Tommy became Sir Tommy, husband of Lady Floor, on a quiet autumn afternoon.

 They had no plans for a big wedding. Floor had no family and friends still around, and Tommy didn't many people to invite himself, so the wedding party consisted of Tommy's bother Roy and their friends.

 A small ceremony was held in the gardens outside Floor's castle. There were no more enchantments and no more secret paths or anything like that, so everyone was able to get to the castle easily, and everyone was invited to stay the night so no one would have to travel through the woods in the dark (though there wasn't anything particularly frightening in the woods anymore).

 After the ceremony, Floor asked if she and Tommy could be left alone in the gardens for a little while. When everyone else was gone, they walked hand-in-hand into the pavilion, and sat down together.

 "You're not having second thoughts, are you?" Tommy asked. "We're officially married now, so it's going to be hard to take that back."

 "No, I'm most certainly not having second thoughts," Floor replied. "It's just that...I'm happy. I have never been this happy, truly happy, in my life."

 "Then you have to get used to it, because this is just the first good day, with many more ahead."

 Floor smiled. "Yes. With many more ahead. I don't have any doubts about it."
