Currently Jet and I were having a competition to see who could make the loudest noise, which is why we were currently taking turns to scream. Silver was getting pretty annoyed because she thought we were acting like 'Immature children'. Hey listen I know we're on an important mission right now, but we are still young and have the right to mess about. Hence why we decided to have this competition in the first place.

Silver won.

I pouted at the Foxeen's rudeness, and pulled out my middle finger on her for the second time today.

Jet mirrored me, since he was back in his human form, with a very bored expression on his face, and had his bottom lip poking out which made one thing in particular stand out.

His lip piercing.

It was a black metal hoop that was placed slightly on the right side of his bottom lip, and it had given me an idea.

Grinning evilly, I secretly picked up a small pebble from the path and mentally counted down from three. Before flicking the stone at the Dragon Shifter.

And Bullseye! It went right through the middle of the hoop! I bet he didn't even notice.

'Iris...'

'Fiiiiinally!' I breathed out as we stopped in front of the large stone wall which separated us from the kingdom of Resuk. Unfortunately for me though most of the guards were racist towards dark beings, and will most likely prevent our access entry because of my eyes and Silver's fox appearance. Luckily, we've been able to sneak in undetected many times before.

'Jet, you got the thing General Emiliana gave you?' I asked the Dragon Shifter, who was picking twigs and other forest shit out of his hair.

'Yup. Got it right here.' he smirked, tossing me a bottle of lapis coloured liquid. 'But what exactly is it?'

I grinned 'You'll see.'

I unscrewed the lid, and drank the substance in one gulp to get it over with. Not because it tasted bad, but because after I drink it my eyes begin to sting. Badly.

I winced in pain, whimpering slightly as I placed a hand over my eyes. While I leant my other hand on a tree to support my weight.

'What's happening?! What's up with her?!' I heard Jet's panicked voice ask, followed by Silver's flat voice reply with 'Calm down, it's part of the process.'

'Process? Process of what?!'

'Just shut up and watch!'

I slowly brought down my hand and fluttered open my eyes as soon as the pain died down. They began to change color from one red one grey, to completely icy blue. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and stood up straight.

'That was a potion of disguise, Jet. It makes you look human when you're... not.'

I don't think Jet was listening, since he was staring at me in awe, and his face was slightly pink.

'Jet? Yoohoo. Earth to Dragon boy.' I called, waving my hand in front of his face. No response. I sighed 'Nope. He's dead. Might as well transform while he's already like this, Silver.'

'Yeah...' the fox sighed, before closing her eyes and surrounding herself in a red mist. As soon as it cleared the tiny fox was gone, and was replaced by an eighteen year old girl with pale skin, crimson eyes, and long red hair. She had grey fox ears and a tail with red tips, and was wearing a grey cloak which draped over her shoulders.

'Haven't seen you like this in awhile. Still look good.' I smirked, crossing my arms.

'WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU GIRLS NOT BEEN TELLING ME?!'

Oh right that guy's still here...

'I can transform and Iris used to have blue eyes before she gained her powers, got it? Okay let's go...' Silver stated quickly as she pulled over her hood to hide her ears, poked her tail behind her cloak, grabbed mine and Jet's wrists and began pulling us towards the gate.

'Halt!' one of the two guards ordered, stepping in front of the gate. 'State your business here!' the other barked.

This was normal for us. Technically it was normal for everyone who came to Resuk to be checked by guards before the gates opened for them. The security here is VERY high. I sighed and stood in front of my companions, clearing my throat before speaking. 'Aster, Jerry, long time no see.'

'Iris? Wow it's been awhile. What are you doing here?' The black haired teenager, named Jerry, gave me a toothy grin and lowered his weapon. Him and I have been on real good terms since he joined the guard academy here. However, the other teenager who had dirty blonde hair, kept his spear up and scowled at me. He... Didn't like me as much as Jerry did.

'Oh just another delivery for the General. You know how it is.' I laughed, rubbing the back of my head. Jerry laughed too.

'Oh yes.' Aster rolled his eyes. 'We know... Unless it's just an excuse to get information from the guard academy for the General of Alzdrak, to start war between us.'

'Aster be nice!'

'No no, it's quite alright Jerry.' I laughed, waving my hands in front of me. 'Not everyone in the academy has to be all trusting like you. But there is such thing as being too cocky.' I said the last part with a irritated smirk, while eying Aster angrily. He stuck his tongue out at me before turning his head away sharply. He always did this, accuse Alzdrak of starting war between it and Resuk I mean. He was never serious of course, he just did it to get on my nerves. AND IT WORKS!

'Anyway, you guys said you wanted to see the General, right?' Jerry asked with a smile. We nodded. 'Well then we'll open the gates right up for ya then. HEY AMBER! OPEN THE GATES WILL YA? IRIS AND HER FRIENDS ARE HERE!'

'OKEY DOKEY!' A cheerful feminine voice yelled back from over the wall, and soon the gate began to open up to allow us access. Jerry winked at me, which I winked back to, and he began dragging his grumpy blonde friend out of the way. I turned to Jet and Silver and gestured for them to follow me. But I was glaring at Aster the whole time until we got to the other side of the wall, which he gladly returned.

Anyway as we walked through the busy streets of Resuk, I could feel Jet's intense stare on my back. It got to the point where I just couldn't take it anymore, and I spun round to stare intensely back. 'What?' I barked.

'Why did you even need that potion, If you and that Jerry dude are all buddy buddy and all?' He asked in a slightly annoyed tone. Was he jealous? Pfft, doubt it.

'Because, doofus, he doesn't know I'm actually a-' I stopped myself before I said the D word, because I knew there were a few racists roaming the streets. 'Yeah...'

'Why not?' the (stupid) ravenette frowned, only to get a hit on the head from Silver.

'Weren't you listening to General Emiliana, Jet? Resuk is full of people who are racist against dark magic users. And that includes Jerry over there. She has to hide her identity or else she'll be denied access to this place. Same goes for me. Hence why she must take that potion of disguise and I must transform into my human form.'

As soon as the redhead finished, Jet let out a small 'oh' which told us he remembered the General speaking those words. I rolled my eyes, and continued to walk to the guard academy with the others following. Since I was the only one who knew where the place was, I had to be in the lead. To be honest, I was actually rather excited to get there. Because I couldn't wait to see my big brother after six months of us being apart. The Kester siblings, reunited yet again!

'Iris, I'm hungry again! Give me food, now!'

Aaand I can't wait for this mission to be OVER so I can finally get away from that JERK! He's a bad dragon...
