Bane. He was currently in Arkham Asylum after you had taken him down. That was last night. Now he was behind a thick glass wall while a Batman stood on the other side. Not you, though.

Terry: What did you need the six million for?

Bane: Go to hell. If you let me out, I can show you what I can really do!

After some light investigation, Terry had found that Bane's venom wasn't the same as before. It had something laced in it. It made him mutate. He was even less of a human. While he wasn't as strong as when you fought him, he was still Bane. Still way too strong. He really was working with someone else. The question was, who? Terry wasn't going to get his answer here.

Terry: We're done here.

Terry turned away from Bane and began to walk away.

Bane: Don't turn your back on me! I'm talking to you!

Terry looked at the guards and sighed.

Terry: He's becoming agitated. You should probably dose him with something.

Guard: Love to.

Bane: That money was mine!

He banged against the glass which caused it to rattle. The guards rushed toward the cell while Terry stopped in his tracks. He slowly turned around and watched what was going on.

Bane: Batman!

Terry watched as Bane slammed his fist against the glass again. Terry leaped forward and pushed the guards out of the way as Bane broke the thick glass.

Bane: I'll kill all of you!

Terry caught his wrist and pushed his arm over. He then delivered a hard uppercut. However, he didn't see the second hand swinging towards him. Terry tried to move but Bane caught him. His hand held his head while his other turned into a fist.

Bane: I want my money!

He picked Terry up and slammed him to the ground. Bane then ran towards the wall near the cell and punched it repeatedly. Terry got up just as Bane broke through.

Before he could do anything, Bane vanished.

Terry: Damnit.

He rubbed his throat as footsteps echoed behind him.

???: I don't like this.

Terry growled as he turned around. Of course she would be here. Why wouldn't Amanda Waller be in a prison filled with superhuman beings?

Terry: And I don't like you. Here to recruit more soldiers?

Amanda glared at Terry for a moment.

Amanda: That is a top secret project. Batman or not, you should know better than to dive into government secrets.

Terry: And you should know when to lay off of the burgers.

Amanda rolled her eyes and looked at the damaged wall.

Amanda: I don't think I need to remind you that the boy that was saved last night is the son of a man who is very good friend of the President.

Terry walked over to her and looked at her from head to toe. She was an old hag in his time. Seeing her like this was honestly disappointing. Bruce had told him so many stories of this woman but here she was.

He wondered if you and the others knew about her team yet.

Amanda: You have until midnight, then Bane is ours.

Terry: Don't give me a time limit. I'm bring Bane in. Keep Task Force X out of my way, and we won't have problems.

Terry walked past her and headed out. He had a criminal to catch.

Debra perched herself on the edge of a rooftop where she looked down at the city below. Terry was investigating, you were in surgery, and everyone else was scrambling to get things in order.

She seemed to be the one to realize that the family has gotten somewhat smaller since you took over as Batman. Of course, Dick was gone. But so was Kate Kane. Batwoman. The two of you had talked some time ago, and that was it.

Not just her either. Duke hasn't been heard from in a long time. Azral was MIA as well.

Debra had wondered what had happened to them. They were even absent during the Owl's attack a few months ago. Where were they? Why weren't they here?

Barbara: Debra? What are you doing out?

Debra was snapped out her thoughts when the coms went off in her ear.

Debra: I'm on patrol.

Barbara: Is Jason with you? Or Tim? And where's Terry? He wasn't at the Manor.

Debra: No one is with me. Terry is looking into the kidnapping case. I'm on patrol.

Barbara: You know the rule. You and Terry need to be with one of us while you're still training.

Debra: I've been training for the last two years, Barbara. I don't need a babysitter.

Barbara sighed on the other end.

Barbara: I'm not saying you do. I know you and Terry are use to this Gotham but it's still dangerous. Arkham just reported Bane's escape. You need to be careful.

Debra: I'll be fine. Though, if you have a spare Robin laying around, I could use a colorful sidekick.

Barbara laughed on the other line as Debra leaped off the building.

On the other side of Gotham, three men were tied together after getting a harsh beating. Attached to them, was a single note.
