I was in & out of consciousness. First, there was only pain. Slowly the pain subsided. A set of fangs being a constant memory. I sat up in bed finding Heeseung at my side. "I know you aren't sleep, Heeseung...", my throat was hoarse & I was incredibly thirsty.

Heeseung opened his eyes as he seemed to look at me concerned. He sat like fifteen bags of blood in front of me. "Drink it, Haewon." I refused as I grabbed his hand, not yet noticing why he was so concerned for me. "무슨 일인가요? 희승 씨는 왜 저를 그렇게 봐요? 아무 기억이 안나요." (What happened ? Why are you looking at me like that, Heeseung ? I don't remember anything.)

He sighed as he made me look at my wrist. The very wrist that had a very clear scar of a bite. It was slowly healing, but it was apparent that it should've healed much faster. "A rogue vampire attacked you... I am the one who found you..."

Oddly, I felt all of what Heeseung was feeling. He was worried, guilty, & affectionate. "솔직하게 말해주세요. 뭘 했는데요?" (Be honest, please. What did you do ?) Heeseung moved by the window as he seemed to want to avoid eye contact with me, "I sucked the venom out. But..."

I joined him at the window. "I am in transition, aren't I ?" The state between me as I was & full vampire... My question was answered by the silence as Heeseung continued avoiding eye contact. I wasn't angry with him. How could I be angry with him ? I rested a hand on his arm, "희승이..." (Heeseung...) 

Unknowingly, I amplified his emotions. He turned to me, eyes locking with mine. Only briefly for a second casting down at my neck. "Drink the blood bags, Haewon." What was going on between us ? I said something I never would've said otherwise. I was consumed by his emotions I was feeling, "Turn me, Heeseung..."
