Sigh.

In one moment of complete ignorance, I set up a 'date', (the day, date kind of thing, not the you know what,) to meet with Aurora, and her father.

Apparently her father, you know the umbreon, wanted to meet me personally, and find out just who is ahem, dating, her daughter.

I agreed, and we decided to meet at Aurora's house.

I was absolutely nervous, because I was gonna be seeing her inside her own house! Out of the, one, two... maybe a month and a half that we've been ahem, dating, never once have we gone to her house.

'I don't want to show it off' Aurora would end up saying whenever I asked. 'It's... kind of embarrassing.'

But today, I would meet her at HER house! I felt so... cool.

Anyways, I was walking to the cross-street area where we were gonna meet. They were going to walk me to their house, and Aurora's dad would talk with me and get to know me on the way there.

I arrived several minutes early, to get myself mentally prepared. I had to avoid referencing her birthday at all costs, or she would get suspicious. I am truly terrible at keeping secrets under pressure. If she didn't talk about it at all, then I would be fine. But if she did... let's just hope she didn't.

I was standing there for about four minutes, when I saw them come out from behind a corner.

I waved, and Aurora saw me. She ran the twenty or so feet, and stopped right in front of me.

"Hi, Tendo!" She said enthusiastically.

I smiled. "Hi. That was... quite the run."

She looked back behind her, and then back at me. She giggled slightly. "Oh that? I just haven't seen you for three days. I was excited."

Her father walked up behind her. "Ah, there's the young lad. How is your day going?"

"Good, sir." I answered.

He nodded. "That's good to hear. Our house is a couple of blocks away. So, it might be a little bit of a walk. I hope your prepared for some conversation along the way."

I nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't have come if I wasn't."

He smiled, and began walking. "Come along!"

Aurora smiled at me, and then followed her dad. I went alongside Aurora, and her dad began the conversation.
