while white curtains

whip whisk waft i fall in my dream -

my feet logging lagging behind

i fall     nearly     not quite scraping knees

then i right myself in a last second

and something is not right

about that    

in a dream

a fall is like a hiccup after it stopped

there should be no upright    to be

left there two thirds down

eighty percent fallen     nearly washing

god's feet with non existent tresses

is just not

right     i should be sliding on my knees

like a stealing breath     a rolling cloud

but especially

like a skipping stone     all the way

all the way     all the way     my

joints hiccuping but me feeling it in my fall     carrying it through     all the way

because my wrong way round is

my right side up
