The big business convention was happening today and I was so excited. Bobby hadn't spoke much to me since the night we spent together, but I was just guessing he was busy with business.

"Hey, Charlotte, could I speak to you for a second?" I heard Shinsuke ask from behind me.

I nodded and then followed him to a table. He had on a suit and didn't look the happiest.

"What's up? You don't seem like yourself today, Shin."

"Uh, listen, I just wanted to tell you that whatever happens today, just remember that Bobby really does like you, and that nothing is his doing."

I furrowed my brows and then cocked my head. I had no idea what he meant, but I knew that it was something I needed to keep in the back of my mind.

I walked off to see Becky and Sami behind the desk together, him helping her as she needed it. I smiled at them, I was happy for my best friend.

After a second, I felt arms wrap around my waist. I turned around to see Bobby and he just smiled at me.

"Hey," he said as he kissed me.

I was a bit taken back at first, but then kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He had a suit on, and I loved him even more.

However, I was scared to tell him that I loved him. I really wasn't sure if he felt the same way.

"What's wrong?" He asked after he pulled away.

"Nothing, I just hope that today goes as planned," I looked up at him to see his facial expression change.

"Charlotte, you have to promise me that you won't get angry with me after today, because I don't mean any of it."

I nodded and then kissed him. I walked off and then headed back to the bar and catering area. I wanted to check on my staff, also to make sure they weren't about to blow up the place.

"Dean, if I make this next shot then I officially beat your record," Nikki said as she lined the candy up with the shot glass.

"Come on! Just miss on purpose, that record took me a long time!"

She threw it perfectly in the glass, and Dean put his hands on his head and turned around.

I walked up to the bar to be greeted by Sasha. "So, you and the business guy are dating, huh?"

I looked at her for a second and then Alexa joined in. "Yeah, we totally saw you guys together! You two are so cute!"

"Okay, you can stop squealing now. It's just a relationship."

"Your first real relationship," Sasha added.

After our conversation, I saw Alexa run off with Seth. They had been hanging out a lot lately, but I wasn't sure why.

"Okay, Dean, redemption round. If you make five in a row, then you're five over the record!" Nikki cheered from the other side of the bar.

"Fine, but what if I don't?"

"Then I keep the record."

He sighed and then took the chocolate from her as Paige set up the shot glass.

I never understood why they played this game, it was just like cup pong, but I guess they got bored.

About two hours later, the business convention had started. People from all over were pouring into the hotel, and I greeted them all with pleasure.

The food was great and the chats were nice. I sat next to Bobby to whole night, and he would put his arm around me, or graze my thigh with his hand.

I really did enjoy his presence.

After a few hours, Bobby told me he had an announcement to make, but I could tell by the way he said it, he wasn't excited about it.

"Good evening, everyone. My name is Bobby Roode, and I am the Vice President of Glorious Enterprises. I am here regarding the hotel we are in right now, The Legacy, run by the beautiful Charlotte Flair," he said as he winked at me.

"Now, about this hotel. Over the past two months that I've been here, I've been collecting shares. Glorious Enterprises is taking over this hotel."

They all clapped and then Bobby looked at me again. I knew he looked upset, but he had no idea how hurt I was.

Not only was I losing my hotel, but this was the last thing that connected my father and I, and now it was going to go away.

I ran away from the table and I heard footsteps after me. I turned around, tears forming in my eyes, to see Bobby.

"Charlotte, I never meant to hurt you, this was all my dad's doing. I didn't even finish what I plan on doing next."

"And what could that possibly be?"

"I'm going to sign thirty percent of my shares over to you, which means you would have enough to override my father," he smiled.

I stared at him for a second. "I don't get it, if your dad's trying to destroy me, then why are you helping me?"

"I love you, that's why."
