Ezra woke up confused. The last he remembered was falling onto the cold floor. And now he felt warm. He opened his eyes to see the underneath of a bunk. He realized he must be on the Ghost. He heard breathing and saw Kanan next to him. Ezra was happy but confused. Kanan started to wake up and saw Ezra looking at him.
      "Ezra, how you feeling?"
      "Ok." He answered and then grimaced at the sudden pain that hit him.
      Kanan noticed and gave him the painkillers Hera had left for him.
      "Kanan, what happened? The last I remember is falling to the cold floor." Ezra asked once the pain subsided a bit.
      "We were escaping and saw you on the floor unconscious and bleeding with troopers ready to kill you. So we took out the troopers and got you back to the ship." Kanan replied.
      After Kanan finished speaking Ezra was shocked. They really did care about him. He felt really sad and guilty because he'd doubted their love for him. His was fighting the urge to cry, but was failing. At least he had his hair to cover his tears, or so he thought.
       Kanan could sense Ezra's emotion and without second thought hugged him. Which caused Ezra to cry harder. Kanan carefully rocked and coed him to the point where he was breathing normally. Once Ezra was done he looked at Kanan and said:
      "I missed you."
      "I missed you to. Now how about we get some sleep. It's been a dramatic year." Kanan said.
      "Agreed." Ezra said half asleep, and clinging to Kanan.
      Kanan shifted so that they would be more comfortable. Then fell asleep with Ezra in his arms.

      The next morning Hera woke up and decided to check on Ezra and Kanan. As she walked into the room she saw Ezra leaning against Kanan's chest hugging him tightly. And Kanan holding him tightly back.
      Ezra stirred slightly and opened his eyes he saw Hera standing there and smiled trying to get up, which failed. Hera chuckled and came over to the bed and gave him a hug, then crawled to the other side of him.
       "How are you feeling, Love?" Hera asked, placing one of her arms over him and one playing with his hair. He nuzzled into the touch.
       "Better then when I woke up earlier. Kanan gave me painkillers."
       "Good." Hera said.
       After that they looked over and saw Kanan waking up. He opened his eyes to see Ezra and Hera. He smiled and said:
       "What I miss?"
       "Nothing, Love." Hera replied, sending Kanan a message silently. He nodded.
       "Ezra," Kanan started,"we need to apologize. We should have told you what we were up to so you'd know. We're sorry, Ezra, for not being there for you this past year. Will you forgive us?" Kanan finished.
       "Kanan there's nothing to forgive you don't need to tell me anything. I'm just a dumb street rat." Ezra looked down, ready for them to agree. Tears making there way down his cheeks.
      He felt a hand lift his chin up. He saw both Kanan and Hera looking at him. They looked sad.
       "Ezra, you are NOT a stupid street rat. You are one of us, a rebel a, friend, a son. Ezra we love you, just please let us in." Kanan said starting to tear up himself.
       Ezra couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed onto Kanan and Hera and sobbed. They held him and let him cry it out. He was also starting to fall asleep again but before he did he said:
      "Thanks, mom and dad."
      Both Kanan and Hera smiled. They positioned themselves so everyone was comfortable then fell asleep.

      Later that day Sabine got up and went looking to see who was up. Hera wasn't in her room so she decided to check on Ezra and Kanan. She opened the door to see Hera, Kanan and Ezra sleeping peacefully together. She quickly ran back to her room and grabbed her camera. She crept back to Kanan's room and snaped a picture of the three. Then ran back to her room to hide it.
       Walking back to the room she saw them waking up.
       "Hey, how's spector 6?" She asked.
       "Good." Ezra answered still half asleep.
       Sabine chuckled. "Well that's good to hear."
       "Whatev- SABINE!!!" Ezra whisper yelled.
       "Yeah, I'm here." She said giving him a quick hug.
       By this time both Kanan and Hera were awake and smiled at the siblings reunion.
       "Well I'm guessing everyone's hungry so I'm off to make brunch." Hera said as she climbed off the bed.(brunch is breakfast and lunch conbined)
       "Can I come with?" Ezra asked.
       "Sure, do you think you can walk?" Hera answered.
       Ezra tried to get up but grimaced and fell back onto the bed when he tried to stand up. Dang I forgot about my leg. Ezra thought.
       Without time to realize what happened Ezra was in Kanan's arms being carried to the common room. Kanan knew Ezra didn't normally like attention and would try to shrug it off. But this time was different as Kanan carried him out he leaned into Kanan and whispered,"Thanks, dad." He felt happy that Ezra was accepting them as family more and more. 
        As they got to the common room Ezra saw Zeb and smiled. Then he saw Chopper come up behind Zeb and shock him earning angry shouts from Zeb. Both Kanan and Ezra started laughing. Kanan set Ezra down and went to help Hera.
        "Hey, Kid how you feeling?" Zeb asked.
        "Other then the fact I can't walk right now I'm fine." Ezra answered.
        Chop rolled in and Ezra remembered something.
        "Hey, Chop did you contact the rebellion after the mission?" Ezra asked. He got a series of beeps in reply which meant he had.
        "Good. Thanks, Chopper."
        Kanan and Hera entered the room and saw Chopper.
        "Chopper what coordinates did you type in?" Hera asked.
        Chopper told them they were meeting up with Ahsoka.

    So sorry about not updating sooner but I wanted to make this a longer chapter. Over 1000 words! My longest one yet. Don't know when I'll update again. Bye.
