I'm travelling today but I somehow didn't want to keep you guys waiting specially on a festival so thought to give you an update. So this won't be of the usual length but still I managed to write this...So no complaining about length of chapter today 😗

Just when I completed the same I heard claps from Prarthana however alongside we also heard someone whining and crying loudly. I turned around to see Mukku stridor upon a fresh tissue paper. Wheezing and crying she came and gave me a big hug!!!

Or let's say a big pregnant bear hug!!!

'Goshhhh Fariii you are so romantic and so cute!!! I love you!!! I am so happy that you finally found the love of your life although he's a tad bit annoying and wierd but then it's fine I mean love is love!!! Although I don't like the way he stares when I eat! But it's ok!!! You love him and I'm so happy for you!!!' saying she wheezed again and then gave me the tissue paper. Then again took a spoon full of the wierd looking guey mixture of rice-rasam-garlic chutney-Aloo sabzi-curd-mango pickle all mixed in same bowl!!! I could practically puke at it but then I tried to force a smile on my lips.

'Let me pee and come...' saying she went to washroom. I blinked continuously wondering how dangerous pregnancy hormones were!!!

'Yes they are!!! But it's fine...we have seen worse...last week she had jalebi!!!' Prarthana said

'Whats wrong with a Jalebi?'

'Jalebi dipped in a mixture of tomato sauce,curd and mango pickle!!!' scrunching her nose

'Ewwwww gross!!!' I yelled

'Naaaaa... It's fine!!! Shizuka Vanni is so awesome now! She loves my food you know!!!'

Damnnnn and she's alive???

'Ohhh is it??? That's nice!!!' I said worried about my friend.

'Oh she loves my parathas!!! Initially she told me they were a little hard to chew but now she insists I make them!!!'

Yeahhh!!! The famous leather jacket parathas!!! Now I can assure my friend is pregnant and pregnancy hormones are creepy AF!!! I mean if Pattu's food is what my friend loves then I would just say Christ is so kind to her little tummy.

'Heyyy so when are you proposing the doraemon?' she asked checking the temperature of milk in the bottle before feeding her daughter

'Dor...Doraemon??? Who Doraemon?' I asked curiously

'Ohhh your husband!!! The blue eyed monster of yours!!! I find him cute so I call him Doraemon!!!' and I smile

'Welllll ok!!! So you have a name for everyone???' I ask curiously

'Nooo!!! Not all!!!Pfffff... Come on!!!' she says laughing it off however then saying it...

'You are Doraemon's wife...so yeah I call you Mi-chan the cat!!! You anyways behave like one... just that you don't do meow!!! You must by the way try a meow someday!!! You would look cute!!!' she says and I am one hundred percent sure she's a gone case.

By then Mukku was back and Prarthana went to make some halwa for me which I was definitely going to throw somewhere I knew this mad family tolerated her cookery skills however I wasn't so generous! I wouldn't want to die before proposing, having sex, making multiple babies with my Alexander.

'What are you scared of?' Mukku asked holding my hand and I smiled with tears in my eyes. Mukku came closer and pulled me in a hug and cooed me.

'I have lost everyone whom I loved in my life Mukku! You, Hodlimai, Riya and now Alice were the ones I treasured since I lost mom dad. But he...he is someone whom I honestly love above everyone. It scares me to even think of loosing him. He's too precious Mukku and I know his back story. He has been hurt by women multiple times in his life. He doesn't believe in the concept of love. Although he casually says about loving me I don't know if he's serious! If he still has it in him to love me and I'm scared...

Scared of the feeling of being rejected by the man who has turned my life in such a short span of time. What if he...he says a no??? No!!! I can't....I can't tolerate to listen a no from him Mukku! And I want all of him...Not just in portions...I want to be his lover, wife and also mother of his kids. I want to be there for him always... holding his hand. But....I'm scared' I whispered low while slowly Mukku cupped my face and said softly

'You are a precious diamond Fari and I have seen it in his eyes! He loves you...just gather some guts...be my usual badass girl and go tell him!!! You don't want to wait any longer!!! Infact tell him tonight. After all Riya and Ray are getting married this evening. It's like love is in the air...go tell your man how you feel about him!!! Don't think so much...love happens from here ..your heart...don't use your lawyer brains here...Kalla? (got it?). I smiled and nodded.

Flowers??? Nope!!! Candy!!! Orange Candies!!! Yes!!! That's it!!! I went and bought a box full of orange Candies for him. I decided to finally confess my feelings for him.

Just then I got a call from Alice.
'Where are you young lady? And where is my brother??? You know right that today is the wedding. It's almost afternoon! You both are supposed to come to the church to check upon arrangements remember??? You are not here and even that stupid brother of mine isn't picking my call. Will you give him the phone please?' Alice was pissed. I chuckled saying

'He isn't here Alice! I am out! actually I came to get Riya's wedding gift and now I'll be going home. You don't worry...we will be in the church as soon as possible! Ok??? Now relax...it will be fine' I said and she took a deep breath. I smiled.

I opened the door with the extra key and went to the kitchen and kept the orange candies in the freezer and quickly went to dress up. My picked the white gown I was going to wear for Ray-Riya's wedding and dressed up like Alexander's bride yet another time. Taking one last look at myself in the mirror I smiled. I did very less makeup because just the thought of confessing my love to Alex made me go various shades of pink. Who needs makeup when love makes you blush!!!

I took out a small ring which I bought for him when I was buying Riya's wedding gift. It was a simple ring with two hearts carved on it.

I opened the door and went to the kitchen to pick the candies along before going to his room which was still closed. He was getting ready! But suddenly I heard the door opening and that's when I heard voices. I quickly hid myself behind the refridgerator. But to my surprise I saw Alexander still not dressed up. But my heart stopped when I saw Neha walk out of the room after him. She was wearing a bathrobe! My heart was slowly sinking. Tears automatically made my eyes damp. I didn't want to assume anything. I didn't want to eavesdrop but she hugged him and said

'You are the best thing that ever happened to me Al! Thank you for everything and I'll miss you!!!' while he slowly caressed her hair

'Neha!!! Shhhh please!!! You know you don't need to!!! You know I want your happiness always!!!'

'And thank you for gifting me that happiness last night! You completed me Al!!! Now I feel like a complete person! Thank you so so much! I love you!!!' she said kissing his cheek

My heart broke at those words while tears wet my cheeks but it was Alexander's response that shook me to th core...

He kissed her forehead saying

'I love you too sweetheart!!!'

And there my heart, my emotions and I MYSELF was shattered in pieces!!!

He slept with someone else! He loves her!

Wooow!!! My life is such a lie.
