It had been nearly 6 months since they had set out from the small village. Inferno had traveled with them, and become close with Tetra and Hurricane. But Tsunami was still holding something back from Inferno. A secret. Hurricane and Tsunami had grown much more public in their affections for each other. Which was, as far as Inferno and Tetra were concerned, very unfortunate. Instead of sneaking off into some trench to watch jellyfish and kiss, they would sit around the fire and stare into each others eyes. It made Inferno want to rip her eyes out. And then throw her eyes into an abyss, or set them on fire. 

    In fact, about 10 minutes ago, Hurricane and Tsunami had volunteered to go and collect driftwood for the fire. Inferno was almost completely sure that wasn't all they were doing. It didn't take 10 minutes to collect wood. Tetra swam up behind Inferno, clutching an armful of driftwood. "Where have they gone this time?"

 "Gathering wood for the fire, they've been gone for a good 10 minutes."

"Yep. I'm completely sure that's what they're doing." Tetra said sarcastically, then wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at Inferno. 

  "Hey guys!" Hurricane called as he swam into camp. 

"Aaaahhh!" Tetra dropped her driftwood and spun around. "Oh, hello Hurricane."

   Tsunami was right behind him, both had massive piles of driftwood in their arms. Looks they were actually gathering firewood 

     Inferno had no idea what she was doing now. She'd had no contact with Stone and didn't have a way back to her home. So the only thing she could do was stay with Tsunami, Hurricane, and Tetra. How could she help her friends back in her own time if she couldn't even locate the root of the darkness in this time?
