Dear Reader Besties,

Regarding King Thranduil of Tolkein's Middle Earth, the elf, the myth, the legend, I will limit my monologue to this much:

I will write him with a compassionate eye, but I will remain as faithful to the authenticity of his characterizations, both in Tolkein's books and in the film adaptations, as possible.

As always, I endeavor to adhere to Tolkien's Elven standards of practice and spiritual beliefs.

Thank you to everyone who has offered such grand support of my other Elven fanfiction stories. You've become a kick-ass community to hang out with. In the mean time, Thranduil has been lounging fabulously upon his throne, waiting his turn with surprising patience.

It's time to begin my story of the Elvenking.
