Generals assemble
(Alexa POV)
Eriska is a peaceful region- probably the most peaceful known to this day. That is probably due to the individuals that lead and protect this land. They are dubbed Lady Emira's champions, or more commonly known as 'Generals', who dedicate their lives to protecting their kingdom and their region. There are six Generals in Eriska, who all take care and protect their own kingdom. Emiliana the Brave; General of Alzdrak. Lilya the Capable; General of Irance. Rhoe the Clever; General of Yoganis. Arvrok the Powerful; General of Dragnir. And Ariel the Swift; General of Oceal. All are respected and looked up on, and all live up to their title with the best of their ability.
Because of them, Eriska is at peace.
Because of them, Eriska isn't in the break of war.
Because of them... Eriska isn't the way I want it to be.
I slammed my fist onto the table, alerting the others around me and causing them to turn to me.
"You alright?" Thorn called from the bookshelf, nose crinkling in confusion.
I sighed, rubbing my temple as if I was nursing a headache "I'm fine... I'm just, irritated that Alzdrak hasn't made any large moves to counter these attacks. All they did was contact the other kingdoms. They didn't even contact Oceal!"
"How can they, it's at the bottom of the ocean." Nathan deadpanned.
...Touche.
I growled and ran a hand through my hair
"Besides, I'll admit that Ariel is skilled in combat... but I doubt she'd be able to lead her troops on land." Dexy added, her nose still stuck in the book she was reading "After all, she is a mermaid."
"After all, she is a mermaid." I mimicked, turning away from the group and crossing my arms over my chest.
Delta, the weird brat was next to speak up "Pardon me for asking, but what exactly are your intentions with all this?"
I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, studying him for a moment before smirking at him "My intention is war. I want the peace of Eriska to crumble right in front of the people's eyes. I want the region to erupt with chaos, conflict, and death. I want..." I let out a slightly psycho giggle "I want everyone to know the pain I went through."
"What do you mean?" Raven asked me, but Nathan was the one to answer.
"When we were children, our village was attacked and burned to the ground. Our leader was killed, as well as her successor; her oldest child. Her daughter survived, but she was taken by a search party a and became a knight. The survivors scattered across Eriska, and Alexa, Dexy and I were alone to fend for ourselves." He began to grind his teeth from anger "To this day, no one knows who lead that tragedy. We only know who they were after... Iris Kester."
"The woman you're after?" Raven frowned.
"Correct," I hissed "She's the reason they destroyed everything we had, so this is her fault."
"But..." Thorn began, obviously finding this hard to process "Why would they want this Iris chic in the first place?"
"Beats me," I shrugged, before giving them all a dangerous smirk "But I will not stop until that bitch's blood is on my hands. Dexy!"
"Y-Yes ma'am?"
"I think it's time we plan our next attack..."

(Crimson POV)
"Lieutenant Crimson, sir!" A young guard called from the doorway, getting my attention as I turned to him.
"Yes, what is it?"
"The four who were sent out to retrieve the four Generals, they've returned. They're waiting by the gate now, sir." The male claimed, and I nodded.
"Understood. Find Generals Lukali and Emiliana and tell them to head there. I'll make my way there too shortly. Dismissed."
"Sir!"
As soon as the guard left I ran a hand through my hair, giving my ear a small scratch before twitching it and yawning. I grabbed my mouth guard and headed out, slightly excited to see my introverted sister again. Though, I was going to respect her personal space. I wasn't going to throw myself on her.
...Nope.
---
"Silvey!!!"
The woman grimaced as I threw myself into her, engulfing her into a tight side hug and nuzzling her face with the smooth part of my mouth guard. She sighed.
"Hello, Crimson..."
The other two I knew snickered at her uncomfortable expression, but Vincent was the first to return to his professional side. He had something pink and glowing on his shoulder, making me stare at it with squinted eyes.
"It's nice to see you again, lieutenant." The boy greeted, bowing respectfully.
"Um... Yeah you too..." I responded, not really paying attention to him as I was to the fuzzy light. He caught me staring at it and chuckled lightly, before turning his head to the thing and gesturing to me with his eyes. In return it... giggled?
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, lieutenant Crimson~!" A high perky voice sang as the light floated towards me. It took all of my self control not to back away from caution. It giggled again and flew right up to my face, finally allowing me to see that it was a--
"A fairy?" I thought out loud. The small creature nodded, smiling widely with her hands behind her back. I raised an eyebrow before saying slowly "You wouldn't happen to be the General of Irance... would you?"
"Yup, that's me~!" She sang and stuck out her tiny hand "Lilya the Capable, at your service~!"
Well... I heard rumours that Irance's General is quite deceiving in appearance... But I wasn't expecting something so... cute.
"T-The pleasure's mine, ma'am." I replied with a slight bow of my head, holding out my index finger for her to shake. After that, along with recovering from my little... brain fart, I turned to Hunter. She was standing next to what seemed to be a little more than a boy. About 19 at most. He had a bizarre appearance, I had to admit. He was shirtless, even though there was a jacket he could've put on tied around his waist, and he had multiple chains coiled around his chest, shoulders and waist. He had skin a shade darker to Darius', as well as dark brown hair. There was a weird red tattoo on his muscular arm, and he had a... blindfold over his eyes?
"You're discouraged by my appearance it seems." He stated in a smug tone.
...What?
"How do you--"
"Mindreading, long story." Hunter groaned from beside the boy "Seriously don't ask. I did, and I was there for hoooouuuurs."
He chuckled and stepped forward, holding out his firm looking hand "Greetings, I am Rhoe the Clever. I hope we see more of each other in the future."
I held back a snort at the word 'see' and took his hand, shaking it slightly "Likewise, sir."
"Oh, and please don't make fun of my covered eyes." He told me in a tone way too kind, grip tightening to the point it was actually painful "I can see just as well as the next person, and I can still kick your little foxy tooshie in an instant~. Kapeesh?"
Ow ow ow! How strong is this dude?!
I nodded rapidly, letting out a large sigh of relief as soon as Rhoe let go of my hand. I began to cradle it and turned to my sister, who was standing boredly by a tree while twirling one of her knives around her fingers. I cleared my throat.
"Err, Sil?"
She glanced up at me, face unchanged "Yea?"
"Where's the General of Dragnir?"
"Oh..." She let out a sigh and pointed to her left, where what seemed to be a one-armed man and a little girl stood in a field of flowers in the distance "He wanted to show his smartass sister a few of the plants that grew outside of Dragnir. Something about not knowing when she'd have an outing like this again..."
I raised an eyebrow "He brought his sister?"
"He had his reasons," She shrugged in response "Though I think the main reason is because she wanted to see Jet again."
"Why?" Hunter asked from behind me. Silver's lip twitched slightly.
"Because our little princey and Arvrok the Powerful are brothers."
.
.
.
"Oh." We all blinked. To be honest out of all of the surprises the Generals held, that one wasn't as strange. Besides, even from a distance I could tell Arvrok and his sister held some resemblance to Jet.
Wait a second... Oh dag nabbit, Jet!
"Vincent." I quickly turned to the male, catching him off guard (pun intended), and grabbed his arm "I'm sorry to ask this of you, but I need to borrow you for a sec"
"Um, sure..." He blinked, glancing back at the others as I dragged him along "But shouldn't we--"
"Emiliana will be there to escort the Generals to the meeting room shortly, but I really need your healing ability."
"Why?"
"Jet was attacked. He's in the infirmary right now."
"WHAT?!"
---
"This is weird..."
Vincent sighed in annoyance for the fifteenth time since we got to the infirmary. Usually healing didn't take that long, but because of all the comments Jet had thrown out Vincent kept losing concentration. And honestly, he was starting to look pissed.
"Do you want me to heal to or not?" He asked, trying his best not to sound aggressive.
"I really don't have a preference, bro." The ravenette shrugged "I'm just saying, having someone's hand on my torso for an extended period of time... it's weird."
"It probably wouldn't take as long if you stopped distracting him." I pointed out.
Jet pouted "I did tell Iris I'd be healed in a week..."
"Yes but right now, we're going to need everyone in their best condition. We don't know if these small attacks will lead to bigger things."
The boy's mouth parted slightly, but no words came out. Instead he just turned his head to the side and huffed, remaining silent afterwards. I nodded to Vincent, who started the healing process... again.
"So..." he began, eyes fixed on the wound "Where's Iris?"
"Huh?"
"Well she wasn't at the gate so I assumed you knew where she was."
"Oh..." I rubbed the back of my neck "Yeah uh, here's the thing... Iris is kinda ignoring me."
"What did you do?"
"I stopped her from drinking anymore milk."
"...She's lactose intolerant."
"I know, that's the sad thing."
Jet, who had listened to the conversation and turned his head, exchanging glances with Vincent before shrugging as if to say 'I don't even know'.
"Well anyway," Vincent coughed and retracted his hand from Jet's chest "You're all healed. Just take your time getting up, you may still be a little sore."
"Thanks dude."
"No problem," he stood up and stretched "Anyway I'm going to go find my dork of a friend."
Jet and I smirked as we watched him head for the door, until I had to say "Don't you mean crush?"
He turned around and stared at me like I just said the stupidest thing ever "Dude, she's my best friend. I can't like her, it's like, a rule."
"Mmmmhmmm~" Jet and I sang, which seemed to irk him even more.
"You guys suck!" And with that he left, slamming the door so hard I'm surprised it didn't come off its hinges. I turned to Jet, eyebrow raised.
"You think he likes her?"
"Totally."
"Thought so."

(3rd POV)
"The meeting will start in half an hour, so until then please make yourselves at home in here." Emiliana told the Generals as she opened the double doors leading into a nice clean lounge. They thanked her formally and entered, spreading out in the room. Arvrok turned to Emiliana, eyes stern.
"That blonde will take care of Saria, right?"
The woman nodded "Don't worry, Hunter will take care of her."
"Uh-huh," Rhoe snorted "Just like she took care of her horse."
Arvrok sent Emi a look.
"Hey, don't worry. I can assure you that Hunter's a very capable woman, and she can take of your sister. I promise."
---
"Can it turn into a cannon? What is it made of? How can you move it? Can you take it off? How did you get it?"
Hunter resisted the urge to growl as Saria continued to poke at her mechanical arm. She rested her head in her free palm, and ground her teeth.
I hate kids...
