"How's my favorite Mercedes driver?"

Nico Rosberg teased the Brazilian as he walked in to her house, seeing his former team mate sitting beside her with his dog on his lap.

"He's retired."

Larissa Cohen spoke nonchantly, leaning back against her sofa with her eyes closed. She could feel Roscoe licking at her hand, causing her to turn her palm upwards, tickling his neck with her fingers.

"No you're not." Lewis Hamilton shook his head from side to side, rolling his eyes at his little sisters attempt to reunite them.

"Little shit, did you really just invite the two of us to join you?" Nico questioned her with a raised eyebrow, sitting beside her as she gave him a stern look.

"Consider this, a couples therapy session." Larissa released a yawn, closing her eyes as she felt both of their eyes on her. "I'm a child of divorce and I don't like it."

"We talk when we need to. Usually about you." Nico attempted to argue, though he was immediately shut up by her hand clasping over his mouth.

"Oh yeah, when I'm having breakdowns and in mortal danger, you talk. I want you to talk about your issues and resolve them so that I'm not losing the will the live." Larissa noticed the small glance that the two men shared.

"It's complicated." Lewis spoke.

"What he said." Nico muttered underneath his breath.

"That's the first time you've agreed on something in a long time." Larissa scoffed, using her hands to pick up Roscoe and place him on to her own lap.

"There's too much time that's passed, Lis." Lewis spoke to her gently, trying not to get her worked up.

"It's been two years. Get over yourselves, there's people dying and all you two care about is your pathetic rivalry."

"I was always second to him." Nico admitted.

"You always tried to sabotage me." Lewis shot back.

The two men argued back and forth, each of them speaking about what had caused their rift, as Larissa wished for the ground to swallow her whole.

"Alright I've had enough of the two of you and your issues. I'm not being paid for this." The Cohen girl groaned loudly. "You both felt like the other was trying to oust you, play you, beat you or whatever. And now you're both too stubborn to apologise."

"I'm not stubborn."

"I'm not apologising."

"So we're done here." Larissa stood to her feet, Roscoe in her arms. "I'll ask Mark to manage me because I'm not dealing with your issues anymore."

"Wait no!" Lewis jumped to his feet, grabbing a gentle hold of her arm. "I want to manage you, idiot."

"But you're not capable of moving past your old rivalry."

"I am! Look I'm sorry, okay. We both just want you to be happy and successful. I'm sure that we can move past it for you, right?" Lewis glanced at the German man, seeing him nod his head up and down at them.

"Yeah, there's no need to kamikaze your career by having Mark manage you, just to prove a point." Nico patted the Brazilian on the top of her head.

Larissa began to smirk as she had succeeded in her mission, to make them want to talk and be friends again. Albeit with a bit of manipulation. She knew that the two of them would fall for it.

Daniel had known it too, since she had planned the whole thing with him. Toto had thought that she would fail, saying that the two men were just too blinded by their past.

The two men had no idea, that Larissa Cohen had just played with their emotions, to get exactly what she had wanted.

"More visitors? Wow, I am clearly very popular."

André Santos laughed as he sat in the visiting room of his prison, seeing two people sit in front of him as they glared at him coldly.

"Yeah, about as popular as Paul Di Resta."

Zahra Bailey rolled her eyes at the old man, seeing her best friends grandfather smirking at her in an attempt to intimidate her. She leant forwards to narrow her eyes at him, her fists clenching so tight that her knuckles became white.

"Don't be harsh, darling. He is not as popular as I am." André shot the woman a wink, knowing how agitated and worked up she was getting.

"Max told me that you wanted Charles here, so I came here instead." The Bailey woman spoke in a cold tone, as her company glared at the man before them.

"That Dutch boy had the audacity to call my granddaughter, his. I wanted to put him in his place."

"Why didn't you cut his brakes then?" Esteban Ocon glared at the man who had killed his best friends father with hatred, the words spilling off his tongue before he could stop them.

He had agreed to join Zahra, because he knew how agitated she could get and how protective she was of their best friend. He also knew just how much she wanted to punch the old man repeatedly.

It was why he reached his hand out to hold hers, squeezing it so that she wouldn't snap at the Santos man, giving him what he wanted.

Andre's eyes flittered to their interwined hands, a chuckle leaving his throat. "Oh, well aren't you two sweet? You know I could have sworn that one of you had feelings for my granddaughter."

Esteban and Zahra exchanged a glance, the two of them communicating with their eyes. They knew what he was trying to do.

"It's called being Bisexual, idiot. And hey, that was ages ago, you'd think that you would have moved on from the past, right?" Zahra rose an eyebrow as the two of them stared each other down coldly.

It was true. She had developed some romantic feelings for her best friend but they faded very quickly, call it a stupid crush. Larissa had known, so it wasn't exactly a secret though.

She hadn't even minded, she had just laughed, saying that it was an honor that she was considered attractive by the same sex. It was what had cemented her as the person who she vowed to protect in whatever way she could.

"But the past is so good." André began to taunt the two of them, before turning to face the French man who was very good friends with his grand daughter. "And the future will be too."

"We're done here."

Esteban pushed himself to his feet, still holding on to Zahra's hand which then subsequently pulled her up with him.

"I look forward to seeing Leclerc here next."

"The only other people that you'll be seeing here, are Seb, Kimi and Fernando. They can't wait to see you."

And with that, the two of them left the building, not noticing the fear on the old man's face.

"Well that went well."

Lando Norris laughed loudly as he resided on the ground, having fallen whilst he was in the gym trying to improve ready for when he joined Mclaren in Formula One.

"You should have trained a lot more before now idiot, but we've got some time to catch up."

George Russell smirked, shaking his head from side to side whilst he was busy lifting some weights.

"Lis will want to kick our ass now that she's going to be in a Mercedes, so we really have to work hard."

Alex Albon grinned, whilst he was running on the treadmill, having not wanted to do any weight lifting yet.

"We've come to check on you and babysit you for a while, we figured that you'd need it." Larissa Cohen smirked as she entered the gym, alongside that of Ferrari's new driver, Charles Leclerc.

"Did you bring anybody else?"

"Actually they did. They brought me."

Lucy Appleton waved at the three newbies as she entered the gym with her bag full of different things to help them train for their rookie year, and noticed how in shock they were that she was there.

"Are you going to be my trainer now that Larissa's at Mercedes?" Alex questioned hopefully, since he was replacing Larissa in the Toro Rosso.

And with Pierre going to Red Bull, it meant that his seat would be filled by Danil Kvyat. Who Larissa had met a few times before, often joking around with him.

"Actually, no. I'm going with Larissa to Mercedes. I couldn't just let her go to Toto's team and worry about her all of the time." Lucy shot a playful wink at the Cohen girl, noticing how she immediately rolled her eyes at her.

"So we have a Mercedes trainer helping us?"

"That you do, yes."

"This is going to be awesome!" Lando celebrated with a fist bump in to the air, though his grin fell as soon as he heard the three of them shouting orders at the new rookies.

Lucy was paired with Williams driver, George, Charles was paired with the Mclaren driver, Lando, and Larissa paired herself with her replacement, Alex.

"Welcome to Formula One boys, you might wish that you didn't."

"I bring my team mate some food."

Valterri Bottas smiled as he walked with a plate of food towards his new team mate, whilst the two of them were sitting at an all you can eat buffet.

His idea, of course.

"Valtree, you're too kind." Larissa laughed as he placed the plate in front of her, before he sat down opposite her and took a sip of his beer. "You've saved my little legs the exercise."

"Yeah well consider this an apology for making you join me in Finland for a triathlon." The Bottas man chuckled as he watched her eat the food that were a lot of Scandinavian and Nordic delicacies.

He raised one of his eyebrows as he noticed how she didn't seem fazed by any of the food, eating it as it was her favorite food. He had brought Lewis to the same place and he had definitely not reacted the same that she had.

"Do you just eat everything that is put in front of you?"

Larissa halted briefly, lifting her gaze up to meet the eyes of her new team mate, seeing him trying not to smile at how she was behaving.

"I mean, it's food." Larissa shrugged her shoulders nonchantly. "If it's in front of me, then I eat it."

"Why?"

"Because not everybody is as lucky as me so I'm not wasting it. If I waste it, it goes in the trash when it could have fed somebody else." Larissa spoke truthfully, having seen just how many people actually struggle with food.

She was hoping that with the money that she had inherited from her father, that she could set up some sort of charity to help those without food. Her uncle Fernando had told her that it was something that her father had wanted to do before he died, which had made her want to do it even more.

"Have you ever not liked any food?"

"Nope."

"Really?"

"Hmm." Larissa nodded her head up and down whilst she was chewing on some food, using one of her hands to take a sip of her glass of water.

Larissa watched as the man chuckled, laughing lightly as she began to chew more, before accidentally biting at her tongue, making her face morph in to one full of pain.

"That was your own fault." Valterri laughed as he noticed what his team mate had done, leaning back in to his seat as one of his hands came up to clutch at his chest.

"Don't care, I'm blaming you for wanting me to reply with my mouth full." Larissa coughed out, rolling her eys at the blonde man.

"Are you excited to be stuck with me for the next few years?" Valterri wiggled his eyebrows at her to tease her, watching as she smirked back at him.

"I'm already planning your replacement." Larissa shot the Finnish man a wink, as she too leant back in to her seat.

"So soon? I thought that we would be best friends." The Bottas man played along with her joking, the two of them teasing each other back and forth.

"Let me beat you in the first race and we will be." The Cohen girl smirked teasingly at her new team mate, watching as he proceeded to roll his eyes at her whilst drinking his beer.

She also noticed the middle finger that he was giving her.

She knew that just to annoy him, that she was going to make sure that she beat him in the very first race of the season, and she couldn't wait to brag about it to him, until the season ended.

Or until he smothered her in her sleep, one of those options.

"We have organised this shopping trip so that you can go skiing, not so you three can play leap frog."

Sebastian Vettel laughed at his nieces and nephew, watching as the two Schumacher siblings and the Cohen girl were joking around by trying to leap over one another.

"I doubt they would notice if we bought them snowboards instead of ski's."

Kimi Raikonnen spoke quietly, walking beside that of his former team mate, with the smallest of smiles on his face from the young people's behavior.

"Larissa can snowboard, the other two can't. Larissa can't ski, the other two can. I think they would notice." Fernando Alonso shook his head from side to side as he watched the three of them act as if they were young children again.

"We can also hear you."

The three siblings shouted loudly as they came to stop, deciding to walk normally before their uncles died from the stress of them being idiots.

"You need ski's, a snowboard, gloves, goggles, helmets and warm jackets. You should have the rest." Kimi informed the three of them, a paper list clutched tightly in his hands.

"Dad wants to come with us." Mick admitted sheepishly, making the others stop in their tracks.

"What?"

"He can practically walk normal again, you know. He wants to come skiing with us, he says that he can be sitting down in one of those stretcher things." Gina informed them, not noticing the ghostly appearance that soon appeared on the face of their sister.

Larissa felt her throat go dry at the thought of her Uncle Micky going skiing for the first time since his accident, her mouth following suit, a feeling of nausea desperately trying to fight its way up and out of her body.

She was not going to let him go skiing again, not a chance. Even if it was different this time, because she was going to be there, she refused. She hadn't been there the first time, knowing that if she had, she might have been able to stop his accident or help him in some way, so she wanted to make sure that it wouldn't happen again.

"No."

"What do you mean, no?"

"I mean no, you wanna hear it in Spanish? Noh." Larissa spoke with attitude.

"I'm not prepared to risk it, he's not ready and I'm sure as hell not about to put myself in a position where I could lose him all over again in the exact same way."

"Lis, he's dad. If he says he's ready, then he is. We have to trust him and let him do what he wants to do. We can't hold him back anymore." Gina attempted to soothe her sister, knowing exactly what she was thinking about.

"Fine. Take him skiing, but I'm not going. If something goes wrong, then you'll be at fault. Not me."

Larissa abruptly turned her body around as she walked away from her uncles and siblings, her fists clenching, jaw clenched and tears forming in her eyes giving them their glassy appearance.

She climbed in to her car, driving with her view tainted as her eyes were still refusing to let the tears fell, until she parked up outside of her best friends apartments.

She chambered out of the car, using her spare key to the apartment to let herself in, walking in and closing the door behind her to see him staring back at her in concern.

Tears fell like a waterfall as she collapsed in to his arms, feeling them immediately wrap around her tightly, his chin resting on the top of her head as his gentle accent was heaven to her ears.

"It's okay, Papouille. It's okay."

A/N

I had to end the chapter with Anthoine, because it's going to be a rough 2019 season for her, and this is only the beginning.

This took way too long for me to update, but I had a lot of issues in the past few weeks which slowed me down. I lost my uncle, and my grandmother is in the ICU so the rest of the family has kind of crumbled, so I apologise for the delayed update.

What do you think of this?

Anyway, I hope that you enjoyed this chapter and I'll see you all soon for the next one,

I'm so proud of all of you, my loves

Love you all,

-RUBY
