Inferno woke to see Hurricane and Tetra's anxious faces peering down at her. 

"Are you alright Inferno?"

"Yes, I'm fine."

"You passed out. Are you sure you're Ok?"

"I'm fine! Where's Tsunami?"

  Inferno sat up, looking around her. There was a small fire burning at the center of their camp. There camp was at the bottom of a deep trench. Walls of dark stone stretched up for what looked like miles, like two daggers stabbing out of the blue of the water. The light from the moon could barely be seen shining through the water. No one had ever gone to the surface, there was nothing there, just air and the sky. 

  "Where's Tsunami?" Inferno repeated her question.

  "She went out to scout the area. I'm going to go and find her,"Hurricane said and began to swim deeper down into the trench. 
 

   Inferno helped Tetra toss more driftwood onto the fire, and dug some shallow trenches into the sand. The mer could us them as beds, and they would be more comfortable than sleeping on rock or flat sand. As soon as a small stack of driftwood sat next to the fire, Tetra swam off into the darkness.  When she came back, she looked like she was struggling not to burst out laughing.
