The ground began to shake again which caused you to grip the wheel of the batmobile tighter. Those were the small ones going on in Gotham. The worse was in other major cities. Reports had came in that earthquakes were happening all around the world. Many cities suffered catastrophic damages and a rising death toll. It was immediately labeled as an extinction level threat.

The JL was all over trying to help. Conner had even asked for Lois' help in evacuation.

Jessica: I never thought things would would be like this, Kyle. It's like we're seeing the end of the world. I don't know if we can do this.

Kyle: You can't worry now, Jessica. There are millions of lives at stake here.

The two contiued to create energy constructs on the shaking buildings to hold them up the best they could.

Kyle: We're Green Lanterns. Now, we're members of the Justice Leauge. It's our job.

Jessica: Don't get too cocky now. This is far from over.

The two flew up and looked at their work. Everything was holding.

Jessica: Looks stable. Think this will hold?

Kyle: It'll have to do. Arrow? Kyle. Beijing is secured, for now. What's next?

Artemis: Arrow here. Good work Lanterns. We have so much information coming in on every intelligence system. Flash is taking care of the west, no word from Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Batman are communicating with each other, and everyone else is doing their best. I need you guys in Hong Kong.

Kyle: Consider it done. We're on our way.

Jessica: What if we can't handle it? I mean, holding cities together? This is global. We're just two people. Lanterns or otherwise.

Kyle: And we're the Justice Leauge. We have to try.

Artemis smiled. Looks like things were finally starting to look like the old Leauge. Artemis shot off another arrow which exploded and created a large hole to the surface. Everyone trapped in the subway began to make their way out as Artemis scanned the alerts on her contact lens. You had given her one since she was practically helping you with intel.

Artemis: Okay. Two hundred kids trapped in a school over on the east side. Heading there next.

Bart: Arrow, this is Flash. Northern California is secured.

He looked around before he noticed a woman rushing towards him.

Bart: Hold on.

He then turned to the woman.

Woman: My daughter...Jenny? Did you see her?

Bart: Where was she last?

The woman pointed at a building down the street.

Woman: There. We were there.

Bart: Then I'll be right back.

He took off but the force caused the woman to drop her bottle of water. Before it could hit the ground, Bart caught it with one hand while the other held a young girl who looked very confused.

Bart: All safe. Not a scratch on her.

Woman: Jenny! Oh my god!

She held her daughter while Bart got a new report.

Woman: Thank you! Oh, thank you!

Bart: All part of the job, Ma'am.

He gave a quick salute and raced off to the next disaster.

Kaldur held up the falling structure as more soldiers helped civilians escape. The earthquakes had made their way to the ocean floor which was now causing structures in Atlantis to fall.

Kaldur: Everybody get out! Get to the evacuation areas! We'll have to leave the city by Queen Mera's orders!

Soldier: The whole oceanic crust has moved. Apart from what it's doing to our cities down here, it's going to cause a tidal wave up on the surface.

Kaldur: I know. I hope my friends are taking care of it.

Kyle and Jessica flew at amazing speeds toward the rising wave that was about to hit the city.

Jessica: That tidal wave is huge, Kyle. Bigger than anything I've seen on TV.

Kyle: I know. Give me a second to think of something.

He snapped his fingers.

Kyle: A false shore! It'll break up the wave and direct the water somewhere else.

Jessica: Of course! You're...really creative.

Kyle: Yeah. That's one way to put it.

The two Lanterns held out their rings and created the construct which began to do it's job perfectly. However, the people down below were staring at them with eyes as red as blood.

Civilians: Green light. Stolen light. Our light.

Kyle and Jessica watched as their rings began to act up. The construct began to break as Kyle and Jessica began to panic.

Kyle: Our rings!

Jessica: Watch out!

The two quickly moved out of the way as the wave broke through the green wall. The two Lanterns came crashing down to the ground.

Cassie stood up from the destruction of the earthquake and looked around.

Cassie: I can hear you! Call out and I can find you!

She could hear the voices but she could see anyone through the dust.

Civilians: Stolen power. Our power. Our power!

Cassie suddenly felt something grab her foot. She looked down to see that it wasn't just one arm, it was dozens. The dead were reaching through the dust and destruction. They were all reaching for her.

Civilians: Our power! Guardian. Keeper. Watcher. Your time is over. Stolen power. We are coming back. The Kindred. Your time is over.

Cassie clenched her fists as she pulled out the golden lasso of truth.

Cassie: Yeah? Bring it on.

Bart raced around and pulled out as many people as he could from the ruble. He picked up one woman who began to squirm.

Bart: Hey, quit wriggling.....saving you...

Woman: Stolen speed. Our speed.

Bart: Your what.....?

Bart suddenly found himself falling face first into the ground when his speed suddenly vanished.

Bart: What the hell?!

Artemis: What's going on? Anybody there?

Y/N: I'm here. Trying to figure out how all this connects. The quakes are minimal here, but something else is going on in Gotham. I'm en route. Where's Superman?

Artemis: He's everywhere. Reports have been coming in from all around the world. You want me to call him in?

You stopped the batmobile and leaped out once you reached the signal.

Y/N: No. He's helping. Whatever is causing this can't be natural, right? Try to figure it out. I'll get back to you.

Dug into the ground was a large metallic capsule. It must be a projectile. A ship, maybe a weapon. Big. Could have passengers. Things were emerging from it. Large bug like creatures. They began to attack people near it and you pulled out a batarang.

Y/N: Whatever it is, there's too many people around it. Everyone move away!

You caught one of the bugs and winced.

Y/N: Nasty. Artemis? Got a situation here. Alert the authorities. We'll need a quarantine.

Kaldur: Everyone needs to head over to the old quarter! It's the most stable area!

Atlantian: Stolen words.

Kaldur turned around to see many people behind him.

Kaldur: Huh?

Altlantian: The words started here. The words that make our worlds. Our worlds. Our worlds. Where are they? Our worlds?

Kaldur: You need to move to safety.

The civilians began to surround him which caused him to grabbed his handles.

Atlantian: Give us back our words! Our words! Our words!

Kaldur: You need to get somewhere safe!

The people all swam at him as he grabbed his weapons. Suddenly, the entire structure collapsed on all of them.

Soldier: The awakening is starting. Here and everywhere. It is time to prepare. The Kindred are coming.

Cassie threw away another undead soldier before punching another.

Cassie: You have no idea what you're dealing with!

She threw away the climbing soldiers with her strength and gritted her teeth.
