"Isn't she awesome?" Yeper said.

"I guess so." I answered. Yeper had already decided Eveline was going to be her friend? Oh geez. That would not be good for me later on.

Eveline looked at Yeper. "I am glad to have found a new friend already!" She exclaimed. "This will be a wonderful stay!"

Eveline said everything ecstatically, and she was excited all the time. I wondered if she had ADHD, or was just always on a sugar high.

We heard a bell ring, indicating the final portion of class was starting.

"Well, I better go!" Yeper said to me. "Hey Eveline, what building do you go to?"

"Building E." Eveline answered.

Yeper grinned even wider. "That's my class building! That means we can go to class together!"

"Yay!" Eveline became even more excited; if such a thing was possible for her. They both ran to building E, and left me standing there. I wasn't upset at them for that; on the contrary. I was happy to be left in silence finally.

I walked to my own class building, and started the finishing part of my schoolwork for the day.

After school, Constan decided to go hang out with his friends.

I was putting my books in my locker when Yeper and Eveline ran over to me.

"Tendo?" Yeper asked. "Eveline and I need to ask you something."

I looked at the both of them. "Yes? What is it?"

Eveline and Yeper both looked at each other, then back at me. "I just wanted to know, "Eveline began. "If... I could come over to your house, and play with Yeper for the afternoon."

I was a little surprised that she even asked me. Don't get me wrong, I thought Eveline had manners, I just didn't think she knew how to use them.

I answered her with a question of my own, "Why are you asking me?"

"Because your her brother, and her older sibling," Eveline responded. "I thought it wouldn't be right if I just invited myself over without someone besides Yeper's permission."

"Oh," I said. "Well then. It's... ok with me."

"Thank you very much!" Eveline said while bowing. "Oops!" She corrected herself. "I remembered you don't bow to each other here, do you?"

"Not that I've ever seen." I reported.

"Well, thank you again." She turned to Yeper. "Let's go home together!"

"Ok!" Yeper said. And with that they began their run home.

Eveline was actually a lot like Aurora probably was when she was younger, I thought to myself. She even has manners, like Aurora has now. She just has to 'fine-tune' them.

I watched as they ran together until they were out of my field of vision.
