'He's....he's your brother?' I asked again and she smiled.

'He is!!! I didn't know this either but when Suketu launched a complaint against my step father in the police station 3 years back and when my mother came to bail him out, Al had a showdown with our mother and that's when he knew!'

I kept looking at her sad face however now she was trying to cover all those tear struck marks with makeup. She smiled.

'Al got to know I'm his half sister and that's when he probably took it on him to keep me safe from my step father. It's cause he instantly knew the man had also tried to molest Alice when she was a little girl and guess what my mother supported that too...our mother damaged all three of us...Alice and me emotionally and Al... physically.

Even the day when my mother was standing against Al calling him out Al was practically shaking. He is still scared of her Fari. He just doesn't show it. And our mother only understands money nothing else. The minute she saw Al is a rich man she tried being this caring mother to both of us but Al knew that lady to her bones. He didn't fall for it. He simply asked me if I would want to be with her and obviously my answer was no ..so my brother brought me here..

The step father of mine wasn't convicted! But Al made sure his life was miserable. He should be probably begging for death now but no...Al and his mafia friends won't spare him so easily!!!' she said with a sad smile.

'And your mother?' I asked and she looked at me for a second and then said

'Still tries to reach Al or me faking love but we don't fall for the trap. It maybe genuinely that she is guilty but she's scared us for life Fari. I can never forget she gave it a yes to molest me or Alice...She lost the title of a mother right then right there for me...but Al...she did the worst to him!!! He's gone through hell and back Fari... Emotionally, mentally, physically...Do you know our mother is the reason he has never been able to accept a woman in his life!!!' she said and I had tears in my eyes.

She blinked more to hide her tears and again began applying more makeup to her face.

'Can I know what did Al go through?' I asked

'Its not my place to tell you Fari. He's your husband. It's his call if he wants to tell you and honestly...neither me...nor Alice know what's hidden in his heart! But I can tell you one incident...

I had tried to set him up with my friend Naina almost a year ago. Nothing serious just fun...but my friend told me he didn't let her touch him. They kissed...he was fine but when she wanted to touch him or get physical Al pushed her away. He outright rejected her touch. He's scared of women's touch Fari!' she confessed and I was shocked. 'You are the first woman I saw was able to get this close to him. The reason why I was always worried. I initially didn't trust you. I couldn't digest the fact that Al was getting comfortable with a woman. I mean for heaven's sake I heard my brother doing the dirty talking to you the night I saw you for the first time. Haahhh I was amused.' she said with a giggle and I blushed.

'Al who thought women are greedy, creepy and a big NO in his life was knocked out overnight by this mighty lawyer of a woman who got my brother's hands in pants! You are the reason my brother will ever have babies Fari! So thank you' she said and now I was seriously turning shades of pink. She is indeed Al's sister. Dirty mouth!!!

Suddenly door opened and Avita walked out wearing a white chic dress and Neha kept a hand on her chest.

'You planning to kill me Love?' she asked and Avita giggled. Neha walked closer to her and kissed her mouth and I looked elsewhere. They indeed kept kissing for a few seconds post which Neha walked into the dressing room to change.

'Hiiii' Avita greeted me and I smiled saying 'Fari'...

'Oh I know...I'm Avita... pleasure meeting you Mrs D'Cruz' she said I nodded.

'You are indeed a lucky lady to have found such a gem of a man! Al is such a wonderful man! Oh by the way where is he?' she asked and that's when it striked me. I must talk to him. I must find him.

The guests had begun coming. Alice was busy greeting guests and looking at the arrangements at the alter. We were at the church now waiting for the couple. Everyone looked happy and excited however Alexander looked low. And I knew why. I tried talking to him but he didn't see my face once. I wanted to talk to him, hug him, tell him how much I love him after all just some hours back without telling me he told me so much. I wanted him to know the feelings were mutual. I wanted him to know how much I loved him.

But the stubborn man right now with the Channing Tatum hairstyle looked more sexy yet way too busy ignoring me.

Everytime I wanted to talk to him some or the other person would call me to attend the guests and make them sit.

Oh come on people! You are in the church! It's god's home! You come here for every Sunday mass! You don't need me to greet you! I need to greet someone else who I really need to be with right now...even my Christ knows it!!! Gosh I love this man and what an idiot have I been with him all this while!

Finally I saw him walking out to look into the church hall for the post wedding arrangements and that's when I thought it's the right time to talk to him but suddenly my Aunt Blandina called me...

'Fari ..can you please attend the Crastas!!!' and I turned around. My breath hitched as I saw Daryl along with his parents. His mother rolled her eyes and walked away. His father as well excused himself but Daryl stood there looking at me.

'Hi...you look beautiful Fari' he said and I smiled saying 'Thank you!'

'You can take a seat there' I gestured him but he still kept looking at me however he walked away when I called out again.

It was a very odd situation. My eyes were on Alexander, Alexander was ignoring me while Daryl whose attention I did not even demand kept staring at me making me uncomfortable.

It was getting really awkward. The wedding ceremony completed fine however post wedding at the dinner as well he tried talking to me. I tried to be polite however he was getting on my nerves.

Riya asked me for juice and when I was getting it for her he whispered in my ears 'You look even more beautiful after marriage Fari!'.

Not everything was a compliment. It was annoying after a point of time. I didn't feel comfortable around him. He was forcefully trying to talk to me but what upset me was although Alexander noticed it he bluntly ignored it. I wasn't liking his ignorance and hating Daryl's existence right now.

But things got out of hand when post the wedding I was setting up things for the Baila party...Daryl dragged me without my consent on the floor for a dance. Alexander simply walked out of the party. I wanted to talk to him. So I went behind him. But before I knew I saw his car already leave. Tears rolled down my cheeks.

'Is someone lonely? Does a beautiful lady need companion TONIGHT?' I heard a husky whisper in my ears and I shuddered at once. My lips quivered nervously. We were at the backdoor of the church hall and there was no one here. It was almost dark and it didn't feel right being with Daryl here. My heart was pounding.

'Excuse me please' saying I tried to walk away but I was suddenly pulled into a strong chest and it was Daryl.

'Not so soon Fari! Your stupid husband doesn't value you! I mean look at you...you just look so unworked right now! A week being married to you...I would have fucked you so hard that you wouldn't be able to walk but guess the D'Cruz uncle didn't value what he's been bestowed upon! No problem...your ex fiance still has it in him to show you how heaven looks like!' he slurred and pressed his mouth forcefully onto mine. I smelled alcohol. He was wasted. His groggy voice made me scared. I was left numb and shaken as he kept kissing me. I didn't know how to react. I was scared.

'Kiss me Fari!!! I can give you all that he can't!!! I will do it once and you will want me every night and believe me your husband wouldn't even know!' I was shocked.

Is this the Daryl I once knew? My childhood friend??? I mean I was going to marry him???

He still kept kissing me and before I knew his one hand cupped my breast and I was left shivering. I was blank. I didn't know how to react. My eyes were filled with tears. Daryl pressed my left breast moaning in my mouth and I was numb!

Except fear nothing else clouded my mind right now but that's when I heard a voice...

'Fari???' and suddenly Daryl stepped back and the corridor lights were switched on.

Alexander was standing infront of us. His eyes were filled with tears and his fists clenched tightly as his eyes moved from mine to Daryl's face and then followed him was Nisha, my aunt Blandina and Aunt Nivea.

'I told you she's a bitch Alexander!!!' Nisha said

'Disgusting!!! How much more shaming would you need to know what kinda sick girl you are!' Aunt Nivea said

'Glad your parents are dead before they saw you like this!!! I mean how many men do you need Fari... Alexander and Daryl both??? One for pleasure other for money???' my aunt Blandina asked...

Tears kept rolling down my cheeks but Alexander kept looking at me with an angry face...his eyes had gone blood red in anger and that's when Daryl said something insane...

'Its her! She said she wanted this for old times sake! After all who would want a man that can't pleasure her? Looks like you aren't able to keep her happy Alexander! And come on you are 36!!! Age isn't just a number when it comes to stamina!!!' he said and I turned around and gave him one tight slap.

'Shutup!!!' my eyes couldn't stop pouring tears.

Alexander still looked pissed. He just came closer to us and cleared his throat saying...

'Its time for Ray and Riya's wedding recessional! Can we take this outside the church please!' and I looked at Alexander with eyes filled with tears. I was heartbroken.
