Sorry Pragya.. I was busy with some work.. couldn't attend your call yesterday.. Is everything fine there..?!.. Saurab voiced in agitated tone..

She scowled her voice.., Calm down Bulbul.. Purab and Abhi had gone police station.. as they got a call from Inspector..

Police station..!. They went to police station.. how did I miss this.. I have to inform Saurab about this.. Pragya thought and sent him a message.. as unknown from Anjali and Bulbul..

Di.. I will give this milkshake to Anu.. Pragya said and walked out with the glass of milkshake..,

Passing by Anuj's room.. she heard him screeching his voice on someone.. she slided the curtain and saw him speaking in mobile.. and stood hiding herself to hear him..

Just listen to me.. I want to meet him immediately and I no need any excuses.. that's it..,

Okay fine.. don't take much time.. I'm waiting for your call.. He ended the call and Pragya wondered of.. whom he was talking to.. that too in much tension.. she was about to leave.. but heard him saying.. Once I meet him.. I will get all the answers for this mystery..!..

Now Pragya was completely puzzled.., with those misery.. she stepped towards Anu's room.. and saw her playing.. Pragya didi.. finally you came.. see nah.. I can't complete this puzzle..!.. Can you help me.. Anu asked with her innocence filled eyes..

Pragya nods her head with a warm smile.. I will.. but before that finish this milkshake.. we will solve the puzzle together..

It was after dinner..

Pragya in her room was waiting for Saurabh's call and wondered as why Abhi and Purab are still not to home.., why he didn't call me still.. And where are these two.. I feel somewhat weird.. I hope Saurabh must be fine.. Shall I call him..?!.. Pragya thought and picked her mobile from the bed.. Just then she heard the calling bell and rushed out of the room to check on it..

Standing near the door and she peeped hiding behind the pillar.. Anjali who opened the door gave a warm smile.. While Pragya saw Abhi and Purab getting in with a broad smile..

She saw them walking upstairs and ran into her room.. Closing the door slowly.. She took a deep breath.. They were looking so happy.. What would have happened..!?.. Is everything alright.. It's waste to wait for Saurabh's call.. Let me call him.." she decided and calls him.. But to increase her tension.. His mobile was switched off..

What happened to this Saurabh.. Why his mobile is switched off.. Is he in any trouble..!?.. She said and again gave a try calling him.. But the response was same.. She panicked standing like a statue.. And looked at the water bottle which was empty.. Picking it up she walked out of her room..

Pragya directly walked into the kitchen with a blank face.. She opened the fridge and kept the empty bottle inside it.. And closed the door..

She was about to step out.. But someone held her from back.. And she stood still in her thoughts.. Here Anjali who was continuously calling her name.. snapped in front of her which brought her back to reality..

Pragya.. Where were you.. And what happened to you..!?.. Are you okay..!?!. she asked tracing her cheek.. And Pragya blinked her eyes saying as.. What happened di..!?.. I can't get you..!?..

Anjali shook her head and opened the fridge by pulling the empty bottle out and showed it to her.. And Pragya still gave a blank sight..

What happened to you Pragya..?.
You had kept an empty bottle inside the fridge.. Is everything alright with you..!?.. Anjali voiced with a concern..

I'm so sorry di.. I.. I came to get the bottle filled with water..
I'm.. feeling very tired.. and.. May be that's why.. She shivered her voice and her face went completely sweat full ..

Relax my dear.. Fine.. I will fill this bottle with water.. You go and sleep soon.. Okay.. Said Anjali and started to fill the water in the bottle..

Pragya noticed the dinner plates ready in the tray.., I'm sure di has prepared this for Abhi and Purab..!. Pragya thought and stood staring as her mind was stuck on something..,

Here it is.. Your water bottle is ready.. Have a good sleep.. Said Anjali with a broad smile and Pragya took the water bottle from her saying.. Thank you so much di.. But.. These dinner plates.. I mean.. We all had dinner together right..!?..

Oh.. These plates..!.. Abhi and Purab just returned home few minutes before.. This is for them.., Anjali said and lifted the tray..

Pragya said.. This much late.. Any problem di..!?.. Pragya asked keenly.. And she replied.. I didn't ask them anything as they were already looking exhausted..

If you are okay.. I will take Abhi's plate.. As his room is next to my room.. Pragya said seeking her permission and she nods her head with a smile..

She grabbed the plate quickly from her and stepped out of the kitchen with a rage of force..

Walking near his room.. She stood for a minute and took a deep breath.. With a slow and steady face.. She gave a knock over the door and waited for his voice for permission..

Come in..!.. He said from inside while she opened the door and walked in.. Where Abhi was turning to the other side and busy with his mobile..

Thank you bhabi.. I'm so tired and very hungry.. You keep it here and leave.. I will have it in a while.. Abhi said still facing the other side by still being busy with his mobile..

Pragya gave a frantic sight and stepped ahead placing the dinner plate over his bed.. She gave a false cough and he at once turned facing her with a portent full face.. She downed her face.. As her eyes alone sighted him with a acute affection..

He smiled at her and she turned to leave.. But stopped hearing him.. Who said.. By the way.. Thank you..!. she flipped towards him..

And he looked at the dinner plate saying.. I mean.. Thank you for the dinner..!. She winked her eyes and he said.. You are still awake..!.. Are you waiting for me..!?..

She gave a confounded look and thought.. How come he knew that I was waiting for him being still awake..!?..

Hmmm.. Your face says that.. I'm actually saying the truth.. Isn't..!?.. Abhi said with a shining smile.. and Pragya mout at him..

Without speaking a word she quickly stepped out of his room.. and saw Purab walking towards her.. She again hid behind the pillar and as Purab didn't notice her.. and stepped into Abhi's room tensed..

Abhi.. he escaped again..!.. said Purab and Abhi was shocked.. What..?!.. But how and when..?.. We just saw him and came nah.. How could that be possible..?!. Abhi voiced shockingly..

Just now inspector called me and said this.. he injured the police men who were there for his protection.. and escaped from there.. he also said that.. he will send some securities here.. because he might reach here and harm Anuj bhai at anytime.., So.. we should be careful.. said Purab with a concern..

No Purab.. this is not done.. I mean.. let us do this way.. call inspector now.. Abhi said and Purab looked at him with a puzzle.. while Abhi asked him to call the inspector.., after then they walked out of the room.. as Pragya hid from them again..

Pragya who heard everything got panicked and felt very suspicious of the person as who it must be.. and why is he so determined to destroy Anuj..

Rushing towards her room.. she locked the room and pulled her mobile out to dial Saurab.. But she got the same response again and again..

A while later...
It was around 11.30..

Pragya dozed off in the couch after waiting for a long time on expecting Saurab 's call..

On the other side..

Downstairs Abhi and Purab were sitting in the sofa and wandering their eyes all over the living room for every minute..

Abhi.. don't you think we are wasting our time... I don't think he will come here and risk his life.. as he has escaped from police clutches.. he definitely knows that they will be in search of him.. by the time he will be very alert.. moreover.. he will not afford to get caught again that easily.. Purab voiced determined..

Pragya splashed the water over her face and look at the mirror.. She saw her eyes which was filled with tears.. wiping off the droplets of water from her face she thought..

Why does my heart says.. Anuj is not the one..!?.. He.. he seems to be very normal and more than anything he loves his family alot.. then how come he could destroy others happiness.. or is it like Saurab said.. I'm getting out of track with everyone's talks..

With those worries.. she walked out of the washroom.. and saw the curtain of the balcony door being rigid..

She stepped towards it and was about to pull the curtain in order to close the room.. just then.. she saw a shadow on the other side of the curtain.. and for a second.. she gasped dreadfully..

Abhi and Purab.. who where wandering in the living hall.. heard the loud scream of Pragya.. and sighted at each other frenzy .. They rushed upstairs at once and started to knock the closed door of Pragya's room continuously..

And few seconds later.. the door opened.. as Pragya stood with a erratic face.. and gestured as what..?!., Both of them stepped in while Pragya moved aside gradually.. Purab looked all over the room..

Abhi clutched Pragya's arms saying.., what happened.. why did you scream like that..?!. Did anyone come here..?!. Purab walked towards the balcony and slided the curtain to see no one..

What happened to you both..?!.
Who has come.. why you both are looking tensed.?!., Asked Pragya relieving herself from Abhi's grip.. and Purab said.. But why did you scream..?!.

I went to wash my face and got frightened on seeing a lizard..
I'm very scared of those creatures particularly.. that's why I screamed.. Pragya replied very casually..

Abhi shook his head saying.. Are you mad..?!.. you shouted just looking at a lizard..!. You are unbelievable Pragya.. and may I know why did you wash your face at this time..?!.. Abhi asked folding his arms across and Pragya circled her eyes.. and let out a deep sigh saying.. I.. I just washed away my face pack.. that's it.. she voiced her words of lie while Abhi looked at Purab shook his head affirm..

They turned to step out of the room.. at once Abhi screamed his voice out as he saw Bulbul standing in front of them with her face pack filled all over her place..

Abhi.. It's me.. Bulbul said hitting his arm.. and Purab laughed out loudly and Pragya giggled her laugh looking at Abhi who was still looking scared.. Come on Bulbul.. don't be so..!.. you are looking not less than a devil.. Abhi said touching her cheek with his fingers.. and she smirked her eyes at his words..,

I just herad Pragya's screaming voice and rushed to check on her.. is everything fine Pragya..?!.. Bulbul asked with a concern.. and Pragya gave smile with a soft nod.. where Abhi said.. It's nothing Bulbul.. she got a very scary dream and you were present there.. that's why she screamed horribly..

Purab blurted his giggle out and Bulbul warned him with her eyes not to do so.. and he gripped Abhi's arms.. which signed him that they should leave..

As soon as the three left the room.. Pragya locked the door from inside and raced bending herself down under the bed and stretched her arms.. Saurab clutched it and popped out leaving a relief sight..

Pragya made him to sit over the bed and carefully handled his wounded leg by placing it over the bed and inserted a pillow below it..

She served him a glass of water as he saw her tears running out of her eyes.. placing the water glass beside.. he said.., Stop crying Pragya.. I'm fine..!.. it's just a small hurt and I will be fine very soon.. you don't have to worry lamely..

She sat opposite to him saying.. Don't try to hide your pain.. What is all this Saurab.. where were you so long..?. and why didn't you attend my call..?.. You know how panicked I was.. how did you get this wound..?!..

She lined up her questions with her quivering scowls looking at him.. where all the while Saurab stayed calm and frolic.. Will you speak out please.. she sterns her voice again.. and he said.. Relax.. I just got a hit with a bullet.. that's all.. Bullet..!.. who shot you.. and why..?!. asked Pragya..

Police was chasing me along with Purab and Abhi.. I mean.. they caught me and started to chase me.. I tried a lot to escape myself.. but Abhi and Purab caught me as the inspector shot pointing my leg..

I fainted on the spot and when opened my eyes.. saw me laying over the hospital bed.. Now I escaped from their clutches.. and with no other go.. I injured a cop who was set for my security..

Saurab.. I can't understand anything.. how did they get to know about you.. how did they get to know about your whereabouts..?!. Pragya questioned., That's a very big story Pragya.. I thought of getting the footage from police station to know the person who is behind Anuj's life..

So I bribed a cop from station to get the footage.. But I'm sure he must have been caught.. and my fortune mistake was that.. I was there at the same time where Purab and Abhi were present in the police station..

The cop who I bribed showed where I was waiting for him and they started to chase me.. I started to run for my safety.. at a point I was caught by Abhi caught as the inspector shot at my leg..

But there is one good thing Pragya.. They don't know who really I am.. I mean.. They thought that I was the person who stole the bracelet from police station and who is trying to attack Anuj.., because when I opened my eyes I heard the cops speaking that I'm the person as I asked for the footage.. obviously..!. Saurab sealed his voice with a sigh..

Are you just.. are you out of you senses completely..?!.. what if the bullet had took your life away.. did you ever think about me.. you are the last person left for me after Tanu.. we are doing all this to get justice for her death.. and you are staking your life in danger..!!. or have you decided to make me fight this battle alone.. Asked Pragya angrily wiping her tears..

Stop being dramatic Pragya.. I know how to protect myself.. for now I just need a safe place and that's why I'm here.. because I'm sure they will not expect me here.. I mean in your room.. Saurab replied with a smile..

Pragya stood up saying.. you have completely gone mad Saurab..!.

Ufff.. fine stop it now Pragya.. you don't have to worry.. As I will leave by tomorrow morning.. Because I don't want to put you in any trouble.. we are now very close to our target.., Very soon.. Tanu's culprits will be out in front of everyone's eyes.. hopefully..!.,

It was almost 9 am.. passed..

You have my cup of tea.. I will go down and take another cup for me.. It will be better if you stay hiding at the corner of this cupboard itself.. Said Pragya and handed him the tea cup.., No no Pragya.. It's better I leave this place as soon as I could.. I don't want to risk your presence here.. what if someone sees me here hiding in your room..?!., Saurab gasped his voice..

And Pragya said.. calm down.. haan.. you should have thought all this before doing such stupidity.. but there is no point in saying all this to you now..
By the way.. no one will step into this room unless and until I'm inside.. and when I'm out of the room.. no one will step in..

And I had secured your place in this corner right.. even if anyone comes also.. you won't be visible to them.. so now have this tea.. I will get you breakfast.. okay., Pragya said and Saurab sipped the tea.., she stepped out of the room and closed the door looking around.. She walked down the stairs where she saw everyone having their breakfast..

She greeted everyone with Good morning and took her seat as everyone smiled at her.. Pragya you slept over.. today you are very late.. Are you fine..?!. Anjali asked serving her breakfast..

She stammered her voice saying.. haan di.. my alarm didn't ring.. I slept over.. sorry.. you would have managed the breakfast alone nah..?!.. First have your breakfast and then go to my room.. Anu is still sleeping as her holidays have started.. only you can handle her well nowadays.. make her have breakfast.. I'm going along with Anuj for his checkup..

Pragya nodded in assurance and started to have her breakfast.. She was about to hold the juice glass which was done by Abhi simultaneously.. she backed off her hand and same did Abhi.. She touched it again and he repeated the same with a smirk.. he started to pull her patience with his notorious antics continuously.. which was noticed by Purab.. who gave a fake cough that brought their attention..,

Finally Pragya stood up and started to arrange the breakfast plate for Anu.. Just then the security walked in with a huge parcel and handed over to Abhi saying that it came in his name..

Purab held it and stood up placing the parcel over the dining table.. while everyone got puzzled regarding.., Abhi helped Purab to unwrap the parcel as everyone looked on..

Once it was done unveil.. Everyone were amazed to see as Abhi pulled out something from it.. while Pragya gasped heavily.. a few seconds of silence passed.. and they heard a thudding noise from upstairs.. that made them to rush upstairs without wasting a second.. Along with which Pragya followed them with a dreadful face whose heart said.. Please God.. Save Saurab..!!
