24. Truth
Pihu's POV
Sometimes people think that they can fake it well and cover up the truth but they fail to understand that one or the other day truth always comes out. Justice always prevails.
Similarly there was one person in the crowd who was a victim of such misunderstanding. That fool thought he could separate true lovers but how wrong he was.
"Say yes Pihu. Say it." I heard Sahil saying. My insides were churning up with disgust. It was nothing but hatred which I felt for him. He kept on staring at me thinking if his plan worked but what an Idiot he is to think like that.
"What an Idiot you are Sahil. Trying to separate me from my Love. Seeking revenge from me and Prayan. Why? Because I declined your so called feelings." I mocked him. He was looking at me as if has encountered a ghost.
"What? Cat got your tounge?" I ridiculed
I could see people staring at me blankly. Well why wouldn't they afterall they are not aware of the truth.
"Let me tell everyone what's the truth. Let me reveal your dirty plans." I said looking at Sahil and stood besides my parents.
"The day you came asking for my forgiveness, I knew something was wrong. Your sudden presence at my place was not easy to digest for me. It was quite questionable. The first and the foremost mistake you did was to think that distance could make me and Prayan apart and the second mistake was to think that I would hide your little drama with Prayan. But what I did was absolutely opposite of it. I told Prayan about your drama of begging forgiveness and we both came to a conclusion that we should be a bit cautious especially around you." I said making his mind go haywire. He was bewildered to know that since the start I was aware about the stunt he pulled.
"Pihu what are you even saying? You are calling my forgiveness a drama and what about your so called husband? What about these pictures?" Sahil said while stuttering a bit.
He was trying to pitch in for himself. So useless I thought.
"Why don't you hear the other part of story from Prayan itself ?" I recommended him while the crowd was shocked to hear what I uttered.
"Pihu beta(Child) what are you saying? Do you know where my son is? Why is he not picking up his phone? Do you know about his wereabouts?" Prayan's mother said.
I ambled towards her and nodded my head. I raised my hand and pointed fingers towards a man who had disguised himself as a servant.
The servant came in front of everyone and slowly removed his fake beards, moustache and turban.
It was none other than Prayan.
I moved my body towards him and threw my arms around his neck. I was crying quietly and sniffing in between.
"Shh-------- Calm down. Everything is alright. See I am here. We are in this together. Nothing is going to drift us apart." Prayan whispered while stroking my hairs softly.
I reluctantly pulled away from him and interwined our fingers.
"What did you thought that I'll fall for your dirty tricks? How stupid of you to think like that?" Prayan said while glaring daggers at Sahil.
"On the day of my bachelor's night, I knew you had send a woman after me so that you can frame me as I cheater." Prayan uttered.
He took long strides towards Sahil and punched him straight in his jaw.

Bachelor's Night (Prayan's POV)
"Hey Guys you keep on dancing, I'll just come in a second. I have to go to washroom." I said and moved away from the crowd who were quite hyperactive.
After doing my business I was about to join my friends when I heard a name which forced me to stop and hear the conversation.
"Yes Sahil, I have seen him here, I have recognised him with the picture you send me earlier. He was dancing before a while with his friends. Yeah! I know, I'll spike his drink, I have already had a talk with the bartender, he'll mix the content in his liquid and later on I'll take him at a seculed place. All the arrangements are already done, all the hidden camera are set up. Yeah! I'll call you later. Okay!" I heard the woman saying.
I hurriedly rushed to the stage and started planning about my next step. My body was burning with the thought that Sahil could steep so low. I was extremely anguished with him.
"Listen, I'll go towards the bar and I want you to monitor me. There is a woman who will join me soon and spike my drink and will take me with her. I want to know what she'll do, therefore I'll act as my drink is spiked." I said to one of my friend.
"But how will we change your drinks?" My friend said.
"She has ordered the bartender to spike my drink, go to him and teach him a lesson." I said while smirking while my friend understood and nodded.

Back to Present (Pihu's POV)
"That woman thought I was under the influence of drugs which she mixed in my drink but no I was completely sober, as the bartender gave me a normal drink which wasn't spiked." Prayan said shocking everyone. Sahil's eyes were wide like saucers when he realised that it was he who was framed.
"After going in that room, she undressed me and took those shitty pictures. Few moments later she left and that very moment I told each and every thing to Pihu." Prayan said while moving towards me. His arms were around my waist holding me safe in his arms.
"How could you Sahil? I was your best friend and this is what you did? You were aware that Pihu loves me but still you tried to separate us. Why can't you be happy in her happiness? Why?" Prayan yelled.
"I---I am sorry----" Sahil started apologizing but was cut off by his mother who slapped him hard in front of the enormous crowd.
"I am ashamed to call you as my Son. Why are you hell bound on hurting Pihu? For your information it was only you who left her and now you want her back. Sahil in no ways you deserve her. Try to move on, if you really love your family then please stop hurting others and yourself. Please I beg in front of you." Mrs Ahuja uttered.
"I truly condemn the actions of my Son and on behalf of him I apologize to both of you." Sahil's mother said to Prayan and Pihu while folding her hands together. She was crying and terribly shaken with the stunt her son pulled.
"True love always wins, it always finds it's place. The love you both have is so much stronger than you think and I am proud that my daughter is in right hands." Pihu's father said looking at the couple fondly.
