Chapter 1
Fitz pressed his back upon his room door. What was that? Half the things in his room turned to ice. Control it. Control it. Control it. He told himself. A scream ran through his head, sharp enough to tear his mind apart. Rubbing his temple, he slowly lifted his hand, a red spark lingering on his middle finger. Slowly, he gathered warmth and the ice finally started to melt.
It's the third day after he turned 16, and it looks like he's managing to control well.
He quickly switched into his white Foxfire uniform. Today was the plan, and everything's settled. Sophie and the others will be meeting in five minutes. He looked around his room, all the happy family memories for the last time, now it's time to say goodbye. Fitzroy Avery Vacker will no longer exist. He grabbed the yellow-green crystal in his drawer and leapt to Foxfire.

He stared at the others from up above, he doesn't need to know what they're saying, he doesn't want to. He walked past her locker, he slipped a letter in her locker through the tiny slits below.
Green Boots Cave. Now. Urgent
F
Fitz's devilish smile curled up his lips, 'F' he shook his head, they'll think it's Forkle anyway. He quickly went to join his so called friends. Sophie didn't even notice him, and neither did Keefe, who was sitting next to her, their hands twined. At least they're not blinding my eyes. Fitz thought coldly.
Such foolish children, blinded by lies while I see everything.
"What do you mean by that?" Sophie glared at him.
"Finally noticed me, huh?"
"Answer me." He didn't like the eye she was giving him.
"Do you expect me to transmit that?" He gave Sophie a deathening glare and left.
-----
Fitz stood on the peak of Mount Everest, warming himself up while waiting for them to show up. He's not surprised that they showed up immediately after they saw the letter. Sophie walked up to him, "Didn't Forkle said he was here?" he questioned. Sophie glared at him.
"How did you know we're here?" Sophie demanded. This hurts so much.
"I'm not giving up any chance." Fitz replied.
"What chance?" Sophie, who finally noticed the danger, stepped back.
Fitz held out the yellow-green crystal. "So that's where it went." Keefe muttered.
"Clever, Sencen, tricking Foster into meeting the Neverseen with you, then pretending to stay with the Neverseen in order to save her, that's your plan. I wouldn't be here if you haven't done that." Fitz laughed. "Unlike me, who hunts his own prey."
They tried to step back. A red forcefield circled them, including Fitz. "Leaving this quick? I haven't even started!" he laughed villianously. Sparks ignited through his fingers, shapng into a red scythe.
"The crystals." Sophie told the others, who quickly fished out theirs. A deafening scream slit through the air. The crystals crumbles into tiny pieces, not big enough for them to light leap.
"Looks like there's only one way left." Fitz smiled as his 'friends' shed their weapons.
Daggers started to fly at him, now, there's no way back.
Fitzroy Avery Vacker no longer existed.
