The chances of the crew escaping was slim to none. A certain jedi knight, Kanan Jarrus, had given up hope of escaping. He and the crew had thought that Ezra would rescue them before they were transported to an emperiel prison. He was going through his daily torture session and was leaning on the force when he felt a bond open and words being spoken "I'm coming Kanan. I'm coming." He couldn't believe it. Ezra was ok he was looking for us. Hope coursed through him for the first time in months. He immediately tried to connect with him "Ezra, how are you doing?" He felt shock and relief from Ezra's side of the bond. "Kanan is that you? Are you okay? Is the crew okay?" He asked quickly. Even in struggling he always managed to have many questions. "Yes, Ezra I'm here. The crew is here as well. We're as good as can be considering we've been in prison for eight months." Ezra took a moment to take it in. Then asked "where are you? I mean what prison are you in?" I thought for a moment "Dreary Lane Prison on Mandalore. Why? Your not thinking ok coming here are you?"(btw I made up the prison but I think you already knew that) "Ummm...maybe. I have a few things to take care of and then I'll be coming to rescue you guys." Ezra answered. The connection snapped there and he could only silently wish his padawan-no son good luck.

     When Ezra and Kanan's bond broke he woke up realizing he was laying on the floor in Kanan's room. He immediately smiled and walked to the cockpit. Chopper and Mira were there and looked up at him as he walked in with a huge smile on his face.
     "I know where the crew is being held." He said.
     "Where?" Mira asked slightly confused.
     "Dreary Lane Prison on Mandalore." He answered.
     "Beep beep beep."
     "Good Chopper. Thank you." Ezra answered the droid and signalled Mira to follow him out of the room. After they were in the hall he turned to her and began talking.
     "Remember when I found you and said I'd train you?"
     "Yeah." She looked at him curiously.
     "Well there's one little problem with that."
     "What do you mean problem?"
     "Well I myself am only a padawan and I don't think it would be fare to you. I want you to have the best training."
     "Then who'll train me? Where will I go?"
     "I have this friend and I want you to meet her." He said leading her to the left hanger of the ship. As they arrived the door swooped open and a certain togruta walked in. She and Mira locked eye contact and Ezra could feel a bond start.
      "Hello young one." Ahsoka greated.
      "Hello." Mira answered.
      She went up to Ahsoka and hugged her, and Ahsoka returned it.
      "Would you like me to train you?" Ahsoka asked.
      She nodded her head. Ezra could see she had absolute trust in Ahsoka. After Mira stopped hugging Ahsoka. Ahsoka turned her attention toward Ezra.
      "Well need to talk, Ezra."
