Attack On the Temple
Aqualia and Summer accompanied Estrella and the twins as they travelled back to Coruscant. If there was any chance Qui-Gon had any other biological family. A sister, a brother, or a second cousin or something who counted as a royal family member, the archives would likely hold some answers.
"You're sure the answers will be in the Temple?" Aqualia asked.
"Gabby said it was how she found out where Dad came from." Boba said. "If there's anyone else we don't know about in this family, we'll find it there."
However, as they arrived, they quickly saw that clones were helping the Jedi board some ships and evacuating the Temple. It seemed they'd gotten all the younglings out, and now they were getting the elderly Jedi and other grownups out as well.
Boba quickly saw the Jedi Council was ensuring everyone got out, and he saw Bruno there too.
"Master Kenobi!" Boba called, riding Estrella to him.
"Boba? What are you doing here?" Obi-Wan said.
"We have an emergency. I need to get access to the archives."
"Why is that?"
"It's a long story. I don't have much time. But it may be the only way to save my family and the galaxy from Lady Morpha."
"Why is everyone evacuating the Temple?" Aqualia asked.
"Come with me. I'll explain on the way."
Obi-Wan guided the kids, Bruno following.
Bruno shared the story of how Rosella was kidnapped by Grievous and some of the Madrigal family wound up in their universe, and then recently after Anakin and Gabby came for a visit to Encanto, Bruno had a vision that Lady Morpha was going to blow up the whole Temple. Thus, almost two days ago (none of them could believe time had gone by so fast) he'd made a run to the Temple to warn everyone.
"We've managed to get the children out and sent them to Escuela where hopefully they'll be safe." Obi-Wan said. "We're still getting everyone else out, and the holocrons as well."
Obi-Wan led them to the library, where luckily not all the computers had been moved.
"I'm Omega, by the way." Omega introduced. "Boba's biological sister."
"Obi-Wan Kenobi. Anakin Skywalker's friend and former master." Obi-Wan shook her hand.
Boba typed in his grandfather's name and asked the information retrieval to do a genealogical search for all living biological family. Thankfully, it did it very quickly, and they found out... Qui-Gon Jinn had a daughter.
Boba and Obi-Wan were in total shock. Neither of them knew Qui-Gon had another kid. It turned out, he'd previously been with a Noorian Jedi Master named Tahl, but they were never married.
"Wow, Grandpa really didn't have the best luck with women." Boba said, recalling how Qui-Gon lost Shmi as well.
"It says here they had a daughter only five years older than the twins." Peppermint said, looking at the page. "And... her name is Kara, and she's alive."
"Is she still here?" Boba asked Obi-Wan.
"She should be." Obi-Wan said. "We best hurry."
The group called for Kara.
"I hope she didn't leave." Boba panicked.
"You called me?" said a new voice, startling the others.
"Where did you come from?" Aqualia said.
"Let's just say I have a real gift of speed." said the woman.
"Are you Kara Jinn?"
"Yes, that is my birth name, Boba." Kara said. "Before you say anything else, I know of our relation. Father asked that I keep it secret for the time being because he sensed some great danger was coming. He knew if it was a threat to the royal family, at least one of us should remain unknown until the threat was gone."
"Now I know where Dad and Gabby get their strategic skills from." Boba said, referring to his grandfather. "That's actually why we came here."
Boba showed Kara the chest and explained to her that they needed a blood member of the royal family to open it.
"It may be the only way to save the rest of the family and the galaxy." Boba said. "Please, Aunt Kara. We need your help to stop Lady Morpha."
"Not to worry, my dear." Kara said, taking the chest. "But, if you're going on such a dangerous mission, you'll need adult supervision. Therefore, I will accompany you."
"What's your power?"
"Speed." Kara opened the chest. "You might say it's why I have so much free time."
Kara opened the chest, and inside was a rolled-up piece of paper, and there was a symbol on it that showed them the place they had to go was on an island on Planet Aurelia. An island called Fluit Glaciem, where the north wind met the sea.
That sounded familiar to Boba. It was just like Qui-Gon's lullaby.
"We have to go find the memories of the last time a Doresho Gypsy attacked." Boba said, determined. "Let's go."
Meanwhile, Crescent was helping the Madrigals who came to help learn to fight and with the Bad Batch, they managed to begin strategizing a plan to go after Lady Morpha.
"I don't know about this." said Mila. "We've used our gifts to help our community loads of times, but never to fight anyone. Much less anyone so dangerous."
"My group is used to many dangers." Tech said. "However, magical things... those are entirely new to all of us, especially for me."
"I know what you mean. No matter what I do, none of my scientific strategies can truly explain magic. Some things, I guess, just can't be explained."
"Normally, I would argue that everything has an explanation. However, in this case, I can make an exception."
Tech and Mila looked at each other a moment, but then tried to focus on their work.
"You know. It's been a while since we saw each other." Mila said.
"I got your message." Tech said, blushing. "I hadn't realized you were such a touching poet."
Mila chuckled, "It was just a few words I thought would express my feelings."
A girl from one land, a man from another
Come together hand-in-hand
Her heart beats true for him
For his exceptional smarts
To the specs that frame his eyes
He scares the dark with his light
And needs not be a prince to win her heart
Tech couldn't explain how touched he felt when he read those words Mila had written just for him.
"They were more than words to me." Tech said, looking at his girl.
Mila looked at Tech with love in her eyes. She couldn't deny it, she worried about everything that was happening, and if both of them would survive.
"I don't know what will happen when we go after Lady Morpha, but if anything should happen..."
Mila blushed, unsure how to finish her sentence. Tech was blushing too, but he seemed to have the same idea.
The two got a little closer to each other and leaned closer together. But just before their lips could touch...
"Hey, Tech. We could use a little help over here." Hunter's voice called.
Tech and Mila were reluctant to part, but Tech was needed, as apparently, the Madrigals needed a little more help getting to know the technology they might need to use while going after Morpha. The coronation was less than two days away, and they needed all the practice they could get with the water blasters Mila invented. They didn't have time for twenty setbacks like some of Mila's other inventions. So, they had to work fast.
Everyone practiced hitting targets with water, and Rosella got the loudest instruments she knew. Tubas, gongs, Timpanis, horns of all kinds, and helped everyone who chose musical instruments master making them as loud as possible.
According to what Mila knew about bugs, butterflies and moths by nature were sensitive to loud sounds, so they were a good alternative to fighting Lady Morpha if they ran out of water. They had to hurry though.
Meanwhile, Lady Morpha was having all of her slaves clean up the old castle of Solaris' royal family.
"Hurry it up, you lazy peasants!" Morpha barked. "My coronation must be perfect."
"Yes, Your Majesty." said some slaves.
"Skywalker. Any sign of your son?" Morpha asked Anakin.
"No, my lady." Anakin said. "We believe he may have escaped to Escuela."
"Ugh! I should've guessed." Morpha said. Then she had a new plan. "If I can't find Boba myself, I'll just make him come to me."
Carmine overheard this and went to a private place he could text on his phone and warn the others. Unfortunately, someone spotted him.
"Get Lamenta to livestream in one hour, and have everything ready for the coronation before sundown. I have an important announcement for my sooner-to-be-than-anticipated subjects."
Suddenly, Lady Morpha's thoughts were interrupted when she heard Queen Carnatia growling and she had Carmine underneath her as though ready to attack him.
"Carnatia, what are you doing?" Morpha demanded.
"I caught this slave texting someone, my lady." Carnatia said.
Morpha ordered Anakin and King Ignatius to hold Carmine while she took Carmine's phone, and she took a look at it, finding a text message sent to various Jedi.
"Texting the Jedi for help?" Morpha said. "How is this possible? You're under my control."
But then, Morpha took a closer look and found the mark underneath Carmine's glasses to be makeup.
"How is this possible?"
"Just surrender Lady Morpha! You'll never get away with this." Carmine growled.
"You're right. Sadly, the Jedi would've made fine slaves." Morpha said. "But it looks like in order to ensure no one stops me, I will have to eliminate them as per that fool Palpatine's original plan."
Lady Morpha had Carmine trapped in a magical bubble and left the scene, promising to be back once she took care of the Jedi.
"Everyone, is that?" Yoda asked as he and the rest of the Jedi Council boarded the last shuttle.
"Every youngling, Padawan, Master, and worker has been evacuated." said Master Kolar.
"Hold the ship!" Obi-Wan said, getting on with Peppermint and Bruno.
The shuttle closed, and the final Jedi were out of the Temple, leaving it completely empty. Luckily, they also warned everyone within a thirty-mile radius of the Temple to evacuate wherever they were, hoping to save anyone else they could.
And they managed to get out just in time too, because Lady Morpha soon arrived with her scepter at the ready.
"Say goodbye, Jedi." Morpha said, raising her scepter, igniting its power.
And from the scepter came a powerful beam of light that shot up in the air and created three large balls of light that fired from different directions onto the Jedi Temple. And three...two... one... KABOOM!
From their ships, Jedi still on-world gasped in horror as they saw what had become of their beloved Jedi Temple.
"We're homeless!" cried one of the younglings.
