Chapter 14: The Perfect Betrayal

Author's note: Hi guys, thank you for staying with me through out this story. Unfortunately, it's about to end soon. This isn't the last chapter but it's the second to last. Thank you all for the support, and a special thank you to KocharianMonika for being such an inspiration. I wouldn't have had the courage to put this fanfiction here if it wasn't for her. Alright, now let's get down to the story!

Everyone was now preparing to attack the Many Dolls factory. With each growing day, Alohi felt more and more targeted. It was a more stronger feeling than the day that she went into Imperfection. Now Alohi couldn't meet her friends and stayed in her room with a concerned Lou and Ox.

Little did everyone know that Lucky Bat was hiding a very dark secret. He became more jumpier and shyer than usual. This red Ugly doll had a secret reason for it though.

—--------------------Last night at 9:35 pm---------------------

Lucky Bat was wandering around in the pipes. He was going on a stroll to clear his mind of Mad Einstein. It was just too much energy wasted being around people. Lucky Bat was a shy introvert so that meant he loved his alone time even though it was nice to be around Moxy and his other friends.

He then heard a scared cry. Lucky Bat was curious and looked down the Recycling bin. To his horror, Alana was halfway close to becoming incinerated. Her eyes held strong fear and sadness.

Lucky Bat then used his flying skills (which he practiced after the whole Uglydolls adventure in case it was ever needed to save anyone) to save Alana. He flys down and holds her just as she was about to die. The incinerator then slowed down as if it was a monster going back to sleep.

All the emotion that Alana had now burst out as she cried. She hugged Lucky Bat and cried. Lucky Bat let her hug him and comforted her by his presence.

"I'm sorry, I was such a jerk. I was just taught all these things by Mad Einstein. I might've torn Mandy's heart but it was because I was jealous of her. Despite all her imperfections and emotions, she still loved him deep down inside. She was so strong and I'm so weak because I'm a failure. I couldn't keep my emotions under control and I failed at everything. Lou probably loves her, not me. He just confused his heart," Alana broke out while still sobbing.

Lucky Bat blushed. He had actually wanted to try being friends with Alana, and move up in the relationship. Of course, his shyness and overthinking got the better of him.

"A-actually, I don't think y-you're a failure. I-I thought m-maybe we could be friends. I see that you are a great doll and so c-can we try out this relationship?" Lucky Bat tried.

He braced for the "Ew, why would I want to date some ugly thing like you" but instead Alana replied with, "Sure, and this time we'll work our way up."

And so Lucky Bat walked her to his house since Mikey was still on his trip. They both loved each other as friends. That was all Lucky Bat could focus on.

—--------------------Lucky Bat's perspective------------------

I try not to look suspicious. I know that Mad Einstein can spy and find out soon. Alana told me everything she knew. When I suggested telling everyone, she went pale and begged not to tell. She was afraid everyone would still be mad and that Mad Einstein would track her down.

It's hard not to but I promised my new friend so I was helpless to explain why I had to leave at the weirdest times and more things I do to help Alana. No one can know about Alana, so I do the thing introverts do best, which is to be quiet.

Alohi looks more fearful though. She's always having nightmares and shouting to not take all her loved ones (according to Lou and Ox). I feel a bit sorry that I'm not helping as much as I can be. Now, it leaves me to enjoy meditation.

"Lucky!" a pink blob shouts out.

"Aah! Oh it's you, Moxy," I say, realizing that the person who jumped scared me was none other than Moxy.

"Alohi was kidnapped! Lou is devastated so he's practically worrying his head off! We need to be there!"

"O-oh but let me do one thing first," I say.

This is going to be a long day with no time to meditate.

—---------------------Lou's perspective-----------------------

I panicked as soon as I overheard the Police alert Delaney and Alohi's mom, the most terrible thing ever. Alohi was kidnapped during her Honors Math class. I'm trying to be calm but we're talking about the person that gave me the love I never had! I should've secretly jumped into her backpack!

"But how did he capture Alohi during class?" Tuesday asked dumbfounded.

Not even the two other Spy Girls could answer that. They were also stumped. Ox was worried but he tried comforting Lou. It was no use since the blonde was caught up in what if scenarios.

Joy finally said, "Louie, we'll save her but we need you to calm down."

That got Lou but he was in tears. "I don't want to lose the one person that gave me love."

"Don't worry, we'll save your girlfriend and your best friend," Kitty assured.

Lou was too sad to even correct Kitty about the girlfriend part. He was shedding tears because of what Mad Einstein is capable of.

"Wait, I've been wondering about this for a long time but is his actual name Mad Einstein?" Tuesday asked curiously.

"You actually got a point there. What if he had an actual name?" Lydia said, surprised that Tuesday was right for once.

"Would the answers be right here?" Lou asked as he pulled out a yearbook that was obviously too big for the blonde prototype.

"There's a bookmark here! It has to mean something!" Moxy said with so much enthusiasm.

"Girl, don't even think about it! She could've wanted to see her Dad as a child," Wage said with an attitude.

Moxy ignored her and pushed it open. She noticed that no one had a last name that started with an S. Everyone peered over and didn't see the last name Solace anywhere. Lou then grabbed a pen (he finally knew how to write and fight with a pen) and started writing out Mad Einstein. He tried every single way to get a name, but it was never an actual name.

Finally, he removed "stein" from the word and tried scrambling the letters. That was when he started making progress and finally got Damien.

"Joy, can you find the name Damien Menken?" Lou asked.

Joy, confused at Lou, searched and found him. "Why do you want to know Louie?"

"Because we just found out who's our enemy and the person that has abused prototypes for so long."

—------------------------Meanwhile--------------------------

Alohi's eyes fluttered open. She wondered where she was. All she remembered was that the Math substitute asked her to come over to her. She had tried dragging her away, and so Alohi cried out for help. That was when things got black. Already, she longed for the company of Lou and Ox.

"Well hello Alohi, nice to see you awake," Mad Einstein said while smirking.

Alohi tried to get up but her wrists and legs were tied to a chair. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Why don't you come clean and just realize that you're not the good guy? I know what you did to my Dad and Lou. I also know what you did to my Dad and Lou. I also know your real name, Damien," Alohi said slowly and intelligently.

Damien was shocked. "How did you figure it out?"

"I remember my Dad talking to a guy named Damien when I was 5 years old. Your name was an anagram with some added letters. You could've done Mad Ein, but that would've been either a success or a failure. Mad Einstein was stronger than Mad Ein."

"Very smart for a 13 year old girl."

"Why am I here? If you want me to tell you about Lou, then you'll get nothing from me."

"You are the perfect bait alongside Mandy for Lou."

"Where is Mandy? You better not have done anything to her!"

"She's fine, after all she is a doll so why worry?"

"I am going to take you down, you know? Bad things never last forever."

Damien frowned. He saw the resemblance of Evan in Alohi. It took Alohi a minute to realize that she didn't have her glasses on. All she could see was blurs. "Evan told me that same thing when he confronted me. He told me that it wasn't the right thing to do. That was before I got the idea to spike his drink."

"Where's my glasses? Al paid for that and I don't want to waste his money."

He didn't answer and just left, leaving Alohi alone in the plain gray room. She remembered a trick Delaney taught her to untie the wrists. Alohi twisted her wrist and tried untying the knot. She grit her teeth from the pain, but finally she got one wrist free.

It was the same for the other wrist. Once her wrists were free, she untied her legs. She snuck out of the room and avoided people. Finally, she made her way to the lab. Alohi looked around. There was no sight of any dolls.

"Alohi!" Mandy shouted out.

She then noticed Mandy in a cage. Mandy also had a lot of stitches. Alohi came over and tried to free her.

"Not so fast!" a familiar rough voice called out.

"Remember that day in Imperfection when Darryl said that Lou was a jerk? He's a spy for Mad Einstein and a traitor!" Mandy shouted.

Alohi simply picked up the darkish blue haired doll. "I would have to guess you're Micheal's twin brother."

"Yeah, so what if I am?"

"Means nothing but you will have karma and punishment for your perfect betrayal," Alohi said coolly while unlocking Mandy and replacing Darryl with the cage.

Darryl grumbled as his light sky blue eyes were filled with bitter hate. He was taken down but now she was standing right in front of Damien Menken.

"You may have taken down Darryl, but I'm still here, darling," Damien said.

"You're worse than Lou."

"There's a whole lot more where that came from."

"You missed me, Damien Menken?" a sweet voice called out.

Alohi turned to see Lou and his gang along with Alana. Alana wore a proud grin and held Lucky Bat's wing.

"How?! I recycled you!" he growled with rage.

"You may think that I'm gone, but I come back like bad luck. Karma is coming for you," Alana said with her signature smirk.

Author's Note: I said I wouldn't use any cuss words, but guess where I disguised it :)

"Well karma's a witch! I will do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams! That prototype, Mandy, is my ticket to changing the world and children!"

Everyone gasped at the fact that Mandy was a prototype. There was a surprise silence that hung in the air.

"How? Mandy can go to the big world," Lou said, confused.

"She was a successful prototype that merely passed my experimenting," Damien said, shrugging.

"D-dad?!" a shaky voice called out.

It was Amity. Her bluish green eyes were pouring tears and her whole body was shaking. She always said that she never cared about her Dad; however, deep down she believed that her Dad really did remember her. With her was Alessandro and the other FBI members including Delaney and Annalise.

"Amity, it wasn't like that," Damien said, trying to get close to his daughter.

Amity backed away like a scared bunny. "How could you?! You completely backstabbed me and abused dolls. Moreover, that was more important than me."

Damien turned to Alohi and the others. "Look what you made me into! Now my own daughter won't look at me!"

"No Dad! Stop blaming everyone for what you did! Even Mom left you probably because of what you became!"

Amity couldn't speak and was now on her knees. Her tears were enough to fill an ocean. Damien was immediately arrested by the FBI, and so everyone who was involved was also arrested. Everything went by so quickly that Alohi wasn't so sure how it came to this conclusion.

"Alohi Arella Solace!"

It was Delaney. Her piercing eyes made Lou wince. Alohi grinned sheepishly and said, "I can explain."

"Young lady, that was the greatest thing I've ever seen you do! I couldn't have asked for a better younger sister."

Alohi relaxed and hugged her tight. Delaney hugged back and said, "You are my brave girl."

"I couldn't have done it at all if it wasn't for Lou."

And so everything was made right. Everyone got a happy ending. Amity would need time to heal, but she now had the greatest friends she could ever ask for. Overall, Lou and Joy had paved the way to a better future for existing and future dolls.

Author's Note: Thanks again for being so interested in my fanfiction. If you like this one, then I have another fanfiction that I'm going to post right after it's done. I already started writing out some part of it, but I may do some more Uglydolls fanfictions in the future. Not a guarantee but I hope you will keep seeing what other fanfictions I post :)
