DANIEL RICCIARDO TO JOIN RENAULT FOR THE 2019 SEASON
"Damn Daniel."
Larissa laughed as she was reading the news article about the departure of Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull.
"Don't act so surprised Lara, you've known for months that I was leaving." Daniel Ricciardo laughed as he was laying next to his best friend on her yacht, since she had invited him to join her for a day on her boat.
"Well yeah, but that was mainly because they approached me."
"Yeah, and that was before I had decided that I actually wanted to leave." Daniel held the girl in his arms as she rested her head on his chest.
"Another reason why we both need to kick their asses next season." Larissa smiled as she was drawing small hearts on the bare chest of the Ricciardo man with her fingers.
"Does anybody else know that you're meant to be going to Mercedes?" He questioned his best friend as he was drawing circles on her back.
"Just Anthoine. Zahra would scream it to everybody so I haven't told her yet, or Pierre." Larissa admitted shyly.
"Are you still not speaking to Lewis?"
"Are you still not speaking to Max?"
The pair questioned each other, squinting their eyes at each other challengingly.
"He took advantage of my best friend, Lara. That is you. As much as I love him, he was in the wrong and until he learns his lesson, I'm not speaking to him because you mean too much to me." Daniel spoke to the Cohen girl, still mad at his team mate for taking advantage and sleeping with a very drunk Larissa.
"Are you not still mad at him, anyway?"
Larissa slowly nodded her head up and down. "Why do you think I've been staying with uncle Sebby, and occasionally uncle Micky? I know that I initiated it, but I couldn't even think straight, or see straight."
"I know. I'm so sorry that I couldn't stop it, I feel like it was my fault." Daniel admitted with a heavy heart.
"It's not. You can't blame yourself, because it is not your fault."
Daniel shook his head slightly, allowing one of his curls to fall in front of his eyes. "I have let your father down, Lara. I'm supposed to protect you. I have let Jules down."
"My dad would be saying that you could not have known, and that you saved me in Monaco when I fainted. As for Jules, well if he was here, he would be kicking your ass because you're feeling sorry for yourself and blaming yourself for something which was not your fault."
"How do you know?"
"Because it's the truth. Don't believe me? I will crash in to you on the first race next season, and make sure that your first Renault season starts horrifically." Larissa wiggled her eyebrows at the Australian, seeing him smiling softly at her.
"I love you, Lara."
"I love you too, Danny boy."

"Papouille, what is this I hear about you hating and attacking Lewis?"
Anthoine Hubert questioned as he walked in to the apartment in Monaco that she was staying in, when she wasn't in Switzerland, which belonged to none other than his friend, Charles Leclerc.
"He accused me of deliberately taking him out, just because he's retiring."
"And did you?"
"No! There was an animal on the track! You could clearly see it on camera so I don't know why everyone keeps accusing me of deliberately taking him out!"
Anthoine stared at his best friend carefully, seeing how riled up she was getting and knew that something else was on her mind.
It could be the only explanation.
"What's the real reason why you're so worked up?"
Larissa stared at the French man in betrayal, seeing him staring at her in concern.
"All the trophies are gone, Anthoine. Every single trophy that both my dad and I earned are gone." Larissa admitted as tears welled up in her eyes.
She began to sob at the thought of never seeing her father's trophies again, since they were all that she had left of him.
She didn't care about losing her trophies.
She cared about her father's.
Anthoine's eyes widened at the news of the missing trophies and immediately rushed to her side, wrapping his arms against her body. He began to soothe her, rubbing circles on her back with one hand whilst using the other to run through her hair.
"I sent Uncle Kimi to get some of my belongings, but he said that the trophies are all gone. There was no sign of a break in so they must've had a key but I changed the locks, I don't know how they could have-" Larissa's voice broke as she sobbed against his chest, hearing him whisper to her in French in an attempt to comfort her.
"Hey, shhhh. We'll get them back, I promise you." Anthoine knew that she didn't care about her own trophies disappearing, but that she cared deeply for the trophies that belonged to her father.
He didn't know if he could stay true to his promise, but he had to reassure her, because he was well aware of the up and coming race of the Italian Grand Prix.
Monza was two races away.
The anniversary of the death of Luiz Cohen was fast approaching.
And Anthoine Hubert did not know if Larissa Cohen was going to make it out of the race...
Alive.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite Brazilian."
Larissa Cohen rolled her eyes as she gave the brown haired boy the middle finger, seeing him smirk at her.
"Your favorite Brazilian's Senna. We both know that I'm not even in the top fifty." Larissa smiled as the boy pressed a gentle kiss to her temple before taking a seat beside her.
"Well I am not your favorite Dutch person, so why should you be my favorite?"
Nyck De Vries winked playfully at the Cohen girl, seeing how her face scrunched up for a moment before it faded back in to her bright smile.
"You've been promoted, congratulations on pole position. Which is, coincidentally, the only pole position that you'll ever get." Larissa smirked at the Dutch boy, seeing him lean his head back as he laughed.
"Oh I'm so honored, you may as well tell me that you love me, now." Nyck teased the Brazilian woman currently sitting in front of him with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
"Says the guy that told me that he loved me the day he met me." Larissa teased him back, also wiggling her eyebrows at him.
"Hey! I was in love!"
Nyck laughed as he remembered the very first day that he had met the daughter of Luiz Cohen, when he had just turned fifteen, and had immediately blurted out that he loved her.
"You didn't even say hi! You just shouted at me as soon as you came near me, do you have any idea how much I jumped? I practically became a Kangaroo!" Larissa raised her voice as she laughed at him and the memory, seeing his features blush and become a bright shade of pink.
"It wasn't deliberate!" Nyck practically shouted, before the two of them burst in to a fit of laughter.
"It felt deliberate!"
The laughter eventually died down between the two of them, as Larissa was staring down at her double espresso which was placed in front of her, stirring it repeatedly.
Nyck De Vries watched the Cohen girl for ten minutes, watching as she seemed to zone out as she stirred her drink, and realised that she had a lot on her mind.
Which was nothing new.
The pair often spoke by text, since they weren't able to catch up in person a lot because of their busy schedules and so he was aware of a few of her issues, and he felt incredibly sorry for her.
He wished that he had been able to be there for her more, since whilst the duo could laugh and joke, he knew that the girl that was sitting next to him, was a shell of the person that she once was.
He knew that it was due to the pressures of joining Formula One.
That, and having to fear for her life because of her grandfather.
"Nyck? Lieve?"
Nyck noticed how Larissa's eyes widened in panic for a second, snapping out from her trance to hurriedly grab her bag and her jacket.
"I have no idea what's happening right now, but I'll get you out of here." Nyck grabbed his phone and his jacket before he too rushed to his feet, since he could see how frantic the Brazilian was to get away from the approaching Max Verstappen.
"Lieve, wait!"
Max Verstappen ran towards the two of them, since he had not expected to see them at a café in Monaco since he had been told that she was staying in Switzerland with Mick for the week.
"Maat, blijf achter! Wat er ook is gebeurd, ze wil duidelijk niet met je praten." Nyck spoke to his fellow country man as he wrapped his arm around the shoulders of his friend in an attempt to take her away from the Red Bull driver.
Max couldn't believe that Nyck was telling him to stay away from Larissa, because whilst he knew that he had messed up, by sleeping with the girl when she was black out drunk, it was a mistake.
Surely he deserved a second chance, right?
"Larissa, please! Talk to me!" Max was able to run in front of the Brazilian, with his hands reaching out to grab her hands and pull her towards him.
Larissa glared coldly at him, her face morphing in to a familiar person, whose death anniversary was fast approaching.
"Get the fuck out of my face, Verstappen." Larissa pulled her hands free of his grip, before she took a step back to be flat against the chest of the De Vries boy who refused to leave her side.
Max faltered as his last name left her lips, since she had never called him by his last name before. His face fell, his chest deflated and his shoulders sagged as he felt his heart being ripped out of his chest.
"Lieve ple-"
"She told you to back off." Nyck pushed his way in front of her, since he could see that she was seconds away from punching the formula one driver.
"Hey, you okay?"
Larissa turned her head slightly as somebody whispered from behind her, having to turn her body to see a worried look on a young boys face.
"Get me out of here." Larissa whispered back as the two Dutch drivers stared each other down, not even noticing how she was slowly walking away.
"Come with me, I've got you." The boy whispered as he pulled her against his chest, walking her away from the arguing Dutch boys.
"Thank you, Arthur."
Arthur Leclerc smiled sadly at the Cohen girl, walking her back to a restaurant where he had been sitting in, since he had seen her from across the street looking incredibly uncomfortable.
"Sorry, I needed to help her, she needed to get out of there." Arthur apologised to his family as soon as they got inside the restaurant where he had been having a family dinner with both of his older brothers and his mother.
"It's okay, Larissa darling, are you okay?" Pascale Leclerc stood to her feet to check on the young woman who was always the talk of the town with her two youngest sons.
"I'm okay now, Arthur got me out of there at just the right time, Mrs Leclerc." Larissa smiled gently as she greeted the mother of the Leclerc family.
"Call me Pascale, darling." Arthur stepped away from the Cohen girl to allow his mother room to hug her.
"Come and join us, mini Cohen." Lorenzo Leclerc also stood to his feet, holding his hand out for her to take so that she could be seated next to his brothers.
"Oh I can't interrupt a family dinner, I'm so sorry." Larissa apologised, attempting to leave before Arthur grabbed a hold of her shoulders and pulling her back.
"You're not leaving now. Stay with us, and have some food." Arthur pushed her down in to the seat that was beside his older brother, walking away but not before he shot his brother a wink.
"Are you sure that you're okay, ma princesse?"
Charles Leclerc leant forwards to whisper to her, seeing her turn her head to face him and nod her head up and down slightly.
"I'm okay, Coração. I just feel bad for interrupting a family meal." Larissa smiled gently at him as his mother shouted over the waiter so that she could order.
"You were bound to meet my mother sooner or later, since you've met my brothers already." Charles reached his hand out, underneath the table to take a hold of her hand and squeezed it reassuringly.
"You're not interrupting anything, you are always welcome." Larissa could see the genuine look on his face and smile back at him, sending him a grateful look.
"Order what ever you want to, darling. I will pay for you." Pascale smiled acceptingly at the Brazilian, seeing how she stared at her son.
"Charles knows what I'll have." Larissa grinned at the panicked look on the Sauber Formula One drivers face.
"Uh- yes, I do. I think."
Lorenzo and Arthur exchanged a glance and a smirk, as they both started to wiggle their eyebrows knowingly.
Their brother was in love.
