Fathers and Daughters Pt. 2
Good news and bad news. Well, actually, both were bad news. Bad news one, this new Huntress wasn't lying. You ran the test and sure enough, she's your daughter. You had tranquilized your daughter. If Cassandra found out about this, you were going to die.
Hel: Scoot over.
Y/N: Hrn.
You were now sitting at the batcomputer while Hel stood behind you. She was trying to look over your shoulder but you didn't like to be bothered while you worked. This girl was just so careless and free.
Hel: What? You don't think I would activate a trap I couldn't escape. I would've to. If you didn't stick me. Not cool, by the way.
Y/N: Hrn.
You stood up and stepped aside so that she could do her thing. She knew her way around the computer. Down to the password overdrives and the custom keystroke commands. This was just getting weird.
Hel: Alright, let me show you what I was talking about. I told you about Lois, right? My best friend and fellow hero?
Y/N: You called her Power Girl.
Hel: Right. Next to Superman, she's the strongest person I know. When we were sent here, that Jokar guy did something to her. Her powers are all weird now. She's having a hard time controlling them and...
Y/N: That could be dangerous. Where is she now?
Hel rubbed the back of her neck and laughed awkwardly.
Hel: About that.....I dunno. I tried to contact her but I can't get a signal.
Nothing can ever be this easy, could it. Suddenly, you had an idea.
Y/N: You said her name was Kent. Lois Kent?
Hel nodded.
Y/N: And since you came here, I'm guessing she'll be looking for her father as well.
Hel suddenly came to the same conclusion you did. She began to smile and even a little cheery.
Hel: Can I say the thing?
You raised a brow.
Y/N: The, thing?
Hel: Yeah. The thing.
What was she talking about?
Y/N: Uh, sure.
Hel struck a pose and pointed at the Batwing.
Hel: To the Batwing, Batman!
Y/N: Do....Do I say that in the future?
Hel slowly lowered her arm.
Hel: Well, you used to say it a lot when I was kid. Back when I was still Robin. Uh, you kinda stopped when I got older. I always thought it was fun, though.
You slightly smiled.
Y/N: Alright then. Let's go.

Conner and Cassie sat on the couch as the movie played on the TV. Cassie was cozy on Conner's shoulder while Conner was watching the movie with great interest.
Cassie: I can't believe you've never seen Lord of the Rings before.
Conner: Me neither. This is so, epic.
Cassie laughed at Conner's child-like awe before Conner suddenly snapped his head left.
Cassie: What's up?
Conner: Uh, I think I heard someone scream.
There it was again! Conner sat up with Cassie and listened closely.
Conner: Someone's attacking Smallville!
He stood up and raced upstairs to change before he came back down. Cassie was already in costume by the time he got back.
Cassie: Led the way.
Conner: Alright.
The two flew out of the house, before Conner came back and paused the movie.
Conner: I'll be back for you.
He then flew back out of the house.
Lois tried her best to cover her eyes while also trying to fly away from the town below. Civilians were running away as Lois struggled with her powers. Suddenly, her flight gave out which sent her huddling toward the ground.
Conner and Cassie hovered over the small town to see that there was some damage, but not too much. Conner's eyes landed on Lois who was on her knees crying as the lasers got worse.
Conner: Evacuate anyone who's still here. I'll take care of, whoever that is.
Cassie nodded and flew off while Conner flew down. A little boy and his dog contiued to run before Lois couldn't hold it anymore. She opened her eyes and two lasers shot from her eyes and directly at the boy. Conner flew in and blocked them with his chest.
Conner: That's enough of that!
He then flew forward and grabbed Lois. He flew her up toward the night sky. She was scared. Confused. Conner knew exactly how she felt.
Conner: Now, let's get you somewhere where you can't hurt anyone...
Lois: Let go of me!
She suddenly grabbed Conner and threw him down. As he was hurdled down to the street, you and Hel arrived in the Batwing.
Y/N: Your friend is out of control.
Hel: She isn't like this normally! I swear!
Y/N: I believe you. Still, we have to restrain her before this escalates anymore.
Conner picked himself up. He could hear her heart beat. Her ragged breath. She didn't mean to throw him that hard. Lois slowly lowered herself to the ground with a scared face.
Lois: Superman...I didn't...
Y/N: Superman, back off!
Conner: Bats? I can't back off. She needs help. She's scared and out of control.
Y/N: Whatever she has could affect you to.
Conner: And I'm sure you got a plan for that.
Y/N: And I don't want to use it....
Conner: Sorry, Batman. I can't talk.
You frowned when you realized he turned off communications.
Hel: Ha! He hung up on you. So, uh, you do have a plan, right?
Y/N: I'm Batman. I always have a plan.
You directed the Batwing around the small town as Conner faced Lois.
Conner: Now, you need to calm down. I know how you feel right now. Out of control. Sacred. Confused. I can help you. You just have to...
Lois stepped back when he tried to reach out. She shook her head as her entire body began to shake. You tossed back the communication ear bud to Hel who looked at you confused.
Y/N: Talk to her. Calm her down.
Conner heard you and took off his ear piece and slowly handed it to Lois.
Conner: Take it. Someone wants to talk to you.
Lois looked at Conner for a moment and slowly took the ear piece. She placed it in her ear.
Hel: Lois, this is Helena. Just head for the stratosphere.
Lois: You don't understand, Helena. If I move....if I speak over a whisper...I'm gonna split the world apart.
Conner looked around before he spotted one of the large rocks in the nearby park.
Hel: Okay...Okay. Just stay calm. We're...we're gonna help you.
Lois looked behind her and saw Conner's shoes just above her eyeline.
Lois: Here he comes. This is it, isn't it.
Hel: What are you talking about? He's your dad and he's Superman! He's not going to hurt you.
Conner lifted the large rock and slammed it down onto Lois while you and Helena watched from above.
Hel: Oop.
Y/N: Huh. Guess I'm not bad dad anymore.
You brought the Batwing down to a nearby roof where you and Hel jumped out. You both swung to the street below just as Cassie landed next to Conner.
Cassie: Did you, crush her with a rock?
Conner: I couldn't come up with anything else.
The two then turned to you and Hel.
Cassie: Helena?
Conner: thanks for the heads up, Batman. What's going on?
He picked up the rock and tossed it aside so that you all could see the stunned Lois. She slowly sat up as Conner kneeled down next to her.
Conner: Sorry about that.
Lois: That, seriously hurts.
Cassie: Are you alright?
Lois: I'm, I'm alright. But I can still feel it. Just beneath the surface, trying to break out.
Conner: Well, it's night now. The sun isn't out. You're Kryptonian, right?
Lois shrugged.
Lois: Something like that.
Hel: Heh. Uh, maybe we should explain the situation to them.
Cassie: Yeah, what's going on?
You and Hel looked at each other before Lois slowly stood up. Conner helped her until she was steady on her feet.
Lois: I'm, I'm your daughter. We're from the future.
Conner and Cassie's eyes grew wide as they looked at each other.
Cassie: Uh....
Conner: Uh....
Hel: If it helps, my dad shot me with a tranquilizer.
Lois: Well, I guess it beats a rock.
Y/N: Does it?
