You found yourself tossing and turning nonstop in a restless slumber. Bruce had set you up with a spare room in the tower after last night's events. You found it difficult to sleep despite it being quiet and the amazing view of earth. You just found yourself in a worse state than before. You found your mother but it turns out she was only 5 at the oldest. On top of that, she had the metahuman gene. That means you did to.

Bruce had concluded that it was inactive so you had no powers as of right now to speak of. This calmed your nerves a bit but you still had a lot on your mind on top of everything else. What was Copperhead and Roulette doing? What was the purpose of the children? Who was their boss? There was so many questions but not many answers.

Before you knew it your alarm went off and you were forced out of bed by responsibilities. You found yourself groaning as you changed into a fresh pair of clothes which was a white shirt and some Levi's. You also threw on the shoes you had brought with you. You exited the room and looked around only to see someone approaching you.

???: Hey, you Y/N?

You nodded. You read the patch on his jacket.

Y/N: And you're Hal Jordan? Green Lantern?

He nodded as you noticed the ring on his finger. You recalled there being quite a few Green Lanterns for earth, since it seems to be in danger every week, but Hal was the first.

Hal: Batman sent me here to show you to the meeting room.

Y/N: Did you call him Batman?

Hal just shrugged. He lead the way and you just decided to follow.

Hal: Oh! I almost forgot but good job on breaking up that metahuman trafficking ring. It really helped us out a lot.

You nodded in acknowledgement and continued to look around the tower. It was always lit because there was no real way to tell if it was day or night but last night you were too disoriented to pay attention to it. Hal stopped in front of a pair of door and turned to you.

Hal: I probably should of asked earlier but, do you really need a guide? Aren't you a reserve member in the future or whatever?

You nodded.

Y/N: The Watchtower gets destroy in about 5 years in a fight, not avoidable, so you all build a new one. I've never been in this one.

Hal just looked at you worried before he opened the door letting you in. Standing there was every core member of the Justice League in casual clothing. Bruce signaled you to stand next to him where he began the introductions.

Bruce: Y/N, this is the Justice League. Allow me to start with Arthur.

Bruce: Aka Aquaman. Next is Oliver.

Oliver: Yo. Heard nothing but good things from Diana.

Bruce: This is Martin Manhuter.

MM: Oreo?

You declined.

Bruce: You have already met Billy and Hal.

Billy: Hey bud!

Hal just waved.

Bruce: Next is Barry aka Flash.

Barry: Howdy.

Bruce: Then there's Carter and Shiera.

Y/N: Big fan. Met you guys and your reincarnations.

Bruce: Finally there's Diana and Clark. I'm sure you know who they are.

Y/N: Of course. Superman and Wonder Woman. It's an honor.

Clark approached you and shook your hand.

Clark: Always great to meet another hero. And on behalf of the Leauge, thank you for your hard work.

You nodded as Bruce started the meeting. You looked around and it finally hit you that someone was missing.

Y/N: Where is Cyborg?

Bruce: He is dealing with the Metahuman Trafficing with the Team.

Y/N: You guys keep saying that. What is going on here?

Clark: As of late there has been an issue regarding children and adults with the Meta Gene getting kidnapped and sold to an unknown person.

Diana: The racket you took down last night was one such instance.

Bruce: You said that you had a call telling you to be there at midnight yet our call told us half past 12. We had Cyborg trace the call but found nothing. Whoever got into contact with us did so from a close network.

Oliver: We can't find any information on them. It was like we were talking to a ghost.

Bruce: You said more happened inside?

You nodded and turned to the others.

Y/N: From what I understand Copperhead and Roulette are working with an unknown person. The ones who had the children were also some of Black Mask's men.

Clark: Black Mask is still locked up in Arkham with no access to his gang. How are they still operating?

Bruce: What's more is that Roulette and Copperhead both went missing after the events in Central City.

Barry: Still sorry about that.

He lowered his head. Bruce turned to you.

Bruce: Anything else that might help?

You gave it some thought.

Y/N: Actually, I might have something. Back when I took down Black Mask he was dealing with Scarecrow. I spent sometime undercover with Cane and found that the fear toxin was specially made for some reason.

Oliver: You think it has something to do with the traffic ring?

Y/N: It's possible. All the toxin is MIA as of right now after the Sirens took it. Who knows where it is. There's also the fact that the Witch Boy who was working in Pennsylvania and attacked the Titans was working on something as well.

Clark: We have the Team investigating that now. We'll also have the JLA look into the Toxin.

Diana: It seems that's all we can do for now. Perhaps we should focus on the rings until we learn more.

Bruce: I agree. Everyone keep your eyes and ears open for anything that can help. Meeting over.

Everyone nodded and began to file out. You stood there thinking which caught Clark's attention. He walked over and placed a hand on your shoulder. He had quite a grip.

Clark: Try not to think too much about it. You did good. For now, leave the rest to us.

You thanked him and headed back towards the hall. You were stopped once again by Bruce.

Bruce: If you'd like you can go back to the Manor. If not then the room is yours to use.

He walked off leaving you behind. Diana approached you with a goofy smile.

Diana: Stone cold as always. Are you hungry?

You nodded and followed her to the mess hall.

You sat at the table and dug in to the food before you. It had been a while since you last ate so you made Billy look like he was snacking. Speaking of which, Billy was sitting next to you while Diana watched the two fo you eat.

Billy: Man, nothing beats the Tower's food!

Y/N: It's so good.

You kept eating before you felt the tower shake ever so slightly.

Y/N: What was that?

Diana: Someone just boomed here.

You looked around to see a new figure walk into the room.

Y/N: Who's that?

Billy: Zatanna. Magic lady. Pretty cool.

You recalled the name. She spotted Billy and made her way towards the table.

Zatanna: Billy, did you ever get me that stone I asked for?

Billy nodded and pulled out a rock which he handed to Zatanna.

Billy: A piece of the Rock of Eternity.

Zatanna smiled as she took it. She then spotted you.

Zatanna: A new member?

You stood up and held out a hand.

Y/N: I'm Y/N.

Zatanna's eyes grew wide as did her smile.

Zatanna: It's a pleasure! I heard a lot about you. I'm Zatanna.

You tilted your head.

Y/N: Heard so much about me?

Zatanna: Well, from Billy of course and from Tim and Stephanie.

Y/N: So you're part of the Team I'm guessing?

Zatanna nodded.

Zatanna: I'm also a part of the Supernatural branch as well. Your work against Klarion helped us out a bunch so thank you.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: All in the days work I guess.

Your phone began to ring urging you to check it.

Y/N: We have service up here?

You were surprised to find it was an unknown number. You answered it out of curiosity.

Y/N: Hello?

???: H-hello? Is this Beyond?

You suddenly felt uneasy. Everyone noticed.

Y/N: It is. Who is this?

???: My name is Debra. I'm Dee. I just want to talk. This number just showed up on my phone.

Ok, things are officially weird.

Y/N: Ok. What did you want to talk about?

It was silent for a bit and you could hear her tale a deep breath.

Debra: I want out. I don't want to be a part of the Sirens anymore but I have no where else to go.

You were surprised to say the least. You gave it some thought trying to think of some way to help. You couldn't just tale her in since that would pretty much reveal everyone's identity. You looked over to Diana who just looked at you.

Y/N: Give me an hour. I'll get back to you. Just hang on.

She hung up and you turned to Diana.

Y/N: I need to talk to you, Clark, and Bruce.

The four of you stood in the conference room. You had just told them what had happened leaving them to think of a plan.

Diana: She does seem like a good warrior. If what you say is true then she could be telling the truth.

Y/N: I know her. She isn't bad at nature. She is a good person just trying to look over her sister.

Bruce: Why leave now?

Y/N: Maybe they got into a fight?

Clark: We can keep her here and put her under surveillance if need be.

Bruce shook his head. He stood up and looked at you with those judgmental eyes.

Bruce: Do you trust her?

You nodded with no hesitation. Bruce sighed.

Bruce: I'll take her in. You will be responsible for her. If anything happens, it'll be your head.

You looked to Clark and Diana who just stood there. You reached into your pocket and pulled out your phone. You called Debra who answered.

Debra: Hello?

Y/N: Hey. I have an address.
