It looks like fun." Omega said.

Suddenly, the kids saw a big sparkly beating heart forming in the room.

"What's that?" said Omega.

"Hey, when a heart like that appears, it usually means-"

And out from the heart with a happy whinny jumped a certain pink-coated, blue-maned alicorn with the sparkling shooting star mark.

"Estrella?!" Omega exclaimed happily.

"Hello, Omega." smiled Estrella.

Omega hugged Estrella and laughed when the equine started licking her.

"I missed you." said Omega.

"I missed you too, Omega." Estrella said. "You can't imagine my delight when Queen Reigna said the Equinary matched us together."

Omega then noticed the bottle around Estrella's neck.

"What's that?" the human girl asked.

"A message for your parents. Where are they?"

"They're running a few errands today." Boba said. "They said they'd be back before dinner."

Anakin affectionately rubbed his wife's stomach as they left the adoption center, and the couple was so glad they would finally be returning home to be with their kids.

They already met with a social worker, who promised to conduct an inspection of their home and then interview the family once they got all the necessary information on the child in question. Their anniversary ball was set to go on as scheduled, as well as Boba's, now his and Omega's, birthday ball. And earlier today, they'd received amazing news during their doctor's appointment.

"Think we should tell the kids tonight?" Anakin asked his wife.

Padme chuckled and said, "No... I think it'd be better to surprise everyone."

Anakin kissed his wife's cheek. "They're gonna be as happy as we are when delivery day comes."

And when the couple arrived back home, they looked among the children playing until they were called to get their supper. But, they didn't see Gabby, Boba, or Omega anywhere.

"Anybody know where our kids are?" Anakin called.

"They're probably still out back with the other ponies." said Crescent, standing at the table beside Lamenta.

Anakin helped his wife sit down and then went to go fetch the kids.

"You go, Gabby!" Boba cheered, watching his youngest sister do tricks with Carousella.

"She's amazing!" Omega gasped.

Gabby just performed a stunt where she feigned fainting, but hung by one leg on the saddle as Carousella ran.

Anakin gasped when he saw Gabby do a backflip on Carousella, but was relieved to see she was fine. He chuckled at himself. Suddenly, he wondered if this was how Obi-Wan felt while training him sometimes... or all the time.

Gabby eventually sat back down on the saddle and stopped Carousella by her siblings.

"It takes a lot of practice to arabesque on a horse when it's not moving." Gabby said. "And even more practice and skill to do full-on gymnastics on a moving equine."

"For now, we'll stick with just me carrying you on my back." Estrella said, nuzzling her girl, making her laugh.

"Hey, younglings... time to come in for dinner." Anakin said.

"Daddy!" Gabby got down and ran to her father.

Anakin happily picked up his current youngest child until the baby was here, and kissed her cheek.

Before, Boba would look at Anakin holding Gabby in his arms and miss his birth father, as well as see a reminder that he wasn't born into the family. But, with Omega here, he didn't feel so left out anymore. And more importantly, their family was growing and changing for the better, and now was the time to make the most of it.

Soon, Boba and Omega would officially be teenagers, the baby would be arriving, and eventually Gabby and Lamenta wouldn't be little girls anymore. Everyone was growing and changing. Even the adults. And now, those who previously grew up being kept away from emotions, fun stuff, and the experience of having a real family... now they had the chance to experience all those things.

"I see Estrella is back." said Anakin, noticing Estrella.

"She says she was sent for me." Omega said, petting her horse.

Anakin took note of the bottle around Estrella's neck and told his kids to go and wash up for dinner.

"Last one inside is a rotten egg!" Gabby said, speeding off.

"Hey, no fair! We didn't inherit Aunt Kara's speed." Boba whined, running after her.

"Wait for me!" Omega said, dashing to catch up with her siblings.

Anakin chuckled, glad to see Omega was settling in okay. He and Padme were also impressed with how nicely her room was decorated. The walls were covered with posters of different exotic worlds across the Galaxy and Enchantra, and there was a sign above the row of them that had Places I Wanna See in big red and gold letters. And on her bed, there sat some sun and star-shaped pillows, and her new trooper doll and Little Star.

Anakin chuckled and said, "You know, your Aunt Caroline calls Lamenta 'Little Star.'"

"Estrella gave me the nickname Megs." Omega said.

Omega couldn't get over how comfortable her new pajamas felt. The ones she wore now were pink with pictures of cute little puppies on them.

"That's adorable." said Anakin, getting Omega's bed ready to tuck her in while Padme brushed Omega's hair.

"There we go." Padme smiled, looking at Omega's reflection. "You're a very pretty girl... Megs."

"Thanks... Mom."

That last word felt so weird to Omega, coming out of her mouth. She'd never even called anyone 'Dad' either like Boba had. She wondered if it felt this strange to him calling Padme 'Mom' for the first time.

Before putting Omega to bed though, they brought her to a room where some other kids were sitting on a rug with their teddies or security blankets as Qui-Gon got out a book to read.

"What's this?" Omega said.

"Storytime." Lamenta said. "Grandpa Qui-Gon always tells the best stories before bedtime."

"Alright children," smiled Qui-Gon. "Tonight, we are going to read the story of The Little Mermaid."

A little Twilek girl named Kayla crawled into his lap as he opened the book, her being the one whose turn it was to pick the book. Qui-Gon chuckled as he let Little Kayla sit there so she could turn the pages.

"That's a great thing about him." Anakin said. "He's very popular with the little ones."

"Especially his little ones." Gabby said, wishing she could be the one to sit with her grandfather and turn the pages tonight.

With a larger number of kids in the palace for the time being, she and Lamenta had to wait a little longer for lap time with their grandfather.

"You'll get your turn again soon, Princess." Anakin said, ruffling Gabby's hair. "You just have more kids to share Grandpa with than usual."

And so, Qui-Gon began the story.

Omega couldn't explain why, but it felt magical to sit with a bunch of other kids and listen as the kindly royal Jedi Master read every word to the kids, and it was adorable whenever Kayla got to turn the page to continue the story. Occasionally, one of the kids got really into the story and imitated a character, making the others laugh. Crescent provided all the horse-related sound effects for added enhancement.

Storytime was definitely a lot more interesting these days. And the kids were tired and ready to go to sleep by the time Qui-Gon finished the story, including Kayla, as she started falling asleep against his chest.

Carmine picked up Gabby and Lamenta. "I got these two." And he left to get them tucked in.

Boba yawned as he got up. "Night, Mom and Dad. Night, Omega." And he dragged Fuzzy along as he tiredly headed to his room.

Padme and Anakin wasted no time accompanying Omega to her room to tuck her in.

Omega found it even stranger when her foster parents (for now, until the adoption was finalized) got her into bed to tuck her in. She never got tucked in by two people, or really anyone, with so much compassion and care.

Back on Kamino, Omega was always just sent to her room, and it was lights out after a simple bedtime story. But, she didn't have a stuffy to keep nightmares away, or goodnight kisses.

Anakin and Padme each gave Omega a sweet kiss as they tucked her in.

"Goodnight, our newest princess." Anakin smiled, pulling the blanket over Omega.

"Goodnight... Daddy." Omega said. "Goodnight, Mom."

The Skywalker couple was so glad Omega was feeling comfortable and looked like she would sleep well tonight.

It looked like things were going to be okay.

Meanwhile, on Kamino...

A hologram of Omega was shown to a mysterious figure meeting with Prime Minister Lama Su.

"You understand the importance of this target?" said the Kaminoan.

The humanoid figure stood up from the chair. "I'll bring the girl in, completely unharmed and in one piece. All I need is to locate her."
