Inferno finally found the key, and managed to unlock Tsunami's cage. The orca mermaid swam out of her cage, and looked around, her eyes full of fire. Tsunami, Tetra, Hurricane, and Inferno set about completing their plans. Inferno handed the three of them a dagger each. Using the hilts of their daggers, they dealt a single strong blow to each of the slave traders. Knocking them out, and dragging them into the cages. They opened the remaining cages, setting the captive mer free, and then tossing the limp bodies of the traders into the cages.

    They sat around the fire, and debated what to do next. Tsunami and Inferno both wanted to kill the traders, or at least push the cages off the ledge and into the abyss of water. Tetra and Hurricane wanted to leave them where they were, and let them figure out how to free themselves. In the end, they all agreed to leave the cages, the camp was by a commonly traveled route, so someone would wander by and free them within a few days.

  As they swam away, Tsunami told Inferno that she, Hurricane, and Tetra had decided not to go  back to live in the village. Tetra and Hurricane were both fully grown mer, and had already discussed moving out with their parents before the traders grabbed them. Tsunami didn't have any family, and had wanted to move on. They would swim back to say farewell and gather some of their possessions.
