It's dark again... What happened?
I-I... I failed...
What?
This wasn't my plan...
This wasn't what was supposed to happen...
Calm down...
No! No! I won't I... I...
It's ok.
NO ITS FUCKING NOT. I RISKED EVERYTHING.
I TOOK OVER TO
PROTECT YOU...
To protect us...
But I failed... Now it's

who's scared...
Yuuri... It's ok.
Just shut up. You know what? Yeah...
Y-Yeah! You don't even
know the circumstances
we are in now!
SO SHUT THE FUCK UP.

I SAID SHUT UP YUURI. DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO US?! WE ARE GOING AWAY FOR A LONG FUCKING TIME. WE ARE GOING TO BE TAKEN FROM VIKTOR. FROM MAKKACHIN. FROM THE RESORT. YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO BE LABELED FUCKING CRAZY. VIKTOR ISN'T GOING TO LOVE US AFTER THIS. WE ARE GOING TO BE ALL ALONE NOW.
I mean... We aren't completely alone right?
... What?
Don't we technically have each other. I've kinda figured out we are the same person so... Doesn't that mean we have the best interest for each other... I know what you did was wrong, But... I understand where you were coming from... I love Viktor too and I didn't want to be hurt either, but I think... We ended up hurting ourselves...
...
Yuuri?
...
Please say something.
m... s..ry...
hmm?
I'm sorry...
I'm so fucking sorry...
I made this mistake...
And now we both have to suffer...
I'm so...
So sorry...

Viktor sat slouched in the uncomfortable hospital chair that said next to Yuuri's bed. His hands were both clasped around Yuuri's small, pale hand; his eyes never leaving the sleeping boys face. The door to the room slid open and Irina stepped in carefully; Viktor didn't even move to acknowledge her presence.
"Viktor?" Viktor turned his head slowly, his eyes not leaving Yuuri for as long as they could. Irina approached him and put her hand on his shoulder once she reached his side.
"The doctors say he'll wake up on his own..." Viktors attention turned back to Yuuri.
"Viktor..."
"He was apparently anemic... Ha ha... I didn't know that..."
"Viktor."
"He wasn't eating too... Once he gets out of here we can go home... And I'll prepare something special for dinner..."
"Viktor."
"Thanks for watching Makkachin by the way... I really appreciate it..."
"Viktor! Look at me dammit!" Viktors head was lifted forcibly by Irina's hand, tears running from his cheek down her arm.
"What?!" Viktor cried out. Irina brought his head into her stomach since he was sitting and she was standing. He sobbed, tears staining her shirt. He trembled and cried, but his hands never left Yuuri's.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So what do we do now? There's a whole lot of dark around here." Yuuri laughed.
"... How are you laughing right now?"
"Well I-"
"You still don't seem to
grasp the situation we
are in!" Yuuri glared at Yuuri. "Lets... Lets just not wake up!"
Yuuri's eyes widened "Wh-What?"
"We won't wake up! It's perfect!"
"... We can't do that."
"Why not?!"
"Because... That would be the end..."
Yuuri became silent.
"Yuuri?..."
"What's so bad about that?..."
"What?!" Yuuri gasped.
"DO YOU REALLY WANNA WAKE UP? ARE YOU READY
TO GO TO A MENTAL HOSPITAL? ARE YOU
READY TO SAY GOODBYE
TO VIKTOR?"
"No... I'm not..."
Yuuri's voice cracked.
Tears built in both Yuuri's eyes.
Yuuri closed his
eyes and reached
out his hand.
Yuuri took his hand and closed his eyes as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"To put it simple, the doctor said that a therapist is coming in to have a small talk with Yuuri once he is awake" Irina explained.
Viktor nodded.
"And the therapist will have a small talk with you as well."
"Me? That's not necessary."
"Yes it is Viktor. There is nothing you could say to me right now to convince me that you are ok after this whole mess." Viktor couldn't think of any kind of retort so he kept his mouth shut. Irina's phone buzzed in her pocket which caught her attention.
"I have to go." Irina's voice was laced with reluctance, but Viktor nodded with a sad smile. Irina mimicked the sad smile back to him before taking her leave, the door sliding behind her. All of Viktor's attention was back on Yuuri and he felt like he could cry just from looking at his face.
"I'm sorry Yuuri... I'm sorry that all this happened... It's probably all my fault ha ha..." Viktor wiped away a few tears that seemed to slip from his eyes. "I promise... I promise you that when you wake up, we will start over. We will... No... No, we won't start over... We'll move forward... I promise I will hold your hand and lead you forward, even if your feet aren't able to move... I'll pull with all my might, squeeze your hand a little tighter, and never let your hand go... I'll love you forever... So please... Wake up." Viktors tears fell fast, but he held back his sobs, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
"You've always been a hopeless romantic..." Yuuri's raspy voice followed by a soft cough caused Viktor's eyes to spring open.
"Y-Yuuri.. Oh my... Oh my god... You-Your..." Viktor's breaths were shallow and with a squeeze of Yuuri's hand he realized he wasn't dreaming. Viktor pulled Yuuri into a hug that wasn't too tight.
"I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you." Viktor said in between little kisses he placed on Yuuri's face. Yuuri laughed a little, a light blush dusting his pale cheeks.
"I love you too." Yuuri cupped Viktor's face in his hands and brought it forward, fitting his dry lips delicately against Viktors. The kiss wasn't passionate or full of lust. It was slow, gentle, and long awaited for by them both.
"Yuuri..." Viktor mumble when they pulled away from each other. "We are going to get you help, but... You might have to go somewhere for a bit... I promise I will be waiting though! and I'll visit!" Viktor desperately spoke and Yuuri smiled softly, bumping his forehead against Viktors.
"I'm sorry Viktor." Yuuri whispered and Viktor immediately threw his head back catching Yuuri off guard.
"No! no no no this isn't your fault... This is our fault... My fault... Anyone's fault but yours!" Viktor's voice was pleading and shaky as though a clear answer would be the blame. Yuuri knew that truly no one was to blame for this... it was fates cruel hands at work.
A man in a long white coat slid open the door and nodded toward Viktor before turning his attention to Yuuri. "Katsuki-san, We have a psychiatrist on their way to speak with you for a bit. Don't worry they are friendly" The doctor said with a smile and walked out of the room after informing them when visiting hours were over.
Viktor squeezed Yuuri's hand and Yuuri put on a tough face that contradicted his trembling hand. The silence around them prolonged until the door slid open and Viktor was asked to leave the room.
