Ashpaws P.O.V.

I ran back to camp as fast as I could, tripping over a few roots. I've never actually seen Thorns but luckily I knew his foul scent, and found a hidden den behind the Warriors den. "Thorn!" I meowed just loud enough to wake him. "Wake up I know I disobeyed you but, I went out of the camp for a walk and came across  a few rouges scents!" At that he sat up with his fur bristling. "Go get another cat and meet me at the entrance." He ordered me. "Oh I saw one of them, he was little and scrawny, so I don't think you would need another cat." I said quickly thinking of other details just in case he asked. "Okay fine. You lead the way."

Freckles P.O.V.

"Okay I want three groups," I told the ShadowClan cats. "One group will climb up into those trees." I pointed to some thick oaks with my tail. "And the second group will hide in those bushes. Then the third group will spread out around the hollow." This was exciting! I was going to witness my first battle! "But before you get into your groups, find some damp leaves to roll around in to mask your scent." A dark brown tom glared at me. "Well look at that! A kittypet knows something about battle!" "Darkclaw!," growled the ShadowClan leader, "She's trying to help." Wow now Deerstar is sticking up for me? This night just keeps getting better! Then I watched as the cats got into their position, and within a few short heart beats I was alone in the clearing. About ten fox lengths away I heard a twig snap and I realized that if the ShadowClan cats weren't quick enough then I would be a dead cat.

Ashpaws P.O.V.

I padded quickly through the forest to where Freckle lead the ShadowClan cats. "Yes.. I smell them to." Thorn said more to himself than to me. "And a familiar scent.." Uh oh I hope he doesn't recognize ShadowClans scent. We padded silently through the entrance and I saw no cat but Freckle. "You." Thorn growled menacingly, his eyes full of pure hatered towards Freckle. And as quick as a mouse he pounced on Freckle, raking his claws across her soft kittypet belly. She let out an agonized wail of pain, then I saw dark shapes moving towards Thorn and Freckle. I saw a cat pounce on Thorn, landing on him, causing Thorn to collapse onto Freckle. Two other cats pulled him  off of her. Thank StarClan.

Unknowns P.O.V.

I heard the she-cat wailing, and I ran into Thunderclans camp, to get her help. "Bramblestar!" I meowed loudly. " There's a battle happening at the clearing in your territory, all of ShadowClan is there. You must hurry." and before  he opened his eyes I dashed out of the territory as fast as I could go.
