The Power Of Imagine Dragons
Leah laid on the ground. Coach Longhorn walked to her and sighed. "What do I have to do to get you to run. Will music help? I can put on music."
"Actually, yeah." she answered.
"What kind of music?"
"Anything, but Katy Perry she's crazy and weird. I remember loving 'Birthday' when I was younger then when I got older I realized what it really meant." she shuttered.
"Great. I'll put on music if you run."
"Ooo sorry, not gonna happen." Coach sighed.
"Why not?"
"'Cause the view down here is great. You can feel the sun burning you eyes and the clouds are so beautiful. I have a name for all of them." she pointed to each cloud. "That is Sara, that's Ciara, that's Cici and that's Cynthia and that's-"
" Okay I get it they all have names now get to the starting line."
"Ookay." Leah pouted like a little kid. She dragged her feet to the starting line.
"Okay. On your mark. get set-"
"Hold on." Leah did some stretches then a back bend. "What about music?"
Coach grunted and murmured, "I did not sign up for this." The music started playing and we all sprinted, but Leah was faster then everyone. I tried to catch up to her, but she was too fast. She was singing along to the song. I've heard this song before, but I can't remember the name of the band that sang it 'Image dragons, Inner dragon Imagine Dragons that's what they're called. No wonder Leah knows it. It's one of her favorite bands. After the first lap everyone stepped aside to watch Leah continue to sprint. She did little leaps and jumps while she was running. A girl even recorded it. After four more laps, Leah collapsed on the ground. Coach and I were the first to reach her. Leah turned to me.
"Samantha, why didn't you stop me?" I shrugged.
"You were in the zone." She huffed and puffed.
"Coach can I take her to the nurse?"
"Yes. Please."
"Are you really in that much if a hurry to get rid of me?" Leah asked.
"YES. NOW GO TO THE NURSE!" Coach answered.
"Hold on I gotta go get something real quick." I said. I jogged over to where the girl that recorded the run was. "Could you send that to me?" she nodded. I jogged back to Leah and helped her up.
You're the worst friend ever."
"I know."
