Chapter 6
Jenny groaned a little and moved her ankle to feel a strong leg that sure wasn’t hers. She blinked with a heavy head and lifted her face up from something that seems like a chest. And, the moment she lifted her head up she realized she was lying over Jason.
Her eyes widened looking down at her own chest was bare. “Oh my God,” She gasped a little and got down holding the sheets to her chest. Her lower lip shook realizing she was fully naked. And, if she wasn’t wrong what she felt close to her thighs a moment ago was his thing.
Only a little movement was enough to tell that her womanhood was sore. She shut her eyes trying to recall and remembers making out with him in his living area. Maybe they walked to his room too. A pang of guilt stabbed her chest when his face hovering over hers flashed in her thoughts.
Her hands went cold and her body started shivering. She saw Jason shifting in his sheets and looked around his room which had high ceilings. The dark brown sheets were warm while long drapes hang over the wall-sized windows.
“You up?” Jason whispered and she looked at him. She didn’t know why but looking at his smug smile made her feel at disadvantage. Getting a hold of all of her overwhelming senses she whispered. “I have a class. I have to go.”
Jason narrowed his eyes before looking at his side table. “It’s five in the morning. Come on...and, you are still to tell me how was your first time.” He groaned while gesturing for her to come to him but she seemed a little disoriented when she said, “No, I better leave.”
She looked around for her dress but it was nowhere. “Looking for this?” Jason retrieved his panties from the pillows and she was quick to get a hold of them. She wonders how easy it was for him to smile at her situation. Of course, it was a joke to him. A score did.
She slipped her panties under the covers while hearing him chuckle. “What has gotten into you? Why so alarmed?”
“Where is my dress?” She asked back with a little curt.
“In the living. But what’s with this attitude?” Not knowing what to reply to him she walked out wrapping her arm to her chest. She was quick to spot her dress lying on a sofa with her heels close. She was getting into her dress when she heard at her back. “Stop acting like you didn’t want it last night.”
“I didn’t say it.” She replied without looking at him and got her shoes.
“I can drop you. Let me get my pants?” And, this made her look at him. He turned the corner of his mouth up when her gaze lingered on his naked self. Jason turned around giving her the view while she huffed out not feeling great about any of this.
She didn’t wait for him and took the elevator down. The cold air was harsh in the parking lot but she was quick to hail a cab and left for her campus. She didn’t know how to feel about this. But she sure acted weird with Jason. Only with a little calm settled she realized he did nothing wrong.
She looked at her phone and there was no call or message from his side. Her gullet felt stuff wondering if he was mad over her drama and would never contact her. She couldn’t be mad at herself though. She didn’t feel it right to stay there. It didn’t go as planned. The last thing she wanted to do was be drunk on her first sex. Or commit it with someone who she only got out with once.
She couldn’t sleep and get ready for her first class which was not anytime earlier than ten in the morning. Her friend Anna was seated beside her. Anna asked her where she and Jason disappeared to last night. Jenny only masked it with a smile saying. “We went for a long drive.” And, she hated how it wasn't a complete lie.
“Everyone has their eyes on you. But you didn’t seem like someone who will date a person like Jason.” Anna commented as they were about to walk out of their lecture room. This time Jenny could notice concern in Anna’s eyes and was quick to wonder if they were really a mistake.
She looked at her phone to notice there were no calls from Jason. Maybe she had to talk to him. He was the one who offered to drop her home. And, she must have left him with questions.
She got a little slower in her walk while texting Jason. “I am sorry. I really had something important.” But the moment she got out her eyes narrowed in confusion. There stood many people outside and it seems everyone had their eyes on her. “It’s her.” The whispering started. And, some people were taking her pictures outrageous. She angled to her left to find Anna who looked around clueless too.
Anna’s sister was quick to pull her and show her something on the phone. And, Jenny walked to them only to gasp in horror looking at the screen. Anna looked up raising her brows to Jenny. “Is this you?”
But refusing to look at the crowd Jenny ran away. It all makes sense now. He was only sugarcoating his words to take revenge. She was bawling by the time she reached her room. There was no way she could face another human being ever. She wonders how Jason could do something like this. But then his face was blurred in the video. Of course, it was him or there was no other way. She tried for his number and it only came busy. She yelled throwing her phone on her bed and falling on the ground. All of her dreams seemed to crash down. Everything was destroyed. Her reputation was tattered. She knew this one night had changed everything for her forever.
