But basically, I'm not sure about all musicians, but for me, I see life from a different perspective.

I always try to find notes and rhythms in almost everything — the chirping of birds, the sound of my footsteps as I walk, other people's voices...

Yeah.
Crazy, I know.

But every time I listen to a song, I immediately try to figure out the time signature, key signature, and instruments.

Literally, I'll sit there and listen to a song for a half hour or more just to be able to nit-pick every little instrument in a song, then be able to say every single one.

Well, the ones I can recognize, anyway.

I'm better at music with normal instruments than electronic ones, because I'm not very experienced with electronic instruments.

But I always try to hear some kind of rhythm or melody or SOMETHING in everything...
