It was a beautiful night.

There was a full moon with the stars and constellations shining down on them.
Especially the constellation The Huntress, with her bow and arrows, walking with the stars forever.

Even with it being a peaceful night, I still couldn't go to sleep so I grabbed my knife from under my pillow and walked out of the tent.

I watched the constellations for a while, but I needed to go and get some fresh air so I took a walk.

It was pretty in the forest. I watched a doe and her fawns walk to a nearby stream and get a drink.

Then there was a noise in the trees and she gathered her babies and left. I walked to the source of the sound.

There was a clearing up ahead, and I saw a man and a girl standing there.

I crouched down in the bushes and listened in on their conversation.

"What do you mean about Aphrodite?! Why would she do such a thing?!" the girl said.

She looked around twelve years old, with pretty auburn hair pulled back into a pony tail and breath taking silvery gold eyes. Otherwise, the goddess of the hunt, Artemis.

"I don't know why!" the man replied " We can't talk to her right now because we don't know where she is!"

The man was skinny, with a caduceus with snakes on it. He had a mischievous look and salt and pepper hair too. I could tell right away that it was Hermes, the messenger god.

I inched closer to hear better and I tripped over something or better, someone.

It was a girl with startling blue eyes and spiky black hair. She had a silver circlet in her hair and ripped up jeans. She was Thalia, lieutenant of Artemis.

"What are you doing here?" she hissed as she picked herself up and dusted her hands off.

"Same as you." I replied "I couldn't sleep so I took a walk and heard voices so here I am."

"Go back to camp." she whispered.

"No, I might as well hear the rest of the conversation now that Im here."

She glared daggers at me and I stubbornly glared back. Finally she looked down and muttered "Fine."

Then we both turned our heads back torwards them speaking.
They didn't have seem to heard us and were still continuing their conversation. I was surprised because we had been whispering loudly.

"So does Zeus want me back on Mount Olympus?" Artemis said.

Thalia leaned closer when she heard her fathers name.

"Yes he does. He said immediately too." Hermes replied.

As if on que, a lightning bolt struck the ground and thunder was rumbling in the distance.

"All right fine." Artemis sighed "Tell him I will come after I talk to my hunters."

"Alright."

Then we looked away as Hermes flashed gold, turning into his godly form and disappeared.

Artemis crossed her arms and said " You two can come out now. I know you're there. Hermes may not know when demigods are spying on him but I sure do. You two were as loud as Dionysus snoring."

Thalia and I shared looks like, uh oh we're in trouble now. Then we walked out with our heads bowed.

If you're wondering, this story takes place after the Blood of Olympus, and yes I did read it. It was a good book but there would be things I added.
