It had been a hard already for Akriti, First, she had to conduct two drills with the cadets today and then she had a pile of papers to deal with due to the fact of the arrival of the three temporary extra officials. As if that was not enough she had to deal with a very angry Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan.

Flashback start

' Akriti had never seen Abhimanyu this livid. She had always seen him calm cool and collected but now at this moment, he looked ready to kill Nair. The only other time she does remember him to be Angry was the day they had gotten married. That had been almost two years ago. Right now Naina was telling her to take him and make him calm down. Mjr. Gnrl. Gaur was coming this way so she thought that it was best if they left.

Akriti took Abhimanyu to her room and closed the door so that he could not leave. Abhimanyu kept pacing the room and askingAkriti to let him go. Akrit realized that even though he might always appear to be calm, there were things in his life that made him angry that hurt him, much like she had been hurt in her life.

So she thought of what she could do to ease his pain and she started to tell him something that might divert his attention " Pta hai mai 10th mein thi , I was barely 14 jab maere bauji ko paralysis ka attack hua tha , uske bad maine aur ma ne milke ghar ko sambhala tha . Phir wo job karte karte kab mere bhai behen bade ho gae kab unhone college kiya mujhe pta hi nahi chala."

" SD ne mujhse ye baat puchi thi ki wo ab kahan hai. Choti behen ki shadi ho gayi thi, to a guy she met in college, mujhse sirf doo saal choti thi wo. She still lives in India par meri usse 10 sal se baat nahi hui. Mere dono bhai abroad hai, unhe to shayad yaad bhi nahi ki unki koi dosri behen bhi hai. " Abhimanyu nodded . Akriti gave him a genunie, heart melting smile .

Abhimanyu had known that Akriti had been through a lot in her life, but what she revealed today is too much to handle, before she started speaking all he could think about was Nair, and now all he could about was to take away all the pain that life has given her. He looked in her eyes and noticed that they were chocolate brown in color, not plain brown. Akrit had let him go now but he stopped her and pulled her towards him and said, " Humne kabhi apko batya hai ki aapki ankhein bahut khubsoorat hai." Akriti shook her head in a no. He let her go.

Abhimanyu thought for a few moments and said, " Hum Nair ko ignore karne ke liye ready ha par apko hamare liye ek kaam karna hoga , Aapko hamare liye aaj khana banan hoga please. " '

Flashback Over

So that is how she found herself in the kitchen cooking food for the staff of KMA. However in her thoughts about today's conversation she had added chili twice in the lentils. Suriji pointed this out and Akriti told him to cook lentils again and also let this one cook so that it could be renovated later. The food was prepared and was ready to be served but the orderlies took Akriti's hot lentils outside by mistake.

Before anyone could eat them, Suriji and Akriti came out with the new lentils and told everyone to take from the other pan. Abhimanyu asked Akriti why soo, and she told him all that had happened in the kitchen, Abhimanyu still insisted on eating the dal made by Akrit. Akriti gave up and said, "Theek hai kahiye aap yahi wali dal, lekin bad mein mujhse mat boolna ." And that is exactly what he did after he finished his dinner he took one more bowl of those lentils and ate them all, even though he was red and was crying due to the spice in the dish. He got up and left with a smile on his face. Rajveer took a spoonful of those lentils and turned completely red because it was just that hot.

Akriti said, " Suriji ek glass thanda doodh dijiyega ghee bhi ." Suriji brought her the glass and desi ghee and she left the mess.

Naina who had just watched this whole scene turned to Rajveer and said, " Aap aise mirchi bhari dal khalenge mere liye. " Rajveer looked at her and smiled, " Naina mai bewakoof dikhta zaroor hun par asal mein hun nahi."

Naina said, " Matlab aap nahi kahenge. " Rajveer said, " Nahi , bilkul nahi, mujhe kya marna hai acidity se." Naina asked again, " Mera dil rakhne ke liye bhi nahi?" Rajveer again said no. She got up and was about to leave when Rajveer held her wrist and said, " Tumhare liye to maine, tumhare hanth se goli bhi kha li thi, to ye mirchi bhari dal kya cheez hai." Naina turned and said, " Goli to desh ka har jawan khane ko taiyaar hota, Yeh mirchi bhari dal kha ke dikhayi tab manungi." and she left .

Rajveer turned to where Naveen was sitting and said, "Teri behen na bade papad bilwati hai . " Nvaeen also replied , " Bel, bel, papad bel, Aakhir woh ishq hi kya jisme aashiq papad na beleaur Woh aashiq hi kaisa jo mashooka ke nakhre na zhele " Rummy said , "Waah ky bola hai sir . "

Rajveer looked and Gunny who was smiling and just shook his head.

Akriti went inside Abhimanyu's room without knocking and saw that he was sitting on his bed with an empty water bottle in his hands. he hadn't noticed her yet. She went up to him and took the bottle from his hands and held the glass him to him. He looked at her then at the glass of milk and back st her. Akrit smiled took his hands, gave him the glass and said, " Thanda doodh hai desi ghee ke sath , muh ki jalan kam krta hai. " Abhimanyu nodded and drank the milk, much to his surprise it was effective and his mouth that previously felt like it was on fire, was much cooler now.

Akrit said smugly, " Hmmmm kaam kiya na, maine boola tha mat khaiye wo dal par nahi sunna apne ." Abhimanyu smiled and replied, " Kya karen apne bnai thi khani to thi hi ." Akriti looked at him in awe and said, " Aap pagal hai Abhimanyu ." Abhimanyu got up from the bed, walked towards her " Apke liye hamesha ."

Akriti was shaking her head and Abhimanyu continued walking towards while talking and Akriti kept stepping back till her back hit the wall " Waise khana bada acha bana tha, dal ko side mein rakh kar dekhenen to, hum to ye khana zindagi bhar kha sakte hai, Haan agr kabhi phir se aise hi mirchi zada ho gai, to hum ye samajh ke kha lenge ki Mirchi bhi hamare liye bade pyaar se dali gai hai." Akriti was leaning back on the wall, her eyes closed and she was red like a ripe tomato. Abhimanyu looked at her saw that she was blushing and his smile widened and he said leaning more into her so that their faces were mere inches apart " Humne kabhi apko bataya hai ki aap yun Sharmate hue badi katilana lagte hai ." Akriti's eyes that were closed opened wide along with her mouth. Abhimanyu opened the door for her while looking right into her eyes.

As soon as the door opened Akriti turned and ran all the way to her room, not sopping for anyone till she reached her room, closed it and leaned back on her door.
