Lawlight Headcanon: Pets 2.0
Just in case anyone was wondering- it did not stay with one cat. In fact, they got a second one. A slim, sassy, almond colored tomcat with striking golden eyes and extremely sharp claws and teeth. He was originally called Frank, but got the nickname Frizzle due to his bad fur condition when he first arrived at the shelter. L gave him lots of other nicknames too, mostly revolving around sweets- that's why he was also called Tulumba, Truffle, Nut wedge, Chocolate Chip, Biscuit, Macadamia and a lot of other things. Light wanted something in their household with a normal name for once, but well, now he lives with Pebbles, Frizzle and a hot letter. Although they were warned that the cat didn't get along at all with others of his species, they decided to take him anyway. After all, it could be like it was with them- and it was. Frizzle adored Pebbles and vice versa, they became inseparable in no time. Frizzle even sleeps on top of his friend, using him as a pillow (which he probably picked up from Light after somehow managing to walk into their bedroom in the middle of the night), and he's quite intelligent- much to Pebbles' advantage. He knows how to open- and even unlock- doors, is able to open bags with anything that seems interesting to him, found out how to turn the TV on and also knows how to drink from the faucet. Sometimes L and Light both think about how unrealistic it seems to have two so different creatures so close to each other, only functioning right together. "They're just like us" "Yeah" "Pebbles is just as stupid as you, Light" "L I swear if you don't stop right now..."
