Somewhere in the middle of the Pacific ocean, Lois sat on a rock while Conner hovered in front of her. This was a lot to take in right now. Especially considering this was his future daughter with a girl he just started a relationship with. Said girl was hovering behind Conner.

Cassie: Are you sure this will work?

Conner: Maybe.

Lois: Are you sure this is safe?

Conner: We're three thousand miles from the nearest human being. And I promise to protect any dolphins who get in the way. Now, relax.

Lois: I am relaxing.

Conner: No. You're concentrating. Trying to control it. Just...let it go.

Conner knew how she felt more than anyone else in the world right now. He was the same way before he met you and the others. For so long, he was afraid. He wondered if anyone would be safe again.

Lois sighed and closed her eyes.

Lois: Okay. But I don't know if this is such a good idea....

The energy from before surrounded her as Conner moved to better protect Cassie from what was going to happen. Lois let out a cry as the yellow energy grew and started to destroy the rock below her. Slowly, it calmed down. Conner smiled as Lois let out a sigh.

Conner: There you go. Good job. You burned it out. How does it feel?

Lois: Like the best sneeze I've ever had. Or a real good cry.

Conner: Nice. High five.

He held out his hand and his daughter gave him a high five.

Lois: I'm...I'm really sorry for everything.

Cassie: It's not your fault. And don't worry about it, we're going to take care of it.

Lois: How?

Conner: Bat....Y/N is looking into something that could help. A serum that was being crested to help the original Superman if something happened. Something like this.

Cassie: If anyone can find it, it's him.

Lois: Wait, find it?

Conner: It went missing after the JL vanished.

Elsewhere, you and Hel flew in the Batwing with Conner on the coms.

Y/N: We're mapping all the points where a spike of energy similar to the machine that makes the serum have been found. Cross-referencing solar winds, storm fronts, anything that can carry the signal...

Conner: And what have you got? Where is it coming from?

Y/N: We haven't checked it yet. But we'll let you know when we do. Just hang tight and keep Lois out of trouble.

Conner wished you luck and turned off his com. You kept flying in silence before you felt your seat get kicked.

Hel: You lied to him.

Y/N: So?

Hel: It doesn't bother you? You just lied to your best friend.

Y/N: For his own good. We have no idea what kind of weapons these people have.

She didn't respond but you could tell she was glaring at you. You've known this girl for a few hours now. How the hell did she make you feel so guilty? Is this what having a kid does to you? You hated this.

Hel: So the signal is coming from here?

Y/N: Yes. Reelasia. A crime infested dump ran by drug lords and gun smugglers. That's until a strongman reformer named Kaizen Gamorra took over. Now the place is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. He even renamed it New Gamorra.

Hel looked at the picture of the man for a moment.

Hel: So when do we get there?

You raised a brow.

Y/N: That's it? No secret call to your friend?

Hel: Hell no.

Y/N: Language, young lady.

Oh God. What have you become?

Y/N: Why not?

Hel: Let's just say, I have a personal vendetta against this guy in my time.

Hel: Lot of creeps staring at us.

Y/N: And I'll break their wrists if they touch you.

You were now at New Gamorra where the President's Ball happened to be taking place. And who had an invite? Y/N Wayne. Now you were dressed in a tux while Helena wore Cassandra's dress that was still in the Batwing after a charity ball was interrupted.

Y/N: So, now that we have time to talk about this, you said that your my daughter with Cassandra.

Hel: Yep.

Y/N: Uh, how old are you?

Hel: 16.

Y/N: Oh. And why did you take the Huntress identity?

Hel: Helena retired and gave me the costume because I didn't want to be Robin anymore. We, me and you, got into an argument.

You looked at her for a moment before turning your attention back on the crowd.

Y/N: I'm sorry.

Hel: It wasn't even your fault.

Y/N: But I'm sure I didn't handle it the way I should have.

It was now Hel's turn to look at you.

Y/N: You also look good in that dress. Maybe you can meet your mom after we're done with this.

Hel turned her attention back onto the crowd.

Hel: You know, people always called me a daddy's girl. Everyone. Seeing you this young...it's so weird to me. And, I'm sorry for the argument to. Though, you really didn't need to tell me to fix the costume to "show less skin".

Y/N: If it was Helena's, it showed too much skin.

Hel looked at you and gently smacked your shoulder.

Hel: It was fine.

Y/N: Not for my teenage daughter. Now, I have a plan.

Hel: Shoot.

Y/N: Stomp into that room like you're angry.

Hel: I got it. Just follow my lead.

Hel let go of your arm and stormed over the hall where a waiter was walking out of. She walked past him.

Waiter: Ah..excuse me, Ma'am! That area is off limits to...

Hel: Back off!

You then walked over and handed the waiter a stack of bills with a wink.

Y/N: Yeah. I wouldn't get in her way when she's that mad. Do me a favor and let her cool down in private?

Waiter: Ah. Yes, Sir, Mr. Wayne.

You felt a hand on your shoulder and you turned around to find Kaizen standing there.

Kaizen: Mr. Wayne. I hope you're not having too much trouble with our ladies tonight.

Y/N: It's my fault. I brought her with me.

Hel looked around and found the room she was looking for. She entered the dsrk room and activated the database.

Hel: Alright. I started. Just keep him distracted.

Y/N: Nice country you built. Already the fourth largest economy in Asia. Kinda disappointed that you haven't been fishing for over seas investors.

Kaizen: Well, when you take other people's money, they have this idea that they can tell you what to do. You see, I like surprising people.

Hel: My god.

Hel downloaded the files and quickly left the room. She found you talking to Kaizen and marched over to you.

Hal: Y/N? Could I speak to you in private?

She grabbed your wrist and pulled you along.

Y/N: I'm terribly sorry, Mr. Gamorra. I think I'm due to get slapped again.

Kaizen: I understand completely, Mr. Wayne. Duty calls.

Now back in your uniforms, you looked over the file in the Batwing.

Y/N: Conner, where are you?

Conner: About two klicks away.

Y/N: What?

Cassie: Y/N, come on. Do you really think you can keep secrets from us?

You shook your head.

Y/N: Look, you need to get as far away as you can from Lois.

Conner: We've been over this. She got it out of her system for now.

Y/N: I just looked at Kaizen's files. She's going to blow. And when that happens...

Conner: I'll take care of it.

Y/N: No. I'll take care of it. I have the serum.

Conner looked back at Lois who was flying behind him and Cassie.

Conner: I'm guessing you have super hearing to. You don't have to worry. We can...

Lois grabbed his arm and flung him to the ground before kicking Cassie away. She then flew straight up.

Conner: Lois! Wait!

Lois: Don't follow me! I don't want to hurt anyone else!

The yellow energy surrounded her again as she flew up towards the atmosphere. Conner leaped off the ground to follow her while Cassie watched in anticipation.

Conner: Calm down! We'll figure this out!

Lois flew as high as she could before the energy became too much.

Lois: AhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHH!

And just like that, it erupted. Her body was covered in yellow energy and the shock wave sent Conner and Cassie off course. Lois' unconscious body fell toward the earth below. Conner quickly flew up and caught her.

Y/N: Conner!

Conner held her closely as the energy began to emerge again. Conner opened his eyes and Cassie watched as the energy transfered from Lois to him.

Conner: Ahhhhhhh!

And just like that, the two began to fall down towards the Earth below. Cassie watched in horror as she flew to catch them.
